Is there a way to turn on, permanently, auto-preview when mirroring in an assembly? I have a probably very simple question. As a result I have a vector with nested values which I want to plt against a vector with numbers which is obviously not possible. How can I convert the nested vector into numbers?

I am working with these things called solubility product constants. They entail working with numbers like 10^-53.The problem is my version of MathCad (MathCad 14) displays numbers less than some magic number as 0.And I really need to see the number in exponential notation, no matter how small. ProE Wildfire 5When I enter a dimension number say .025 and when I go in for Dynamic Edit or Edit Definition the display on the model is .03When I click on the dimension or view it in the collection box it does display the .025It's just very unsettling to see wrong dimentions displayed thinking that I have entered in a wrong value. I looked at the layer rules and didn't see for what I was looking.I want to set up a layer where all hidden components, be it a part or an assembly, reside. The reason I want to do this, is at the end of creating an assembly, I want to "unhide" everything I've hidden in order to get everything assembled. I don't want to have to seartch through the tree and drill through sub-assys to find the hidden culprits.Is there a way to do this? Hello, everyone! Does anybody know how I can set the same style of cross hatching of a part in different drawing views? Every time I make a section on a projection view of my assembly the style of cross hatching of a part is different. So I have to change a distance and an angle of cross hatching in every view of a drawing. By the way, why does Creo put cross hatching line on a view twice? As a result, I have to erase unnecessary lines at first and than correct cross hatching style. I attached picture with my drawing. Dear Mathcad fans,I would like to know which function in Mathcad allows for polynomial factorization and simplification? Please see the attached example. I put a function and a simplified form of it (manually calculated). How to achieve that result with Mathcad?

I am mildly interested in knowing what abstruse, hypercomplex, super-sophisticated reason Mathcad has for screwing up a simple calculation.The equation is this: -1.99*298*ln(x)= -1.85*10^4The equals sign is the Boolean equals. Invoking Solver to solve for x produces an answer that makes no sense whatsoever.Spreadsheet attached as MathCad 12 file. Note below I have solved the problem myself. At least MathCad gets the right answer then.The makers of MathCad do understand their program is being used to build bridges, airliners, and skyscrapers, right?

Alright so I am having some problems with my Mapkeys. I have recently inherited the role of ProE Admin and I have been working with Mapkeys on it for quite some time now. I thought I had them all nailed down and then ran in to a small issue.   I used to have all my mapkeys in the config.pro and it was working great. Well then someone decided to include mapkeys with the same name in their config.win and so it would over ride mine. Then they call and say the mapkeys aren't working right and its just getting old.   What I am trying to do is create a config.sup with some of the mapkeys that are company wide so that they don't get changed. Now the issue I am running into is when I take half the mapkeys out of the .pro and put them in the .sup... they are the only ones that will show when I start ProE. It's like it is completely ignoring anything that is in the config.pro now. If I remove the config.sup then all the mapkeys will show back up.   Can someone please help me with

Good Morning,I have used a very simple program in Mathcad 14 to provide the roots of the intersection of tan(L*0.0127) and L*11.1/66680. An image of the program and reaults is posted. It correctly calculates the first 44 roots and then provides incorrect values for the next few (which causes issues in the series summation...) The guesses I have put in for L are the locations of tan(n/L) = 0.0.I modified the guess ranges several times with no luck, the errors for the higher roots remain...Any Ideas?Thank you very much,H

We have many thousand illustrations without any title visible on illustration to identify them, so is there a way to run batch export with macro that take existing illustrations and add is own file name inside at specific place. How to force Mathcad Prime 2.0 to remove the "i" from the denominator an write the function in the form a + i*b ? I have a function Y(F)=1+i*F. When I take 1/Y(F) and then symbolic evaluation I get 1/(1+ i*F). When I multiply the numerator and the denominator by the complex conjugate of Y(F) I still get the same expression 1/(1+ i*F).Any help will be much appreciated.

We've recently started paying more attention to getting our assemblies to show a green 'traffic light' for regeneration.Usually the yellow light can be traced back to a part, and then to a relation, for no obvious reason.Current example: a part has the relation:WEIGHT=PRO_MP_MASS*1e6 (or 1000000; it makes no difference)Most of our parts have pro_mp_mass*1000, but we have previously had the yellow light where a UDF has imported the old weight=mp_mass("").In fact, with this part, if I change it to *1e3, the light goes green; change it back to 1e6 and it's yellow again. Hi Friends, Is there anybody knows that how to get a program run just only when the worksheet is opened? There are some codes in the TextBox control in the test.xmcd file. When I press Ctrl+F9 button, all the code will be executed again. In fact, I just want them to be executed when I open the worksheet, and then do not let them run even when I press the Ctrl+F9 button. As we know, this function is easy to realized in Excel. I'm in a bit of a quandry over the hole wizard. I've just started my 1st job as a designer and already I've got questions - go figure! When you click on the hole wizard you can choose the size of the tapped hole for a bolt or screw, but can you predefine the dimensions associated with that partiular hole size? Case and point, my company has a standard for 1/4-20 screws that follows this... Screw Dia: .250 Tap Dril: .201 Counter bore: .41 Dia & .26 deep or Counter sink: 82deg x .54 dia.I'd like to go in and edit some predetermined parameters for the standard bolts & screws we use. This may be in the area of very basic surface modeling skills, but I apparently neither have a whole lot of them nor have been able to find the answers to this question elsewhere: I would like to know if there is a way to "grab" 3d edges from surfaces to be used as boundary curves for boundary blends. I know I could use the Curve tool in Style to snap lots of points to a edge to form a curve. And likewise I could use an edge as a reference to place lots of datum points to fit a datum curve through to produce what I am looking for. But I was wondering if there was any other way to grab edges, maybe more akin to the "Use Edge" tool in sketcher, except to produce 3D curves rather than 2D curves on plane as is the case with Use Edge.Does anyone have any advice for me on a more direct way of doing things? At the moment I have a large number of Style features in my model because I have been doing what I describe above in order to create boundary blend patch surfaces. But ultimately fitting c
