In Creo Mechanism (MDO) motion simulation,I would like to use different spring constants for the loading and unloading (return) directions, in order to represent spring hysteresis.Is there any way to simulate this behavior in MDO?If not directly supported, what is the recommended workaround?

This is a clarified follow-up to a previously solved question. The new objective is to compute the soil wedge area, weight, and centroid (CGx, CGy) behind a retaining wall using the mathematical approach described in the attached Mathcad files, and input data is already explained in the attachment. I am using Mathcad Prime 11. Any help would be appreciated. 

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: In BOM Transformer, I want to create a New Downstream Part, using a Part Subtype that has already been created in Type and Attribute Management. However, the part drop down list isn't populating.Description: I have already created a new Part Subtype as a Site Admin and I want to use it as a new Downstream Part in the BOM Transformer. However, the dropdown list is only showing the very top level PART as an option. Is there a setting or something I am missing to allow all of the subtypes to be shown? 

I got a new pc with windows 11 home and with an intel core i7 ultra. I installed mathcad prime 10.0.0.0 with the license from my university in denmark. When trying to export or save the document it crashes. I have tried contacting my university IT-support but they say they cant help because they dont work with the program. I have read on forums that updating to the version 10.0.1.0 solves the crashing problem. Unfortunately my university does not supply license to that version. What can i do?

Kepware server 7 comes with Audit Trail.The Min days to preserver max limit is 90 days. Details on this in the help menu is very vague.Is it fully 21CFR part 11 compliant, if it only preserves for 90 days? What is the recommended method to preserve audit log files indefinitely?and also allow for an audit log report to be generated.

The files are in different formats like PDF , Stp, PPT. etc. Currently PPT file can be found under the related objects page of grey gear, For PDF you need to find it under the content page of one drw file. Stp can be found under the related objects page of one prt file. What should I do ? Hi Community, 🙂I am new in this forum.I have medium experience in Creo Parametric (version 8 ) and have made a lot of 3D and 2D drawings.I will soon get version 12. The reason I am writing in here is that I have just begun my path into advanced surface modelling and that is a steep learning curve. I have attached a render picture of what I am trying to create (made by a friend in Rhino), pictures of my sketches I have made, and pictures of my best result with and without surface analysis.What I am trying to do is to make a surface between the different sketches but no matter what I do, it is either failing, or the surface quality is bad using analysis.  I have used several techniques, and I have also tried to use the Style feature. What I Hope is that you can help to me learn how to do this geometry with a good quality surface. I know I am missing some features, steps or adjustments in order to do this right, but at the moment I have hit a wall with my experie

I have a subscription for a MathCAD 10 Student Edition. I got a new computer and couldn't figure out how to download the software and transfer the license over to my new computer. I downloaded the latest MathCAD 11 and activated a trial version of it. Can I transfer my existing license to my new computer?

We're thinking of using MathCAD Prime. One of our key requirements is to be able to programmatically print MathCAD Prime files to PDF (i.e. with no user interaction). I know this is possible with MathCAD 15 (you automate printing to PDF from the commandline with MathCAD 15 by adding the "-p" option after the executable and before the filename), but I cannot see how to do it with MathCAD Prime. I've been looking through the API documentation: https://support.ptc.com/help/mathcad/r7.0/en/index.html#page/PTC_Mathcad_Help%2Fmathcad_and_automation_api.html%23. It says that you can print MathCAD Prime worksheets, but I cannot actually find this documented anywhere.Please could you let me know how to do this, either from the API or from the commandline?Thanks for your help!

Not sure which one is the one called when the attribute entry is validated but it should not be too hard to narrow that down. Hello,I have wonder, does kepware datalog driver has any custom data logging parameters ? for example I want to log a carrier ID everytime the ID is change and not the associate think in the same table (such as weight, material etc). Hi!I have upgraded from kepserverEX v5 to v6 on a new server, and tranfered the license:)My problem is that after a while all tags stops working and i see tag quality turns bad(Configuration error). It shouldnt be licens cause i see status on license utility=good. I then need to restart kepserver and it works again, so it kinda looks like license issue but idk how  😐 Anybody knows how to deal with this issue?

Hi thereI have a problem with this function . The issue is R is a cumulative value so the R2=R0+R1> R3= R0+R1+R2 and so on... We have security labels setup just for the download ack message, so we have not enabled agreements (not needed - We control access by other means).  I know specific PTC license is required Base + IP Protection, or the advance (which includes IP Protection), but the PTC steps (Edit) implies restricting who can edit them without explanation.   I am looking to set them so only SL_EDITORS can modified the Security Labels after creation.  Any help would be welcomed.   Thank you in advance.

At the moment I have a small problem when getting the data from MQTT.I understood that Kepware can get the message from MQTT based on the JSON format, but when that format is not in the JSON, what should I do? For example, If my MQTT has a topic is "homeassistant/binary_sensor/IPC1" and the message of the topic is a string like 99-99-99-99 (not in the JSON format), how can I get the string 99-99-99-99 in Kepware?
