Hi. One year ago I installed CREO 2.0 as a drawing tool in studies of mechanical engineering at the URV (Universitat Rovira i Virgili). Now the license has expired. I have the possibility to extend this license ?? Or should I BELIEVE uninstall and reinstall again ?? Thank you

I have installed creo 3.0 using the steup.exe file. When I go to open the software, it says "License Request Failure". Does the License have to be located in a particular directory in order for the software to locate it? I have a feeling the software is looking at a my previous lecense for creo 2.0.

Hello Everyone,Is it possible to create a relation between two different parts. For example , suppose I have created two different parts each having a hole of say 10 mm and 12 mm diameter respectively. Hi. I have the problem presented in the attachement. I need to replace the value of the determinant of the second expression with B, to make it simpler. I've tried with "explicit, B" but it doesen't work. How do i do that? Thank you

Hi,When I check into Mathcad help, in the controls section, I can read this: “When you open a worksheet, Mathcad re-initializes all of the controls contained within the file. As a result, Mathcad may reset certain controls - typically, list boxes - and thus not preserve their saved state.” I wanted to know if it is possible that a control (list box or check box) would not be re-initialized each time a worksheet is opened. I would like to have the state of the control saved. Is there a script line who could do that?Thanks a lot!

Hi Eveyone,   This is my first post here so please go easy on me.   I use Creo 3.0 and would like production to use Creo View Express 3.0 for model interogation, freeing up resources in the design office.   Although this, in my opinion is a good idea I am unable to display axis or planes for native Creo files in view express. When I am detailing parts on drawings, the dimensions that have lost their references or "fallen off" are the same colour as the regular attached dimensions, so I get no "at a glance" warning of problems until I have printed the drawing out - where the unattached drawings show as thick black lines. Is there a way of changing the colour to highlight the unattached dimensions on screen? I thought this feature was hard coded in the software and they are generally purple but... alas, it is not can someone please steer me in the direction of changing the colours. Hi,I am facing a problem in SQL Database server. Whenever any user tries to upload a document/drawing, they are getting an error as transaction log for database is full.Could you please help me out to rectify the problem? Hi Guys,As usual I tried to start my Windchill my starting the apache server, followed by starting Windchill shell and typing 'Windchill start'. I realized that only server manager started and method server did not start. I check the PTC community and found the solution. I started the LDAP server and reexecuted all the steps and is working fine now. I still didnt get a clear picture of the Windchill architecture and the purposes of the servers.Please explain me the purpose of Method server, Server Manager and LDAP Server in windchill application. Good Afternoon,I am running a PTC integrity client on a linux box,I am trying to set up an automated build/unit test systemI have the initial set of scripts running interactivly from the command line, and I can run them from cron as long as I am logged into the Integrity server from some process on the box.I really do not want the script to be dependant upon me being logged in and connected (for instance I would like this script to work after a reboot, when i may not be able to immediately re log in.I'm not sure if this is a quirk of our system, but the integrity Client does not use the authentication from the operating system (although it appears to use the enterprise authentication), so after starting the gui client one needs to provide username and password credentials. This is problematic from a command line job that runs periodically.My question is, does anyone have any ideas for a secure manner to run the integrity command line client unattended (from a cron job) ?Thanks, & h

Is it possible to include parameter constraints when using genfit? If so, how is it implemented?I need to fit a non-linear equation (Richards function) and genfit crashes with the current setting. In Wildfire you could highlight the dimension and adjust it using by grabbing the end of the line. In Creo I can’t figure out how to do this? I think this is someplace in Dimension Properties. Hi folks wondering if you can help me? I am using mathcad to solve polynomial equation. I have attempted the question and wanted to see if the question is correct and I am doing what is asked of me. I have to solve it in two different ways other than graphical. I have tried to solve it this way first. Basically h(x)=6 to four decimal places. The answer is in the uploaded file. Would be grateful for some insight.b) Using MathCad solve the polynomial h(x) = 6 using at least two different methods other than graphical, giving your answers to 4 decimal places........ h(x)=x4-x3-19x​2-11x+30

Does anybody know if there is is simple way how to assign mathcad result from matrix to excel specified cell. I got formated excel table which I want to fill in certain cells with results. I enclosed the simplified file where is easy to understand which result should go to which cell. Any tip is really appreaciatted. Thanks for help. David
