Hi, everybody.First post in these forums.I come here with a simple question.I am using an older version of Mathcad (although I am tempted to download the trial version of the latest version). I would like to output graphs as gif images so that I can include the images in blog posts. How can I do this?The data points have been computed. The associated graphs have been drawn.Now I want just the graph--not the underlying data.I have asked around and somebody suggested that I could use the Print-Screen function in Windows, copy the Clipboard to a Word document or an Image Manipulation software, and then crop the image so that only the graph remains in the image. I don't have PhotoShop. And even if I did, I'd rather not bother installing and learning a new software product just to cut away the data points from an image.Any suggestions?

Hello everyone, i'm a beginner in programming with mathcad. I got 2 problems. First,i must resolve some equations and mathcad give me the error ''cannot understand this syntax'', but i wrote the lines like in the papers , where i go wrong?and second, i got some problems with strings, if anyone could show me where i go wrong please

how to enable creation of jpeg file for the model or asm in proe wf3. Is there any preference or something specific to that ..?

Just wondering if there is a way to tell where a topic is used? Would a CMS tell us which dita maps contain certain topics, if we needed to search for a specific one.eg If we reuse a parts list and illustration from a parts catalog in an instruction, and then update the parts list and illustration in the parts catalog, how will we know that the kit instruction also needs to be updated?ThanksBryon

Hi,I am facing a unique problem and unable to solve it. Would appreciate if someone could help.Ideally the wt part, drawing file and CAD part file all should have the same "Number", "Name" and "File name" in PDM windchill. Its a kind of best practice developed in our company. We also have autogenerated numbers for new files enabled. So if we create a new part, automatically a number is assigned and related drawing file and wt part file with the same number is createdNow with that background in mind, i have a certain part file and its related drawing file. I need an exact copy of the same but with very minor change (maybe a small dimension change). I dont want it to be a family table but want it to be a separate file by itself. So the new required part should have a new number and this same number should be assigned to its related drawing file and wt part file. So if i try to "save as" the drawing file with new auto generated numbers for all the related parts, it does the job BUT now th

Hello,I and my colleagues have to design turning and milling tools, thus we often need to check the shape generated by these tools during machining.As the cutting edges are sometimes not contained in a plane and/or not in a plane containing the axis of revolution of the tool, we cannot simply use the Revolve feature.The easiest way we found is (in WF5) :1. Copy/Paste a cutting edge2. Copy the copied edge3. Paste special with Rotate transformation (10°) around the tool's axis of revolution4. Pattern it every 10°5. Hi Folks. I am attempting to use Pro/BATCH to print drawings to .tif. I am using WF 4.0 becuase WF 5.0 doesn't seem to come with Pro/BATCH (unless they put it in a different place or something?). I already have a printer (PMSLDOCS) that I use when I'm printing in ProE to create a .tif using ProE's built in .tif printer. Does any one know how to limit the participant choices for a workflow task to only those members listed under a role in a product or library container? I know this can be done as I see it done in the "Change Request workflow" where the participants for the task is limited to only those under the "Change Admin I" of the context. I try to do this in my workflow, copying I think every attribute of the "Change Request workflow" into mine to make it just like the CR workflow and it just does not work. It allows me to select anyone in the context - not just those under the role.I am on Windchill 9.1, m050Any help would be appreciated as this is very frustrating.

Hi,I am trying to produce a 2D drawing of assembled hydraulic cylinder but the problem is, it's too long and I am having difficulties to view the sectioned parts in detail. Why doesn't the find function work?Those angles represent the movement of a mechanism when the handle does a 360 degree rotation and I need to calculate those in 36 positions (hence the ten degree difference). Can someone help?(beginner here)

It's often in Physics to treat problems with periodic boundaries, a lineal chain of entities that only have relations with the nearest neighbour. So, if you have 10 elementes numbered from 1 to 10, the element 3 feels actions of element 4 and 2, what happens with element 1 and 10? there is where the periodic boundarie enters. Element 10 must be related with 9 and 1, and element one does with 2 and 10.In writing the code, it's no hard to do this, a couple of "if's" does the work, but what about if you are trying to solve a bidimesional lattice? But first, it may be interesting try to solve the linear chain first. I solved the half of the problem doing:Action(i)=Action(mod(i,10)) [i runs from 0 to 11]'Action' is some kind of function, and I think in a problem with 10 elements in the real chain. You see that the neighbour at the right of 10 is indeed 1, that's ok.But this doesn't work for element 1 .Can anybody try to solve this?

I have installed two Windows 7 64bit machines with Wildfire 5 ( also tried 4) pointing to the same license server with a current MECHANICA license. One machine works in both standalone and integrated mode and the other will not. Ideas?
