Hello,For a while I have been using Mathcad calculations using not much data. For the problem (or challenge) I have at the moment I got quite some data. Probably for some real data lovers not that much. From Excel I iimported a sheet that contains about 6 coloums and 4120 rows and the main data is in the first three coloums. From coloum 2 row 16 on I want to extract the data with defined in steps of 16 rows for 256 times and put that in a new matrix/ vector. So the first value I want to extract is c2r16, followed by c2r32...c2r48...c2r64...etc. The data is available in the Excel format which I imported into Matchcad with the READFILE command. The arguments rows and cols only accept a single value or a range via a vector. This range cannot be anything like: 1,3,5,7. I succeeded at the moment, but this is slow (see attached file) and the data is in a function array (?). In the example I decreased the steps to 16 to speed up stuff. Thanks for the help!!Mark

In Proe 4.0, enter the "Independent geometry", there is a command "Geometry==>Collapse Geometry", but in Creo 1.0, I can't find it, Can anyone kindly help me?

I do not know what I clicked on, but all of the parts in the assemlby except one disappeared.Can someone help me? I have a fully parameter-driven spur gear model that I would like to turn into a compound gear. That is, I want to duplicate all the relations and geometry of the original gear (attached to the "back" of the original gear) and be able to vary the parameters of the second gear. My main problem is that I am a new proe user and don't have much experience with this kind of thing. Is feature copy/paste the way to do it? It's awfully quiet in here lately!! I was wondering how many have switched to Creo 2.0 for manufacturing and how well you like it? I have it loaded and have been testing it. It seems to be fairly intuitive and easy to use. I started using creo and floefd on a different computer and I noticed that when I tried to change views there was no right side, front side, top, and bottom views. Hi,I'm trying to use a the symbolic solve function to rearrange an equation and solve for a variable, but I'm having trouble because the answer is a vector with units. Example: given the area of a circle, find the radius. I enter:A:= 3.14 cm^2(A = pi * r^2) solve,r->and it spits out a column vector (displayed here as a row vector)... -> (1cm, -1cm)and I want to set that to another variable, say, R1, so I now have: A:= 3.14 cm^2R1:= [ (A = pi * r^2) solve,r-> (1cm, -1cm) ]R1= (1cm, -1cm) I know it can only be the positive value, so I want to pull that value out:R2:= R1[0 this gives me an error: R1 is red and the hover text reads "this value must be an array"How can I set a variable to be the positive radius? (R= 1cm)(I know I could just rearrange the equation here for the radius in the first place, but I want to keep it clear where I got the equation from. Also, this is just a simple example and I'd want to do it with something more complicated and want to avoid an algebra mist

Is there a way to insert page numbers into a Mathcad 15.0 file? If not, is there a way to determine which page is which?

Hopefully this is a simple one just before a holiday.I have a table that I update everyday to correct the date for the current (today's) date.I use is up to 30X per day, so I save it to reduce the re-entering of the date.Is there a way to save the table with a field or parameter so that when I bring it back in, it will automatically put in today's date?I have done this before with sheet set ups, but not with a specific table.Thanks,Dale

The Data Sheet for Mathcad prime 2.0 specifically says it allows you to "Save as XPS and PDF"How? I can only see options for MCDX and XPS. Where is the option for PDF?

Have numerous callouts that have the part name and the "long version" of the part number, i.e.WASHER(01-030, 79-21-11)would like to have a way to click on the callout, hit a macro or hit a button that quickly changes to the "short version" of the part numberWASHER(01-030)It will always be the same pattern. Our company is a new Pro Engineer customer.One of the reasons we decided to go with Creo Parametric is that we have seen the capability of it in placing rounds that meet at the partingline that cross dis-similar drafted halves.Unfortunately we've not been able to duplicate this on our own. It appears there is much versatility that our Precision LMS training does not cover in regards to Transitions.When placing the round we are able to get 1 set per side to drop in, but they do not meet at the partingline. The given transition options don't appear to include anything that meets appropriately at the partingline. If I'm not mistaken you should be able to get rid of the unwanted transitions and add your own custom transitions.We have tried using variable radii to get a closer match to each side, but this didn't give any new transition possibilities and the given ones still don't work.It would be nice to be able to just drag an edge to meet the edge from the opposite side of the partingline

Is there a convienient way to add cross-hairs to the center of the radius feature in an internal slot for a drawing? The way I have been doing it is very cumbersome and does not always look good. HI all Hope you can help with a little problem I am having using ProE Wildfire 5, I am a new user to ProE after using SW for a number of years. The problem I have is that the Part above is made up of multi-boded components and welded together. I can only explain how to do this in SW sorry for that, but I would simply right-click on the feature I just created and un-tick merge bodies to show the components as separate parts within the same part file and then I would just add welding details. Am I just missing the tick box to show solid bodies unmerged or do I have to draw the components separately then create assembly of the parts?Can you please just explain how ProE handles parts like these as this makes up the bulk of my work.Thanks. Hello, I want create a Scatterplot with 5000 2d-data in Mathcad Prime 2.0. I used a x-y-diagramm, but it's impossible to change the linestyle and the symbols.I wonder about this, because it works with less than 5000 data.

Does anyone know why some features can't be grouped? I have a number of features for which the 'group' option is unavailable, even when those features are selected on their own. Is it something to do with external geometry? So far I've only noticed this on copy features which reference external geometry, some sketches and some extrusions.Thanks

What-up! I have something set in config.pro where sketch features stop snapping to references.What could be set to cause this problem? Bug?Creo 2.0The config.pro file is attached. Load the config.pro in a dummy folder and set this dummy folder as a start directory in the creo shortcut.Start Creo and create a new part and select any datum for a sketch.Try attaching a line or rectangle to the two reference lines.
