Frankly, the text editor s#(ks.  I found the older one in the last version I used (creo elements / pro 5.0) outdated and clunky, but it worked.  This new one is flat infuriating.  Am I stuck with it?  I have trouble reading it and/or manipulating it.  It seems to "time out" when you're trying to change text size etc.Also, I really don't find dwg mode that much better than that "worst EVER" ribbon interface in the old version, if at all.  I just started using dwg mode, but, so far, I am NOt impressed.  Even the old WF interface was better......Ugh!

Why do I always get this error file on startup? debug_feat_recognition.txt.1   It's zero bytes by the way.Creo appears to be configured correctly, I have frt_enabled yes in the config file.Creo isn't like WF4 that required a separate install paths to the toolkit folders. Hello,Is it possible to return a string vertically rather then horizontally?  I'm guessing this takes some programming, but I haven't been able to figure it out.  What I'm trying to do is to somehow get "Return" to have the same dimensions "Output", as indicated below.Thanks for any help!.

Hi,I have a Stream storing a lot of history data of an entity. The data is delivered in a 10 minute frequence and I am visualizing it in a Time Series widget on a dashboard. For a day based view the time series looks fine - If I want to look at a year based view there a far too many data entries and the time series graph is unuseable - moreover it needs a lot of time and computing power to load the data.SQL databases bring the possibilities to query pre-defined views for showing aggregated data on hour/day/... basis. Does TWX bring a similar possibility? If not what would be the best practice to implement such a kind of service?Thank You and regards,Marco

Hi all,I am current published German documents using APP. I have a problem with hyphenate for "klicken" word. It is hyphenated as "klik-ken", which is not correct. I'm not sure if there are any other wrong cases. So I would like to make an exception for it. However, using .exc file doesn't work for APP. Does anyone know how to add Hyphenate exception rule for APP engine?Die for any clue!Thao

Why [cases (3) and (4)] disabling the Pdesolve operator in the first example,  will fault the second example as well? If, instead, [cases (1) and (2)], the first one is active, then all is ok?

Hi everyone again!this time I am struggling in order to find the distribution of peaks in a random signal (actually a vibration).  The theory says that the distribution of peaks (not of the instantaneous amplitudes!) can give interesting informations on the type of signal. And be used for fatigue evaluation. See for example the following excerpt from Harris-Shock and Vibration Handbook.    So if a have a very long file with sampled data (for example 10E3, 10E4 points) with a good enough sampling frequency, I could think to try to determine numerically the following distribution (also from Harris-Shock and Vibration Handbook)Now before I reinvent the wheel I wanted to ask around if someone knows a tool that is already posted in forum and that can make the trick. Hello,   I would like to get rid of log files generated during dxf export. I found a PROE discusion where there is a mapkey created for this purpose: mapkey(continued) @SYSTEMdel c:\\proe_dir\\*_dxf__out.*; but it does not work for me. Hello all,I am trying to work with the Google map widget. I have 20 locations(say Loc_1- Loc_20). Out of 20locations I am pointing 10 in my map to showcase some emergency alerts. I have 20 mashups (mashup1-mashup20) as well for the corresponding locations data. I am able to redirect to the mashup by clicking on the marker on the map.So, I am facing an issue here. When i am clicking on any marker its redirecting to the same mashup. I am wondering How we can actually bind the location to respective mashup(example: Loc_1 to Mashup1, Loc2 to Mashup2................etc). so that if i click on loc1 it should redirect to mashup1 & if i click on loc2 it should redirect to mashup2.Please advice.Thanks and Regards,Babu Yogesh,Dell.

HI all,I'm creating a customized BOM report, in which I need to able to include the string content of the part 'Description' parameter. This currently works fine as I've edited the 'bom_format.bft'  file as required. However, it is now a little more complex as some of the assemblies are using legacy parts generated overseas which do not contain a 'Description' parameter but an 'equivalent alternative'. My question is how to get the BOM report to search for the 'equivalent alternative' parameter in the absence of the 'Description' parameter?I have successfully managed to do this with BOM tables in drawings, but in this instance I am generating the report from the assembly via the 'Bill of Materials'  route.Many thanks in advance.BobThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I am having a formatting issue with my Mathcad when files are opened up on different computers. Everyone is using the same version of Mathcad, but if I work on a file and send it to my coworker, when he opens it up, the text and images are all overlapping and moved around.  Has anyone experienced this?
