I have been trying to run MODELcheck in created MFG assembly (nailboard), but the button is grayed out and I'm not possible to use it. I tried to edit my config_init, but I'm not sure what exactly should I look for.
Hi,I'm working on Creo Parametric 8.0.4.0 and I recently added in my config.pro the line "tol_display yes" in order to have in my .prt files the possibility to see and modify adjustments and tolerances. It's working great except when I create, in my .drw, a tolerance not associated to a dimension. As you can see in this example, I can't see the flatness. Is there a way to solve this ?
I have installed Mathcad prime8.0 but failed to get the authorization. I cannot find any .dat file from my computer. Please assist. Thank you very much.

Hello everyone, I have a customer with Creo 3.0 M180 licensed until 2017.He is using it in consultation only. Now he needs to move it to another windows pc...is it possible to do it? can i migrate the license key from pc to other pc?thanksStefano
Hello, I am trying to create a value for the sum above to then plot in an overall graph of capacity vs increments.so capacity vs Ts.idx (100mm) increments. IncrementTs.idx 0 would be 0 Ts.idx 0.1 would be 0.08+0=0.08Ts.idx 0.2 would be 0.321+0.08+0=0.401 etc and so on. so, the value of Ts.idx and everything above it Then I can see quiet easily and what total length would be needed to resist the ULS load in a good visual output.
Hello, I'm setting up our company standard .hol files. I want to define a hole with the hole command and show that model information on the drawing. My problem is when you define the shape in the hole command for a counterbore or counter sink the note information from the DEFAULT_CALLOUT_FORMAT_DATA reads the .hol file. Is there a way to have it read the actual model information and not what is in the .hol file? It is not reasonable to have have a it read the .hol file for something that is variable. I have attached an example. You can see that the note is not reading the model information.
In this tutorial you will see how to utilize the View Manger Tool to save a custom view and to navigate precisely in the graphics window. Transcription of VideoClick the View Manager Tool to display its dialogue Box.At present Orient tab is active. From here different type of views can be set and created/deleted.Here create a new view named Isometric View. Type the name and click the middle mouse button. Now Re-define this view.Orientation dialogue box will be opened. From here define the orientation of the model by specifying the Front and Top reference of the model.Switch to Dynamic Orient Tab.Here you can see Pan, Zoom and Spin navigation tools that are used to adjust the view of the graphic window. You can drag the slider or fill a precise value to operate them. Now spin the model 45° vertically and 30° horizontally. Hit Ok to exit. Now you can switch between the different views and set the view of your choice at any time.A new update to this topicThat was a manual way to s

Hello,I have an assembly which have a bunch of groups and inside those groups have a bunch of components (whose are single components and other sub-assemblies). I would like to expand those groups down to next lower level in tree or even expand down to a pre-defined level. Is there any workaround to do this?I am using Creo 7.0.6.0.B.R.R. Caetano
Dear members of the Mathcad Community, I'm just wondering if it possible to plot the variation of a parameter in any equation without rewriting the equation multiple times. Attached you find an example.I really appreciate your support. Best Regards.
I am wanting to create two descriptions on the model for use on a new parts book template I am creating:Description (used on shop floor drawings)Part Book Description (Given to the customer with minimum detail )I would like the BOM table to look at model and use this logic: If model has a “Description” & “Part Book Description” use “Part Book Description”If model has a “Description” & No “Part Book Description” use “Description” I have written this IF statement but it does not seem to work. Am i doing something wrong IF EXISTS("asm_mbr_partbook")DESCRIPTION = asm_mbr_partbookELSEDESCRIPTION = asm_mbr_descriptionENDIF Any help appreciated thanks
Good day, currently I have a serious problem with Creo Parametric 5.0.1. in the student version. Every time I open an assembly, Creo doesn't find the individual parts and the link is broken. If I then find the individual part again via the history tree and the correct link exists, I save the assembly. After saving and closing this assembly, Creo loses the individual part when it is opened again and the link is faulty again.
Mathcad prime 8 is having trouble understanding Vector quantity. When I open the worksheet, It automatically calculates and throws the error " This value must be scalar or vector".When the equals sign is deleted and replaced, the worksheet works fine. But then if I change the units from "m" to "mm", the worksheet looses the vector values again and throws the same error. Can someone confirm if there is permanent solution to this.P.S: I created this worksheet in Mathcad prime 7.0, recently got prime 8 installed. Could that be reason? Or just this version has the bug.
People in America say that it is Russian slides (hills - roller coasters). People in Russia say it's a American hills. Do you know which physical device is described graphically here?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM150I would like to use envelope models to help with managing large assemblies but I need to retain a parametric link to the mass properties of the original assembly. I have found a way to do this using a mass properties measurement feature in the original assembly in combination with relations and assigned mass properties in the envelope model, but this requires users to manually update the session ID in the relations of the envelope model. I would like to know if it is possible to automatically associate the envelope model relations with the parent assembly session ID on envelope model creation.
Can anybody explain what the function fibonacci (undocumented, symbolic only, Mathcad 11) does? It accepts more than one argument, but only the first appears to be observed. Luc

I am aware of the 'klugy' workaround (my impression and the lack of efficiency/speed) using the Math...Insert Chart Component tool/button, but for a simple, quick few clicks the 27 years of using MathCAD got rid of the basic plot tool's ability to create and customize simple gridlines. It also appears to have removed the TraceXY feature, where you can actively move the cursor, point by point along the curve to see the X, Y values at each point. As it stands in v7.0, the vertical and horizontal 'markers' are independent of the curve or data points, making it unusable for the old TraceXY tool since it will contain random error in both X and Y values.

Does anyone have this problem in P8 where in full screen the left-hand side is clipped making it difficult to see/locate the area collapse button?
I'm using MathCad Express but it has me on a trial version. Trying to remove the watermark across the sheet.
Is there a way to write an equation with an unknown variable? The solution could then be displayed as a product of the variable, and then use another formula to cancel out the unknown variable. In the attached screenshot, the n at the beginning of the first equation is unknown. Therefore the solution of s(eff)/n = 140 mm can be rearranged to s(eff) = 140*n mm. This can be then be cancelled out in the second equation to solve for K. Note - In the screenshot (which is from a design guide), the guide confusingly uses n to define three different variables. In my workbook they are defined in order as n, n(1) and n(2), with n on the LHS of the equation being the unknown.
