Hi there I have some data of depth of 10 inputs  but I need the calculation to start from single point in each input and ignore the one above : for example the starting point of first input is 1.31 but its depth starts from (0) ...so I need the program to ignore all the data from 0 to 1.31 and starts at 1.31.the second input d2 has values from 0.5  I need the program to ignore this values and starts from 1.26 so basically it eliminates all the points before the starting points I decided Prime 10 is attached also the excel sheet  

I have followed the tutorial on this reference topic: https://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/New-to-Creo-and-visual-cosmetic-threads/m-p/986492#M137459  and it worked fine. However when I close Creo and restart the mapkey it is not working anymore.   What did I do wrong?

Hello All,I am currently using AMU and have configured some alarms on the equipment, which are being triggered as expected. However, I’ve noticed an issue with the Alarm Reports. When I apply the "This Shift" or "Last Shift" filters, the alarm count shows as 0. On the other hand, when I select the "Today" filter, the alarm count is displayed correctly. Please help in understanding why the count is not appearing for the shift-based filters?Regards,Aishwarya Patil

Hi! I have a twosome question, as I am in doubt if there a better or more straightforward solutions as what I have done currently:A PTC document where I have a mechanic exercise to calculate reaction forces ("StaticExercise"). I would like to know how to format functions, like an area which overlaps pages. This makes in inconvenient. As well, I am very interested how equilibrium formulas can be formatted and solved.In another exercise ("SteelRodElongation_Exersise"), I have applied an IF function, because I would like that the calculation breaks or stops, so it ends up with 0. Now the calculation gives some strange units at the outcome, at Delta L (if you change σ0.2 to 1 manually. What would you advise? I have formatted the questions/notes in red in the files. Like to hear your thoughts!PTC Version is: 9.0.0.0. Thanks a lot

 

Hi folks,I'm wondering if it's possible manage elements that era created using the "Prismatic Elements" control.   It doesn't feel the other control on the geometry like "Maximum element size" or also the general Mesh setting as Max aspect ratio.   If you see the attached pic, where I've marked the two red brackets, I can't set the Wedge depth.   At the moment I work around this issue with the addiction of much volume regions (second pic attached). I'm working on a project that requires the fetching of pvz from thingworx flow. I used the following actions to do so: get structure to fetch BOM, a loop to iterate on each element of the array fetched with the aformentioned action and a get content to fetch pvz. The issue is that the fetched pvz are almost empty. Is there another way to fetch pvz?Thanks in advance

Hello all. I have the following setupMES OPC DA <-> MES Kepware UA server <->  DeltaV Kepware UA server <-> DeltaV OPC DA Been getting the following messages on 1. MES Kepware UA server: OPC UA client | Failed to add subscription for device. | Status = 'Timeout trying to perform the operation.' 2. DeltaV Kepware UA server: OPC DA client | Read request timeout on device. Been causing the MES OPC DA to fail opc read/write operations randomly. Anyone has encountered these before and can provide advice on how to troubleshoot or resolve this?

During test execution, when the last step is marked as passed, the entire test run is automatically closed. However, there should be a verification process in place to ensure that the system doesn't allow the test run to close unless all steps, including those prior to the last step, have passed. I would like to request a change where Retina checks if all steps, not just the final one, are marked as passed or failed. The test execution should not be closed if at least one step is still incomplete or failed, even if the last step is marked as passed or failed.

As per the original post.    Hi BenLoosli,   In one of my project I have to update the assignee and reviewer details on drawing. So we are using the format to update this  for new also we are using format. Now to update the required parameters on drw. We are using Custom delegate. But seems like there is a glitch like sometime it is working fine and sometime it is not but in creo I can see the parameters with correct values. So I am not understanding why it is happening.    

I am using ThingWorx Platform Release 9.5 and DatecodeSP5What installer should be downloaded for Thingworx Foundation for use with Oracle? I see one download specifically for ThingWorx PostgreSQL and one for ThingWorx Mssql. I do not see a general "ThingWorx Foundation" installer or one specifically for Oracle.Client wants to install Windchill and Thingworx/Navigate, utilizing the same DB engine (Oracle).

I want to create a groove around the internal bore of a component, for an oil groove, the drawing dimensions show the start and end points as the same, so a continuous loop, but the groove moves along a helical sweep to its position 180 degrees from start, then returns to the origin.  Ive been looking at curves from equations to create the sweep profile, but struggling.  Attached a pic of the groove.

Preferred architecture is EC2 (Windchill App server) and an RDS instance.Description: Looking for clarification on options to install Windchill (13.1) on Amazon AWS/RDS.  The research I've done implies that people have done this, but I've not seen any specifics on how this was accomplished. SQL ServerIn a perfect world, I'd like to be using Microsoft SQL Server on Amazon RDS.  The short of it is that this would allow Windchill and ThingWorx to share a database server (while having their own databases, obviously).  This would also help limit the number of EC2 servers that need manually maintained down the road.  I'm aware that PTC documentation states that "SQL Server RDS is currently not supported".  https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS255536 "Not supported" doesn't mean "won't work", so I've continued down this path for a while.  The issues I've found trying to lever

We had a formula written in Mathcad 15 that solved a range of numbers and gave a solution of the entire range (see image below). When we convert to Mathcad Prime 9.0 only the last number of the range gets solved (second image). We are looking for a maximum throughout the range so this does not help us very much. Is there a way to write the function in Mathcad Prime 9.0 to give similar results to Mathcad 15? Both files are attached.

Hi,I'm using Creo Parametric 9.0.6.0. I'm looking for help finding out the name of the calculated angle dimension in a pattern. I have a part that has a specifiable angle, 90 or 60 (red arrow). I need a different quantity of features (green check marks) depending on the angle of the part. These features must also start a specific distance away from an both inner edges. In order to pattern the features I created a curve (yellow line) at the constant offset from the inner edges (blue lines). In the pattern, my driving items are the curve and the number of features I want the pattern to have. It gives a resulting angle dimension between features (2nd image, red box), I'd like to use that value to show in the family table or show on a drawing. Is there a way for me to link to that value, does it have a name hidden somewhere?

Users are not able to access additional content in their MathCad application - Input/Output > XMCD/MCF converter. Need assistance to determine if this is a licensing issue or an application issue.

ptc creo student version invalid file or format during installation licensing in dell latitude laptop. Can anyone  resolve the issue.

Is anyone else having config control issues with this new Creo+ update? All of our config options pointed to Windchill are broken and half of the others arent working correctly. I know PTC wanted to move all these option to the Creo portal but it seems like alot of things were not accounted for. Having to individually go into each of our company profiles and update the config since the global config option doesn't work is one thing we've run into. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Or workarounds?

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: OpenDJ Control Panel issue.Description: Hi, I'm very much feeling like a noobie with everything related to Windchill DS and now OpenDJ (ver. 4.6.5 on Win Server 2022)... In Control Panel I started encountering issues with accessing the lowest levels of the branches. If I click on them the entries are not shown and the GUI starts asking about Unsaved Changes. When I clicked the save option there's "Error: The entry is not correct. Details: the DN is not valid." I've read the Control Panel may have issues with ldif file encoding, characters etc. Could this be it? Looking at the file contents it seems ok compared to similar from WindchillDS on another server. What to do?
