Hi to all!I successfully import cad part and assembly on my workspace in winchill. I just wondered With all the files checked in,why all the CAD files are not in their 3D thumbnails? Thanks in advance!

I installed Creo 3 with the provided license key, and I'm getting this error when trying to run it. I'm not really sure how to fix this.

I have been able to create a half section by using the 2D cross-section>Half sectioned area but I can't seem to get a broken section line in the referance view. Will CREO not do this or am I missing something?CREO parametric 3.0Thanks for any help.What I did.The result.What I am wanting.

New Windchill Administrator here...A colleague of mine created several Products but I can't tell what context they were created in. Are they at the site level or in a particular organization. I thought clicking on the info button might show it but no luck. Is there any visual representation of the relationships between contexts that I can use? Like this one that is on the Learning Connector?

I have been trying to get pro engineer student wildfre 5.0 to run on an hp pavilion laptop running windows 8I have been trying in other laptops too and It isn't working. (sometimes it is shown as running in task manager but doesn't appear on screen. Sometimes it flickers splashes the screen a bit and announces incompatability with display.Can anyone explain what I need to do? The licence is run through school subscription. They suggested that ptc community might be able to help.I'd be grateful for assistance.Paul Shearer

I need the Difference between two dates by excluding Weekends.I used "weekdaysDiff" function its is failing when I gave First and Last date as Weekend Dates .or when I gave any one value as Weekend.Thanks

Hello,My program calculates several series of input data. I want to store all the outputs in an excel file. Is there similar function to "Appendprn" for excel file?Thank you.

Can someone please clarify how I list the 'as stored' version of a drawing's references?For assemblies I can use the structure browser. For drawings the only thing I'm seeing is the References section of the Related Objects tab. Unfortunately this only shows the Latest Version.I can manually add the drawing to a workspace with the config spec. set to 'as stored'. There has to be a way to display this without adding to workspace.This is with Windchill PDMLink 10.2 M020. Thanks.

When I go to the layers window, there's already a whole bunch of layers there. So many that finding layers I've created is somewhat tedious - which seems to defeat the purpose of having layers...... at least as far as I understand them. I haven't seen any filter options that help.I've been looking for more info/tutorials but no luck.Am I missing something or that's just the way it is?Thanks,Dan Holt#7300

I'm trying to remember what this is called to no avail.I have a drawing of an assembly. In the top view I want to show the interior in more detail by hsving a sketched hole in the top plate. What I have is a bushing from a customer with slots and holes in it. the holes and slots are dimensioned in the "unfolded" detail view of the bushing. I was wondering (being new to Creo) if there was a way to model the flat view and then "wrap" it"?Thanks In advance.Scott

Hi, I chaged my domain name and reinstall the Windchill PDME 10.2. The Installation and configuration was successfull but when I try to open my windchill in client I get an error. The page cant be displayed.The remote device or resource won't accept the connection.The device or resource (mycompany.mydomain) is not set up to accept connections on port "hosts2-ns".Anyone knows how to fix this problem?Thanks!

I've been trying to get lengthy footnotes to split and run onto the next page's footnote section when outputting to PDF. The reason for this is that I've got footnotes with a lot of text in them, and they are just pushing up the rest of the page's content to the extent that it looks completely unbalanced. By default, Arbortext keeps footnotes on the same page as their references, however I've acquired an APP-template that should enable footnote splitting. Unfortunately it isn't working. I've attached the template to this question. If anyone with APP-template knowledge could take a look and let me know what's missing/incorrect it would be much appreciated!

Hi, new to Creo, trying out creo elements direct express.Whenever I try to apply a blend to the above edge I get this error:"Could not create new or effected blendsCreation method (preference intersection) failedThe blend surface would not fit in the adjacent faces of the edgeFallback method (preference ontanfaces failed)The blend could not be integrated as a closed area"any suggestions for a solution? All,I have spend many hours trying to figure out how to change a Datum Plane feature in the drawing mode; such as, verifying the older Datum plane option is active, etc,.....In a model and drawing mode, the Datum Plane feature behavior is different.In the model mode, I have 3 options for a Datum Plane feature as shown below.While in the Drawing mode, I only 2 options Trying to present the Datum Plane on the drawing using the older version. in the image below, I want to use the type on the left NOT the right.
