Hi,I have wildfire 5 given to me by the school, and I have the schools license, I would like to install parametric 3, how can I do this (I am also in a high school, not a university or colleague. So I can't use http://www.ptc.com/company/community/download/ to get creo 1).Thanks guys.

Ok, see my image, picture is a thousand words. I'm new. I searched discussions and help file, went through all the settings I could find. Well my dimensions are not showing? If I click on a dim line the pull arrows and the dim box pop up with the correct dim but in normal view they do not show. Any idea? How to import pdx format file into windchill ??

I have a tolerance note that is on several drawings. Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, wir haben unserem Windows Server R2 eine neue Netzwerkkarte hinzugefügt. Wenn wir nun über lmgrd.exe –c [Lizenzpfad] den Lizenzserver starten wollen, schlägt es fehl, da immer die neue Netzwerkkarte vom Tool cpu_id.exe genommen wird. Auch wenn man die Priorität ändert (siehe Link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894564/de) so wird immer die neue Netzwerkkarte beansprucht. Nur wenn die neue Netzwerkkarte deaktiviert wird, wird alles sauber ausgeführt. Wie kann ich das Problem lösen?

Dear allI am timely user of MATHCAD.I have clarifications in the Equations solve.In the attached file using the find function i got single point,answer,however one more point answer does not displayed.For equations solve FIND,SYMBOLIC VARIABLE SOLVE,(USING ARROW MARK SYMBOL AVAILABLE IN TOOLBAR) i.e more than 5 options are available.In other image file attached by giving input value as a sin(theta) the solve function does not solve.However if the numerical value given, the function is being solved.For my application what is the exact command to be used,also to know other options applications.Thanksprakash

OK, so I need to check whether the object is acceptable for further actions which means:Object is a matrix, all I care is that it has more than 1 row and more than 1 column (type 1).Object is a vector (more than 1 row), its elements are type 1 objects of the same size (type 2).Object is a vector, its elements are type 2 objects not only of the same size, but also all the type 1 objects within are of the same size (type 3).In the same fashion we can define type 4, type 5 and so on indefinitely.I hope you get the idea.I'm pretty bad at recursion, but I tried, see project.xmcd . I'm trying to understand the working files behind the scenes of Creo 1.0. I understand the config.pro, however there are detail options available for the .prt files. If you go to File > Prepare > Model Properties > Detail Options and click on change, a file comes up similar to what the config.pro looks like, however none of the settings in this file referece back to the options that I have set up in my config.pro. I have a parameter (string) controlled by an external file ( using restricted_val_definition option ).No problem if I change the parameter value directly using the drop-down menu in the parameter panel. But if I change the value in "Relation panel" for special conditions IF ... parameter_name =="value" ENDIFProE doesn't change the parameter and an error comes up !The name "value" is typed correctly .Same problem with other types of Parameters (number ,...)I tried with WF5 and Creo1.Any idea ?Thanks a lot Pier This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello!I created two types of hatching in the file "Hatching_new.iso". One of them is "Type 1" - copied from the template file "DefaultHatchings.iso" in Arbortext IsoDraw 7.1 M070 (located on the path: C: \ Program Files \ PTC \ Arbortext IsoDraw 7.1 \ Program \ Patterns), a second type of "Type 2" - created new and, thus, does not work. Why is hatching "Type 2" does not work properly when hatching a closed object?

Is there a way to have a program return a message but then continue executing? For example, in the attached program I want it to print the message "The ball does not reach the basket" but continuing executing rather than stopping, as happens with "return".

Attached is a Mathcad sheet I am working on and am having a brain "fart" on trying to finish a simple find value function. I have written an equation to spit out the top value so that it can be looked up in a chart and spit out the value below it.I just need a little help

I am trying to create a MathCad sheet to, as elegantly as possible, graph the titration curve of a n-protic acid versus an m-protic base, as an intellectual exercise I've always wanted to do and to explore MathCad's possibilities.I have two series terms in my final equation. The series are not infinite. They are equal to the number of protons donated or accepted.I have two arrays where I store the required number of functions, so I only have to have one solution and graph. To get a different graph, I only have to update ionization constants, the number of protons donated or accepted, and the function arrays.But MathCad won't take my array of functions as functions. Clearly they are just constants. I have created a solid feature by merging quilts. When I try to mirror the feature, I get a "reference is not in geometry" failure - even though this reference was used to make the solid part. I'm trying to plot the general solution for titrating an n-protic acid with an m-protic acid base. The solution cannot be expressed explicitly.I've poked around in here and the manual but can find anything that really addresses the problem. I tried to find a way to make my function fill in a table and plot the table, but I can't get it to do even that.File attaches as MathCad 14.0 file.TIA.

I'd like to disable them by default, and only turn them on in drawing views when I need them. Is there a way to disable them thru a config option? Hi.Is there a somewhat resonable way to start with a complex nested objects likeand end up with either of thosewhich means that every number existing within becomes zero and every symbol (or string of symbols) becomes some placeholder symbol (I chose '*' for no particular reason).How should I accomplish this?

In the little program attached, I had inf in the if statement where I now have 10^3. When I had inf, the program ground away and then crashed the worksheet. 10^3 is plenty big enough for my case, but then I wondered what good is inf and when is it useful?

Hi I need some help. My company just upgraded to Creo. I am now having an issue with preformance. in a drawing everytime i try to edit a note it takes about 35 seconds to open the properties. while doing this creo becomes unresponsive. after it opens it runs fast again until you try to edit a note. then you have another 35 seconds to wait. I am sure it is not the computer because they are new systems we got and are screaming fast... I have not been having a good experience with Creo. I initially had problems getting it running (due to Quality Agent), and now when I create a new part I have a new issue:Here is Creo Parametric when I open it: And when I start a new part:As you can see, the 'working area' doesn't change.
