Hi all,Harder question than the last one. I am working with documents and need to pull out the same info as when you export it to Word. I can find everything but the Section number, i.e. 1, 1.1, 1.1.1, etc. ("Section" is what is shown in the GUI when editing).I used "im fields --fields=name,type,description" to get a list of all field names in our system and then used a Python script to send "im issues --fields="xxx"" for every field name that im fields returned. None of the returned info was the section number. It has to be in there somewhere since it is shown in exported documents?I was thinking I could maybe use im exportissues but then I found this in the documenation "For documents, the Section field is not exported." which seems to shoot down that idea. (Tried it anyway, docs are correct...)Would appreciate any suggestions.Thanks,EricPS any better documentation than the CLI Reference for Workflows and Documents and the man command line?

I have a file "master" xml that references other xml files (of different types, different pattern depending on the type of document). From this file, I run a command that generates the ACL of each PDF file.My question is, is there a way from Arbortext Editor to assemble all these PDF files into a single PDF file?Kind regardsDavid

Hi all,Just started to work with the CLI for Integrity 2009 and I can't figure out how to get just the history for an item. im viewissue --showHistory 75941 includes the history with a bunch of other info, any way to get just the history info for the item?My end goal is to get the history for every ID in a document which I would do by looping over the IDs in the document, is there a more elegant way to do this?Thanks,Eric

I am re-creating the appendix C of calculations to size a flare system, however I can't seem to get MathCad to correctly solve for my variable. I've swapped out units and values but I still don't get the correct answer.I have uploaded the output from MathCadHowever, the answer I am supposed to get is d=0.468 m. Not too sure how to make mathcad only give me the positive answer though.

Hi,I'm trying to copy a surfacing toolpath using the "copy" and "paste special" function but I'm ending up having to redefine every reference to EVERY entity on my model. Does anyone know how I can copy the tool path with maybe only having to redefine the walls, floor and corner radii references? Recently dowloaded and installed the 30 day trial of creo.However once installed it does not seem to be working correctly.When I open up the program and try to create a new part, i only have a blank white screen where the workspace should bedoes anyone here know the reason for this?Perhaps some system requirement is not met?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi Folks,I have a datamerge setup that requires an XSL to structure the result set. Currently the path must be hard coded to something like C:/DataMerge/Transform.xsl for it to work. I would like to keep the XSL file within the custom folder structure in Arbortext - so is ther a way to use a system variable instead? Hi MathCad Community,I've been trying to write a few user defined MathCad functions. I've been successfully developed and tested a few functions purely written in C++. However I also have a few functions already implemented in C# and I have converted them into managed dll, and registered them through regasm.exe and imported them into C++ dll. Works fine on development machine, but on a test machine, MathCad says "External component has thrown an exception". I have no idea where this problem is rising, and I would greately appreciate any help.I have attached a few files, they are a copy of my C# project files and C++ dll files.Thanks,Maryam

I have a part that has three states.Flat PatternFlush Flange on a Flat.As installed.Is there a way to do a partial bend back on just the flanges and leave it in the Flush Flange on a Flat for the drawing? One of our purchasing agents wants a tool that will allow him to view .stp and .stl format files that he often receives as an engineer cc’s him in an email conversation with a supplier for a RFQ. At this stage the engineer is typically whipping up “what if” scenario parts in Pro/E, sometimes bogus naming for the model (not a real P/N yet), maybe getting a part made via a rapid prototype shop. Often the source Pro/E model hasn’t been checked-in to Commonspace. I’d like our buyer to use Creo View since it will be what he uses with Windchill when we bring purchasing online with Windchill – trying to keep the “view cad models” function to one tool. However, Creo View running standalone will open .stp files but not .stl . I tried e-drawings and oddly found it will open .stl but not .stp . I have setup the account notification in windchll 10.0 to send the users an email when a user locks their account (entering the wrong password). The notification is sent to the user, is it possible to also have that notification to be sent to another static email address? This would be used to monitor failed logins for security purposes.ThanksDwight

I'm hoping someone can help me understand some changes in Arbortext 6.0. We updgraded from 5.3 to 6 and despite my efforts to track all the things that got updated, there are some changes that I cannot make sense of. Right now I'm trying to understand the JVM usage of the editor. without any customizations (renamed our custom folder to OLDcustom), when you start Arbortext editor, you get at least 3 processes started: editor.exejava.exejavaw.exein Arbortext 5.3, you only got an epic.exe started. I did some reading and found that the editor will except a commandline argurment "-nojvm" which, according to the admin guide, "Does not initialize the embedded Java Virtual Machine (JVM) when Arbortext Editor starts"However, using this option appeared to have no effect. Am I missing something? Does arbortext editor need to spawn two JVMs? What are each used for?My concern stems from resources. Hi All,   I am modeling a motorcycle frame and was wondering if you can take the 2D curves that I have in my skeleton and somehow apply a datum plane normal to the 2D curve and draw a curve showing the rise in the tube. Can you have one servo rotate in both directions... I have a motor which rotated 180 degrees and then reverses and rotates back to the home position. Hello guys,I see there are a lot of clever people on these forums.There is an assignment I have to hand in real soon and I am stuck on a question which asks me to solve a 2nd order differential equation using laplace and then plot it on a graph.However the problem I am having is that the question asks for one of the initial conditions to be of a range. Thus the graph must have 6 lines.All my forumlas work for when y0 is a single number, but as soon as I make it into a range. I do not get any plot on my graph at all.y0 = 0,1,2,3,4,5Can someone please help?All I need it to do is plot all the 6 lines for different values of y0I have attached my fileit is saved in mathcad 11

I was about to start a simple problem...and bam! Prime2.0 has its own math AGAIN! I am using Version M010 BTW...See attached of the Jacobian! I am sure the jacobian matrix is not 3X1.. and the Jocobian determinent is not 0.Or did they change the syntax for Jacobian ? Oh my god...why would I trust prime 2.0 for any math? It has just way too much problem....come one..it is not the first time...if you have seen my older posts..you know this is not the first problem that I ran into with prime 2.0........................

I'm having real trouble simplying the x and y axis tick labels. I only want integer ticks. Like if I say x is from -2 to 2 then I only want it to show -2, -1, 0, 1, 2 thats it. nothing inbetween, no decimals, just integershere is the MP2 attached worksheet
