I’m looking for a solution to build a Configurable Product in Creo that includes a mechanism.Here’s the scenario:I have a rail mechanism with variable length.When a specific variant (length) is selected, I want the linear motion to be limited according to that selected length.What I’ve tried so far:I created a Motion Skeleton inside the Configurable Product.The rail module was connected to the first body of the Motion Skeleton.The cradle module was connected to the second body of the Motion Skeleton.I was able to build variants using Variant Builder, but the problem is:The cradle’s position is driven by the Motion Skeleton.Changing the rail module length does not affect the motion range, so the cradle runs out of short rails.To fix this, I moved the Motion Skeleton into a new module to build different lengths.However, the Assign Choices function doesn’t work (red icon appears, and I can’t check the checkbox for length).Question:Has anyone successfully built a configurable assembly that

Unfortunately, this was never fixed.  Now, the Activation Key server is down (URL). Is Creo Elements Direct Modeling Express still a usable product?  If so, what's the fix?

Hi everyone, I am running ThingWorx Flow 9.3.10 and I’m hitting a wall trying to fix an expired self-signed certificate. The Issue: My self-signed certificate for Flow expired, so I needed to regenerate it. I followed the official guide here: CreateSelfSignedCertificate.htmlI generated the new files, placed them in the SSL directory, and restarted the services. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.1 and Datecode with CPS 13.1.0.1Is it possible to show different list of values for selection for an attribute based on a value of attribute on the context. For example : In context , A attribute called 'Confidential' with Enum of 3 values "Yes, No, Partial'. In Part, I have an attribute called 'Preferred delivery' with Enum value - Electronic, Notification, Paper, Package.When I create a part, if Confidential=Yes on context, then the list of values for 'Preferred delivery' should only be 'Electronic', 'Notification'. If confidential=No, then then the list of values for Preferred Delivery' should only be 'Notification', 'Paper'. If Confidential=Partial, then the list of values for 'Preferred delivery' should be all enum values.Is this possible to achieve?

I can't find an explanation of how this filter works in order to explain to users how to use it.  If I type "abc" into it will it return all rows where any cell has a value starting with abc?  

New to 13 and reading this article after failing to be able to create a MFG part.  https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS367853?source=search The last note on Save As screen seemed to indicate that you could remove the columns from the default view. Well, not really. If you edit the default view, New Org ID column is not removable. You can remove the previous Org View ID. I think what this is saying is that you can hide the column. Problem is that setting is user by user right? I ended up throwing to the right side and hoping a user does not fiddle with it.  Are there any other UIs that I need to clean up that people know of?  IMHO, this is a step backward. Not sure why this change was necessary.

(First time poster, I apologize for any missteps in my post. 🙂 When opening my (inherited from someone who retired) ~800 page document in Arbortext Editor or in Arbortext Styler, I am receiving the following message exactly 4 times:    {A12535] Empty top level index term heading; entire index term will be ignored. I have searched my document for empty index terms and find none.  I have done a lot of checks of my index entries (not every one, but there are many thousands throughout and I do not know what I should be searching for).  I did look at all the entries in the prolog of the document, that are setting up id's for "index reference" tags in the body of the document to use, and removed all of those that were not in fact being referenced. There was also some info online that said maybe it might be an empty index header (like no entries that started with "Q", for example), but I created fake index entries for all the letters that had no entries, th

I have creo 9.0.5. I'm trying to export a .dxf file so that i can import it into my plasma table software (torchmate V9). The problem is when I go to import it into torchmate, nothing shows up. A long time ago Creo support helped me change some export settings and we got it to work but I've forgotten since then. Any ideas?

For Thingworx 10.0.0 in the line chart widget... I am trying to limit the number of x axis labels. I see this is possible if the x axis type is numeric or date type. However, with string type, the property numberOfXAxisLabels is not visible. Is there a way to limit this somewhere when the x axis is a string type?

Hi all!I need to (as an author) set orientation of page manually depending on element. It is required so that I can have large images/tables on Landscape pages,I have created two page sets. One for Portrait and other for Landscape.I am currently using outputclass=landscape or Portrait to start new pages on elements like concept and Task. Now this works but in order to add these conditions to these elements, I have converted the elements from Unstyled (default) to Division 2-4. This causes an issue in my header which is supposed to display only header level 1 or division 2 using Division Reference. However, it displays the first task/concept element irrespective of the division level. Note that this issue only occurs for the unstyled elements that are now Division style. Either Concept/Task is not being converted/recognized correctly, or I converted them incorrectly or the system is broken.Any suggestions?How do you achieve this?

Hello,I am trying to create a custom Word template to use when exporting completed test runs out of my Test Runs tracker using the "Export to Office" functionality in Codebeamer 3.1. I have a couple additional custom fields in my Test Steps in both my Test Cases and Test Runs trackers. I can access most of the Test Step information using expressions like: «item.testCaseRuns.testStepResults.col4»However, if I try to use the column number associated with my custom fields located in the Test Step Results table in my Test Runs tracker, it fails and defaults to the author rather than the content in my custom field. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Community,  I am using Thingworx 9.7.1 version and I have this Show/Hide Log error reproducing on page load which I am not able to debug which says  "An error occurred which accessing property NoBindingIcon and NoBindingText". PFA the screenshots attached for reference.  I am using a master mashup with side panel with a grid, upon row selection it loads a collection of cards.Can anyone tell me why this error is appearing?  Let me know if any further details are required.

I am using a Line Chart widget in ThingWorx Mashup to display time-series data. I would like to add a trend line (for example: linear trend / moving average) on top of the existing line chart to show the overall trend of the data. Is there any built-in option in ThingWorx Line Chart to enable a trend line?If not, what is the recommended approach to implement a trend line?

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I want to be able to only allow a transition from state A to state B in my life cycle if the object using the life cycle has not been set to "Released" before.Description: Has anybody got thoughts on the best way to approach this? I was thinking about introducing some custom JavaScript on the server to identify an attribute that would allow the code to detect if the object had previously been released before either permitting the transition or throwing an exception. Or, introducing code into the workflow. 

Hello!. Please, help with the following issue: I have defined two matrices and use them in equation where they are being multiplied. By some reason I get only one value instead of an array. If I define the one matrix ("k") as a variable, then the computation goes on, as it should, and I get an array. What I am doing wrong? 

I have a copy of Mathcad 14 (with the original disk and receipts).  My computer died and I had to move it to a new computer.  During the install, it goes to log into PTC to get the license (after entering the product code), but returns errors saying I don't have permission.  I've got the license file from the old computer, but since it is tied to that computer, it doesn't work on the new one.  I've gotten no response from PTC when asking for help. FWIW, it's on a brand new Win 11 computer.
