I would like to be able to make drawings in which I hide the top die of an assembly in one view and cross hatch a section of top and bottom in another view.  Is there an easy way to do this?I've heard that this might be possible with Layer States or Simplified Rep's of which I haven't been able to figure out.

Looking for assistance with code that will grab a custom attribute value created using T&AM and write it to a variable in a workflow...Then using a custom email template I'll be able to display that value in the email.  Not a code guy at all...thanks!!!WC10.2 M030 CPS 17Greg

Apologies for the silly question, but is the Process plan (Pro-Process) an add on module to be purchased separately with the application? I attempt to access via File-> New-> assembly (Type)-> Process plan (Sub-type). Nothing happens. I notice there's also Process plan (Sub type) in the Manufacturing (Type menu). Neither options are 'ghosted out' and I'm not getting a prompt stating the module is not available.Is there a configuration setting that needs to be activated?Thanks in advance.Bob

I created a repeater contained in a normal mashup allowing users to configure different displayed parameter values.  There can be anywhere from 0 to 100+ repeater rows available.  The issue I am having is that I call my service once to populate all of the rows in my repeater which works fine.  However, as soon as I start scrolling through the rows the repeater widget keeps flashing while the new rows are being displayed.  Once the scrolling stops the flashing goes away.  This doesn't make for a really smooth and user friendly experience.  Is there a way to prevent the flashing once the scrolling starts in a repeater?I would like my repeater to function more like a grid that scrolls.Thanks,Paul

I find myself constantly using a system of 5 equations with 7 different variables. I always know two of the variables, but the two that I know changes. Is there a way to write a single calculator that can solve for the unknowns instead of writing a different calculator for each combination?equations:mt=mf+mwc=mf/mtvf=mf/8.34vw=mw/8.34vt=vf+vwUsing the solve function only lets me solve for unknowns, so I'd have to rewrite the unknowns each time.Using the find function requires me to guess, but I don't know how to distinguish from a known and a guess.I could use if statements, but I'd have to write a huge set of formulas, which isn't ideal.Any help would be appreciated.

Hi I need help with method on how to set drawing format (eg. a3_landscape.frm, a2_portrait.frm) via visual studio or excel. Do I use IpfcSheetOwner.SetSheetFormat() ??? How would I use it?   Maybe an example with a button that when clicked would setup a current active session .drw file with a a2_portrait.frm format. That would help a lot   Thanks anyone.

I have a mashup which has table in it.For a design reason it is displayed as dividers and text boxes - not as GRID.This table has 7 rows and 6 columns.I want to bind the data from a service directly into it text boxs.As far as I know, you can only bind infotable to grid.The only solution I currently have is to add 7 services which each one of them retreive data for a specific row.Are you familiar with a better way, as I see it waste of calls to the server.Thanks in advance.

hi,i was trying to run Creo 3.0 academic version on Amazon Web Server, it's a Windows Server 2016 system. Hardware requirements are reached. Running on single Xeon E5 processor, I installed Creo and license without any problem, but when I try to open it, it said it's a student licenses and does not have feature for floating license. It's there a way to apply for floating education license? Because running on Amazon gpu optimized server should save a lot of time and we actually got sponsored by them. We also tried distribut computing, but I don't think academic version support it.‌

Hi, I had creo student and tried to renew my student licence, but it hasn't worked and there's nowhere in the "my account" tab on the PTC website to renew the licence. I require it to work on a university project from home but can't get the account recognised, it gives me an error message when I use the PDF explaining how to do it. Is there any other assistance available? Thank you!
