Hello, Does anyone know if Creo 8 or 11 will display higher than 1080p. We are getting new offices and are trying to decide on new monitors. Does anyone know if 1440p is worth it from experience when you mainly use Creo?  Thanks in advance, Lex

Hello, When you buy a Creo Licence, they add a creo "home use" licence. If i install this licence on my personal computer, can I make commercial use of it ? But without any link with my employer who purchases the initial Creo license for my work. Concrete example :- I work in a design office of a private company with a Creo license. So i have a "home use" license in addition. On my personal time, the week-end for exemple, on my personal computer (no connection with my employer). Is it possible to design parts, print it in 3D and sell it with self-employed or independent status ? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,I am encountering an issue with importing JT files into Creo Parametric 7.0.12.0 (also tested in Creo 11) that specifically affects parts. During the import process, hyphens ("-") in part names are automatically replaced with underscores ("_"). Interestingly, this behavior does not occur with assemblies and sub-assemblies, where hyphens are retained (please see attached images).Is there a way to disable or modify this behavior so that hyphens in part names are preserved? Perhaps a hidden option in the configuration files (config.pro) or any other solution that someone might know?Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance!Kurt

We have program using Kepware software for talking with PLC. But the program stop every 2 hours as described if Kepware is running evaluation mode. But looking into License utility . License = Good  Are there any logs where to see why ? Windows event logs says nothing....

Hello community,I started playing around with KEPServerEX recently (latest release: 6.16).Datalogger is super simple to configure for basic purposes. Now, I am trying to do some advanced escenarios where data needs to be saved using a stored procedure. Is this possible to accomplish?Before stored procedures, I tried using a dummy SQL view (MSSSQL) with a "INSTEAD OF INSERT" trigger in order to mock the idea to write to a single table but that SQL trigger view is not being fired through Datalogger... The purpose of all this is to have a single Log Group that writes to different tables based on a condition that I define. A simple example that passes information to a SP would be:@action=10, @p1="Hello" -> would write to table "Table1".@action=15, @p1="World" -> would write to table "Table2". Cheers,

We recently stood up a new ThingWorx 9.5.2 server and migrated our data from ThingWorx 9.3.  When we select a Mashup and then Design the Preview does not load.  We get a grey screen with a message that <servername> refused to connect.  We do not see this issue in 9.3.

Hi all, Im trying to change the menu of Arbortext. I am able to see changes in the instance.acl with my dtd files, but can't get the menu to change upon startup (no file loaded). My acl is located in custom/init   function load_menu(){ menu_add -before .File.#15 "Publish PDF and Release Print License" -cmd { compose_pdf(); license_release("PrintPublishing");} } add_hook("menuloadhook", "load_menu");    I also have an environment variable APTCUSTOM created with a pointer to a mapped drive containing the same code. I also tried the simple_init.js to see if it was an issue with acl, but same result (nothing).   Application.alert("Hello from JavaScript");   

I generated a percentage range from 0 to 100% with a step of 5 percent. Since Mathcad did not want to concatenate two matrices generated this way using the augment function, I created a manually entered matrix. Here, a problem arose because the percentage range entered by different methods yields different results in calculations. What mechanism is behind this?

So I was working really hard to be lazy and asked google gemini to make a formula for mathcad. It spit out some results, surprisingly, but it didn't work when I tried to paste it into mathcad prime 9.000. It showed some notation that I have never seen before and couldn't find any documentation saying that mathcad can even use it. See my picture attached. Anyone know how to use this "!" feature? Secondly I asked Gemini how to use its output and it said just copy and paste into mathcad, that didn't work, just pasted as a block of text, am I doing that wrong too? Any help is appreciated, or other better experiences using AGI?

Hi,I have been updating a Mathcad sheet and noticed that there are slight discrepancies in the results on the order of 1e-6. I tracked the source of this error and I got to this integral (shown below). There are two things I do not understand:1.- Function A and B are the same but for some reason B throws an error "this value must be an integer".2.- The integral should be equal to 1 when the upper limit is approx higher than 5. But for some reason the solution jumps from 1 to 5e-4 when the upper limit goes from 1.011e4 to 1.013e4, which is wrong. It should be 1. I am using Prime 8.0 Regards,

Dear community,   in a redesign of my Master Mashup I have a menu bar (showing icons) on the left hand side. On hover the bar is extending in its width, revealing the menu item labels. This is handled in css and works well. With one exception: On click a submenu shows up. When hovering the sub menu the menu bar is shrinking back to the original size and the sub menu is lost in the middle of the mashup. I would like to keep the menu bar expanded as long as a sub menu is open.   For this purpose I have checked the DOM tree and have noticed the sub menu (a "ul" element with classes "menu-level1" and "widget-menu-submenu") is attached to the body element. Hello,Is it possible to increase string length of global attributes to 5000 characters. windchill provides 2000 max character limit as OOTB.client want to increase that string length to max 5000 characters. is it possible?Is it possible by little configuration or need more customization? if need what type of configuration, please provide?

@ShirishMorkhade_238755 Based on your reply on this topicThree questions, 1) Why checking two types to allowed?  Specifically, why the Parent and then subtype?  Would not the parent override the subtype?  Or do you need to check parent then child?   2) In your example above, does "com.ptc.ptcnet.SubTypeTest1", in this example, "* Instantiable"?  Does the parent?   3) you mention in comments, wizardStep has to be in type.action, so for security labels on documents, would it be             var wizardStep = "securityLabels..securityLabelStep";   I pulled info from the jsp/documents/create.jspf.  

I am new to Creo View and after having been used to Solidworks, I could easily view an object perpendicular to itself by using a 'View Normal' command. It could be any face such as a bolt head, a square etc. But in creo view, I am finding it difficult to view objects normally and hence I am not able to view their alignment properly as I cant find the 'View Normal' option. Can anyone please help me with this. It is very difficult rather impossible to manually orient it to view it normally. Shift +N is used in Creo Parametric but what to do to "View Normally "in Creo View.Thanks in advance.

When creating the first view of a flat pattern part, the overall (outside) dimensions and the bend angle (that’s a note, not a dim) will automatically show on the flat part.It was working but one day stopped working.How can I get that feature working again?Is there a config.pro option for that?I can still show the dims with “show model annotation” command.Creo Parametric 8.0.2.0

A weld symbol on a drawing specifies all around but it needs to be changed. The weld symbol was created in older version of Creo (4.0 or Wildfire 5.0) but where is this option located so it can be removed.. What is being overlooked?
