Hi Experts,i have a set of data for creating a normal XY graph. However as for the X axis, the data is not in the ascending form. Instead it is descending. the question is how can i perform an interpolation with this arrangement in mathcad. I have the free version of Creo Elements 4.0 installed on my laptop. When I try to sketch a part it dissapears from view as soon as my mouse is moved away from it. Once the part is extruded you can only view it if you click where you think it is and then in disappears again. This makes it impossible to work with. Is this to do with my laptop and is there a way around the problem?My laptop is a 2008 Dell Inspirion with an Intel Celeron dual core processor and 2 gig of RAM. I would be amazed if it had a separate graphics cardbut I can't see what it has. When viewing CGMs in IsoView, at the default size, which sizes the graphic to the viewport, the raster portions of the image is all shuffled. Horizontal portions of the image is "shuffled". If you zoom out to about 50% of the viewport size the graphic looks correct, but none of the text is legible because the graphic is zoomed out too far.   here is how the image is displayed:       Here is a similar portion of the image, how it is supposed to look: (the drawing of the plane is a raster image imported into the CGM, while the black arrows are vector elements in the CGM.)   All the vector elements are positioned correctly, but the raster portions get shuffled depending on the zoom level. This is using the 7.2 evaluation copy of IsoView and being used in IE7. The problem also occurs in IE8.   This problem only to select computers, but all running the same OS (Windows XP). Hello all,I have a question hopefully somene out there can answer for me. We are on Windchill PDMLink 10.0 M020. I had a user today who had created some new designs in Pro/E and saved them to his workspace. He also uploaded them to the server side workspace. I was under the assumption that once objects were uploaded, they could be retreived from the server side even if the objects were removed from the workspace. This was a bad assumption on my part to make. So, what good is the upload if it does not safe guard your objects by placing them on the server?? Hi Is there a limit to the amount of items you can put into one workspace, we have noticed that the larger the workspace the slower it becomes and more java script errors appear. Also with large workspaces windchill 10 will not delete the workspace, you need to go and delete parts from the workspace first to reduce its size, we have a project with 2000 items (.prt/.asm/.drg) how do companys with larger projects cope ?

Hi all,Having just updated one of our standalone workstations to Arbortext Editor 6.0 Build 040, we've noticed that the Completeness Checker now gives us errors for empty tags - which is a problem. (We've still got other stations running 6.0 Build r60m010 without this problem).Background - We're a small shop doing DoD Military XML Tech Manuals using US Army LOGSA DTDs and Stylesheet filesets. During tech manual development, many of our tags (particularly parts data) have empty tags (immature parts data during TM development cycle), but the tags themselves (and some attributes) are required by the DTD.We try to have everyone here diligently use the completeness checker, to ensure that our content is tagged as error free as possible. This is particularly helpful with newer, inexperienced TM developers. Everything runs cleaner that way, from our end and gov't receipt - almost singing Kum-bah-ya.Problem: With Arbortext Editor 6.0 Build 040, the Completeness checker is now flagging hundreds

I am new to Creo. I am trying to figure out why fillets don't offset. Here is what I mean...   1. Create a sketch. 2. Create a rectangle. 3. Fillet each corner of the rectangle 4. Click Offset 5. Select Loop from the "Type" dialog 6. Select one side of the rounded rectangle 7. Type a value for the offset such that the offset is inside the original rounded rectangle and hit enter.   Step 7 yields a "rectangle" for me; i.e. corners are perpendicular not rounded.   If... 7. We have our development and productions systems synchronized with Active Directory. I have e-mail notifications turned off on the developement system to prevent erroneuos notifications to be sent out. I currently have a need ot test notifications and wanted to find out if anyone else has this type of setup and what they do for testing.

Hi there.I am trying to use Mathcad to find the probability of a sinking object hitting the seabed within several rings in 10m intervals.It is quite a simple integration problem using a range of limits.Basically I have a range for the upper and lower limits, r0 and ri, but they are highlighted as either 'not real', or 'need to be a scalar/vector' (Please see attached sheet)I have tried putting the variable limits as either Matrices/Vectors as well as a range, but I cannot get it to work. On the attached sheet at the bottom are the individual workings, but I was hoping to generate a list of answers from one general formula.I am a student and I am very new to Mathcad, I have searched the help section on Matchcad and on this website but I cannot find or think of an alternate way of solving the problem. I appreciate this may be simple and I may not be using Mathcad correctly, but any help, or direction would be much appreciated.Thanks,James

Does anyone know how to change the font resolution when engraving? I use the "font" in the drop down menu which gives the text single line to follow when using a single point tool. The problem from an aesthetic point of view is that when the font gets large say .500"or larger the round curves of say a "0" or "P" ect. get pointed or not a nice round look to them. Is there a way to change the smoothing of the line somehow? Tried to with no luck.Thanks,Jeff

I know this has to be possible. And help is no help.I am importing a lot of parts and the spin center is out in the ozone.How do I relocate the spin center without moving the part...And will that work for the 3D Navigator (3D mouse).On some occasions I can get it to spin on a feature when I use the right hand mouse. Good Evening All,I'm brand new to Mathcad and am having difficulty getting my head around the units synatx.Please see attatched calculation which is fairly simple.In this instance my calculation includes emhirical formulae - so to keep things simple I have decided not to specify any units.However the solve block will not return any results because the 'units are not compatible'. But no units have been used!Any ideas??? Ive spent an hour trying to figure it out now I finally give in!Many thanks in advance.

I'm using Pro E/Elements 5.0.How do I remove an appearance from a part that was applied in an assembly? Hello,I try to use Mathcad to calculate the resistor value in a NPN transistor switch circuit as below:What I have done is as below:1. First I define two variable, Upin which is the output voltage of MCU output pin, and Ube which is the voltage between transistor's base and emitter. Normally these two voltages are constant, but I want to define them as variable that I can reuse this calculation.2. Then I define the equation.3. I provide the initial value of R1 and R2.4. I define the constraint as Ib should be 10mA, and R1 should be equal to R2.5. I invoke the 'find' function to get the value of R1 and R2. But it fails.Attached please find the .mcdx file, could you please help me figure out the cause of this problem? Or let me know what I should do in Mathcad for my case?Thanks.

I'm wondering if there is a better way to create a datum that is centered between two parallel surfaces. I currently measure the distance between the two surfaces then creating a offset datum plane that is the measured distance/2. This however presents a problem if the measured value changes, the created plane is no longer centered. I am new to the world of windchill...just started taking classes, digesting the tons of docs..is anyone using virtualization such that you can create a single instance of a windchill dev environment, designate it as a template, then have the ability to create many "clone" copies of the whole environment (easily?)I am not experienced with server level virtualization, but a vmware contact says that what I want to use for such a purpose is "vSphere with templates and clones"...also, he said I would need to learn how to automate the process so that the clones can be uniquely configured (don't want lots of clones with same IP address, etc.)anyone have any advice? I'm trying to use a program that is used in civil engineering to calculate post lengths for roadway signs. It runs on Mathcad 14. Does anyone know if it will run on Prime 2.0? Multi-Post 2001 Sign Program, v1.21, is a Mathcad 14 program that designs ground signs in accordance with the 5th Edition AASHTO Signs, Lights and Signals Specification.

What am I doing wrong?I am closing Creo Parametric and it always tells me that unsaved data will be lost. I click okay and move on.I put my Dell M6600 to sleep and come back the next day and Creo says the license is unavailable and it tells me that my last session had crashed.2 questions:1. why does Creo do this?2. how do I release the license without rebooting?thanks

I am attempting my first non-trivial mathcad worksheet, and i am a little stuck.I am trying solve a problem where my solve block constraints vary with time. I would like plot the result of the solve block as a function of time. It appears that the solve block will not support this. Can someone please help me figure out a better strategy.The attached worksheet is a sample worksheet that demonstrates what I am trying to accomplish.
