More specifically, I am trying to better understand how to fix broken imported models (IDD, surfacing, etc), and cannot figure out a way to just close a series of surfaces that make a clear and definite shape.  The fill command seems only to work with 2D sketches.  Same with Extrude.I have attached an example of a closed boundary curve that I would like to know how to make into a surface.  Any ideas?Thanks!This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I am trying to solve a symbolic inequality with multiple variables.  I can't seem to get a solution in general when I have explicit constants in the constraint that contain decimal points.  How do I go about solving such problems?

Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? After converting from 5.3 to 7.0 I found, when editing a table, I am getting an odd error when I attempt to use the editmenu.cf item Table->Modify Borders... . The message states: "[A30355] IDispatch error #8960 evaluating script: ??" where the first word is IDispatch (leading I) and the ?? is generally a short string of Unicode characters that looks like random memory data.After selecting OK on the error dialog a variation of the previous Modify Cell Borders (now named Modify Borders) dialog does come up however, the preview portion of the dialog does not have a preview displayed and I cannot change border settings for my table.

In windows 7, if I open AE 7.0 by double-clicking the editor.exe file directly from it's directory (I am using the x64 version) I can then open the Help->About PTC Arbortext Editor menu item without issue.If, instead, I open a command window (cmd.exe) and then open the AE 7.0 application (editor.exe) from that window the Help->About PTC Arbortext Editor menu item will show an error. It is due to the use of an ActiveX component to fill the text space on the panel.Is there any way to open AE from a command window so ActiveX error will not occur? I need this method of activation when setting up my customer.

One of our business units has Creo parameters which are basically classification attributes.They want to be able to send these attributes to PartsLink on a save of the Part from Creo to Windchill (using Auto-Associate).I don't see any options within Windchill or PartsLink to enable something like this to occur.Does anyone know if this is even possible or are we going about this the wrong way?Thanks in advance for any advice.

I was wondering if it was possible to change the behavior of the MMB? Hello Creo community!   I have encountered something interesting. Firstly, I have changed my default drawing font to a system font (Century Gothic), and everything has been working fine until today. I needed to print a drawing of some geometric tolerances so I used the geometric tolerance tool. However, when I print the drawing on the company printer, there is a slight error when using MMC. This error goes away only when the default font (named "font", at least for us) is applied. (See the attached picture, which is a picture of the printed drawing). The lower DRFs came out fine and, looking at the upper DRFs, the bottom one of the pair was switched to the default font and printed correctly. The red circle contains the error. I'm trying to create a silent install for Creo 2.0 M160 and all the client side components.  I'm getting an error on the CreoView Express install:Invalid Switch - "/vADDLOCAL="ALL""The syntax for calling the installer in my batch file is:start /w "\\server\creo_install_files\creo_2_m160\pvx32_64\CreoSetup.exe" /vADDLOCAL="ALL" /qnThis matches what is in the install guide for Creo 2.0 M080.  I do not have the install guide for M160, but the install guide for Creo 3.0 F000 shows the same syntax. In the attached Prime worksheet I am trying to use the "logical or" function within a nested if statement. I believe the error is due to db being a 1x1 vector. Is there a way to convert this from a 1x1 vector to a scalar value?

I have 3 main mashups, and I want to know how long it takes each one of them to load.So far, I have tried two things:- Logging a message when the "Loaded" event is triggered by my base MashupThis does not work because teh event is triggered when the mashup layout is finished loading, but not before all other mashups on the screen are loaded- Logging messages when the "ServiceInvokeComplete" event gets triggered at the end of each service that gets called by my MashupThis is triggered when the Service has been invoked, but does not trigger when the service is finished executingIn this case, I am using a repeater and i get the logging message as soon as it is called, but i still see things appearing on my screen as the repeater finishes executingMy application is not performing as well as it should be. I'm fairly new to Mathcad (Prime 3.1) and I generally use a spreadsheet program to develop my calculations. I'd like to start converting my spreadsheets to Mathcad sheets, but this hasn't been easy due to the fundamental differences between each program. I'm trying to respect this is much as possible, but I'm having a hard time seeing crossing the bridge between the "excel method" and the "Mathcad method".The table on the second sheet ("Evaluation of Reinforcement Rupture") of the attached XLSX file is basically what I'm trying to recreate in Mathcad. I intend for the user of the Mathcad sheet to make adjustments to this table as needed (adding/deleting rows, changing the value under the "Type" column, etc.), however the formulas for each cell will remain the same.  I've looked at Excel Components, Matrices, Tables, etc., but I'm hitting a wall in the sense that I'm not sure if there is even a comparable approach for Mathcad.
