Hi,   Creo Parametric 3.0       I need to make a cylinder with a laser cut pattern. I thought the easiest way would be to revolve the cylinder in sheet metal and then flatten/unbend. When I have the flat sheet metal, I can sketch and extrude my pattern. The only problem is that creo takes bending factors into account. When I flatten/unbend a cylinder with Ø2,4 mm, the surface I get is not the circumference length that I need. I need a cylinder with an OD of Ø2,4 mm and when flat/unbend, a surface of 7,54mm (2,4*pi). Does anyone have a solution to this?   Thanks, Kristoffer J

I've seen that some Google map widget properties are bindable but I don't understand how.I want to bind a checkbox to "Show region" property so that I can choose runtime weather show or not my regions; or I want to bind a slider to the opacity in order to change the opacity of the region while runtime.The thing is, if I change the value of the widget, nothing happens on the google widget unless I refresh the page.

A student and I are having problems getting connected back to (Not offline) in Creo.  We go through Server Management and the server indicates "offline". Do a right mouse click and uncheck the "work offline" option. The "Synchronize Workspaces" menu pops up. Select the current (or any other) workspace and OK. A message pops up. "Attention - Connection to server is available.The server to which this workspace belongs is now available.Please check for conflicts and out of date workspace data.Checking for server complement of cached workspaces."Select ok.Another pop-up comes up:Attention - Connection to server is unavailable!The server is currently unavailable. Hi,I'm using Creo 2.0 and trying to revolve a mirrored sketch using a centerline that is outside the sketch as the center of revolution (specifically, an axis datum I made by intersecting two planes). However, when inside the sketch, I used the "centerline" sketch tool in order to provide a line with which to mirror the sketch about. Because the sketch contains a centerline, the revolve feature automatically thinks that I want to use this internal sketch centerline to revolve the sketch about, but this is not allowed to happen because "All entities must be on the same side of the revolving axis." Thus, the section is deemed incomplete, and I cannot complete the sketch.How do I tell Creo I want to use an external centerline, not the one I used in the sketch, as the axis of revolution?Thanks for your help

I currently have our config.pro file set up to pull fonts from a particular drive location, Creo continues to bring up fonts that are located in the C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 3.0\M050\Common Files\text\fonts location of individual machines.  Is there any way to stop creo from lookign at the fonts folder on individual machines?  I would like all users to pull from the same location.

I'm doing this so that I can log it against some other data. Currently when i run my script i get back NaN in the properties. HI,For showing the google maps in the mashups i tried putting my google maps API key in the extension downloaded from thingworx marketplace . I edited the metadata.xml with api key and rezipped, but while trying to import/upload it in Thingworx composer. It shows "Extension must have a metadata.xml file" , actually it has the metadata.xml . Please provide a solution for me.

Hello,I have a pipe assembly and I am trying to create revolved feature at both the ends of pipe. Feature tree is as per attachment.Issue is that Revolve 2 feature I am not able to visualize in drawing area where all parts are visible. If I am suppressing both revolve along with dependent features and then only resume Revolve 2 feature, same is visible into drawing area as well.Please note that I have created Revolve 1 and Revolve 2 at each end of pipe. In any case, whenever I create second Revolve, It remains invisible irrespective of pipe end and same can be make visible only if first revolve feature is suppressed.Please find attached test part with both revolve as reference.It will be of great help if anyone can suggest me on this.Thanks in advance!RegardsKetan

Hi All,I am trying to evaluate the deflection of a simply supported beam (which is subjected to 3 nos. of trapezoidal loads with different start and end ordinates and start and end points on the span of the beam). I tried to formulate the calculation using programming options of the Mathcad. Somehow I ran into a mistake and I could not able to trace the mistake. Can someone please help in finding the mistake.For a clear picture of the problem, please refer to the attached snapshot.Also, the value of deflection at the supports of the simply supported beam shall always be zero irrespective of the loading condition but in my case, the deflections at the support locations are very close to zero but not zero (snapshot is attached for the same).

Dear Creo Users,In my creo 3.0 Professional edition licence software , Style and restyle option are not working. Are their other licences to turn on creo parametric 3.0 style and restyle option?? I have encountered what appears to be a problem with a Boolean operator I am using in a short routine.  I have attached a pdf of the routine for anyone interested.  The values for "TestLeft" and "TestRightIncorrect" should both be 3; however, the "TestRightIncorrect" value is 6.  I have included a modified routine called "TestRightCorrect" that gives me the correct answer, but I do not think this modification should be required.Any advice or guidance on this issue would be greatly appreciated!Thanks!Steve

I was trying to export the Current Session config.pro, in Alphabetical order. What I got was the Current Session in As Set order.Obviously Export Per Current Filter isn't working.Anyone know a way to force it to export using the filters I specified?

Hello-I can't get Find/Replace attributes to find attributes that are null (empty).  Is there a trick to that?  Or a way to do it from the command line?  Thank you.
