Hi, I can't find out what am I doing wrong with my chain assembly model. End links and main links are assembled with MDX assembly constraints and flexible dimensions. At assembly level, all these dimensions are controlled by relations and parameters. And these parameters are declared flexible in the chain assembly model. Up to this point everything works fine : when I change parameters, everything regenerate as expected in the chain assembly model.     When I integrate this chain in another empty assembly, the first link of the chain does not regenerate correctly when I change the flexible parameters. I don't know what to call this thus the horrible title. When I right click on a part in an assembly I get a bunch of actions listed out. Hi there. I am using the structure compare tool and I'm confused. In my CAD structure I have a Creo part 12345. Creo part 12345 has an associated WTPart 12345 with an "owner" relationship. When I go to the Creo part's structure page and use the compare tool, there is a blank line on the right where the WTPart should show up. I know the WTPart exists and I know that it is associated to the Creo part. Why would it not show up?Thanks for the help.

I recently had a hard drive failure. When I got my computer back from IT, I was no longer able to use AAX (Advanced Assembly Extension) and ISDX (Interactive Surface Design Extension).My IT person insists that he installed the same license file.Is there a separate license file for these modules? Would he have had to install these modules separately? Is there a way to tell which modules are installed / licensed? Hi.I'm trying to output a vector based on a vector made by range variables. I'm not sure how to start this so any help is appreciated.My input vector 5x1 and I want one output vector to give me a 3x1 one vector based on values in my vector which is bigger than value a and one output vector which is smaller than a. See attached for more info.I can kind of solve it but I want the output vectors to be 3x1 and 2x1 vectors with no zeroes.Thanks in advance!

Hello,My item has kind of composit primary key. Combination of 4 fields make my Item unique. Somehow duplicate checking functionality offered by Integrity is not helpful or not working for me.I created Unique Name field, and populated this field via pre-triggers. Now before I commit this item, I would like to check uniqueness of this calculated string but I do not find any direct call to get items based on string value. Neither the query is allowing to dynamically substitute parameter and execute.What would be best suggession or solution in this case for duplicate checking?Thanks for reading my post,RegardsAdhik

Hello all,I have been looking for how to create and use macros with ACL fuctions in Arbortext Help centre but it seems it doesn't have much information about it.I have found the description of each ACL function in "Arbortext Command Language Reference", however, it didin't really say where and how to create .mcf files and where to use it.Can you please suggest me where to find the information? or give me instruction for how to create and use macros with ACL?Kind regards,Tomomi

Creo2_setup crashes right after I enter my username and password and it has to make the Application Selection. A fresh download of the application did not solve the problem either!Please help

We are now trying to handle a contact problem between spheres.First question is what kinds of algorithm is used in Creo simulate. hi every one,i just trying to copy the cad Doc from one product to another then the error is coming while pasting in another product.error says that " the cad or dynamic document can only be pasted to project from library or product"?

Hi,I am wondering about how is the best way to make a document review in integrity.Our first idea was to use the change request and change order mechanism, but it seems to complex for this task.Now we are thinking to use to comment fields for every item, one to describe the findings, the other to describe the decision.After the revision we baseline (or check in??) the document. Both comment fields should be deleted with a script (to be written) for the next review.Is there any other way to make reviews on a simple manner?btw.: in 10.5 exists a new function called Create Review Session. While working the creo seems that loses connection with the Windchill server and asks to work in offline mode, as several open support tickets but still can not solve the problem.

Hello,Would like to know why Welding Application is displayed in Part mode. Currently there is no supported feature to copy multiple test sessions. Is there a workaround for this, perhaps a trigger a custom user action I could develop? Any ideas would be appreciated.   Specifically, I'd like to select multiple test sessions and copy them with the same or default fields (doesn't really matter, will be batch edited later).

I have a situation where I need to add sketched lines onto the formed surface of a cylinder shaped sheetmetal part. Then I need to unbend the part to create the flat pattern for our manufacturing plant. The problem is, when I unbend the part, the sketches don't follow and stay on the surface. They either fail or are left floating in space. I also tried the reverse approach. I unbent the part first, added the sketches in the flat, then inserted a bend back feature. In this experiement, the sketches were suppressed in the formed version, and resumed in the flat pattern instance. This failed as well. Attached are screenshots to illustrate.Does anyone know how to accomplish this? If I run this command in mksAPIViewer, I get an exception. If i just run the simple CLI it works fine. Any idea how I can troubleshoot this? Is it a server configuration thing? Is there somewhere to post enhancement requests to Creo? The Measure command is really frustrating to use. Anyone familiar with using SolidWorks measure command where you can show dual units, not have to Cntl+click, not have the measurement show up behind the toolbar, not switch between measurement types? Also, SW has someplace for service requests, enhancement requests, etc. Does Creo have this? Obviously, it'd be naive to just say make everything like SW, but I really wish Creo would take a cue from SW on this front.
