Topic reference from hereSame problem here. I purchased a license for Mathcad 11 Prime Student Edition, upgraded my account, but the download page says that I am not entitled to download software. As I purchased a license, I request immediate access to download. With the license came an activation code, but without the software I am unable to activate. 

Hi there, I just bought the student license for Mathcad Prime but when i go to the installation pag,e there comes up a problem like i dont have any available product. I put in the activation code from the mail I got from PTC/Clevebridge but nothing happens. Any Ideas ? Thanks,

Hi, Is it possible to reset variables? For example, if I want to have one file with multiple different calculations inclduing a variable for diameter, is it possible to have a line break or something, so that any variables above it are not used? Therefore variable for diameter needs to be redefined again.  I know that just re-using the same variable redefines it, and that I could use D, D_1, D_2 and so on, but I do not find these acceptable solutions as it increases potential for calculating errors. And sorry for asking this, I know this must be a common question, but I don't seem to be finding the old ones.  

The PTC Help Center recommends overriding the getSpecialTableColumnsAttrDefinition() method to include new attributes.However, when I click "Customize" in the table view, all attributes for the selected object type already appear under "Set Column Display."Is there a specific reason or scenario where overriding getSpecialTableColumnsAttrDefinition() is needed?  

Walking into a new year and a strange error message without any system changes (that I know of). When exporting a table of data to Excel (Export to XLSX), I get this error message: All other export methods appear to complete fine just this one so I've dropped its severity down. Dear PTC Mathcad Community,I want to ask for clarification on the behaviour of units and symbolic substitution in Mathcad Prime (similar topics have already been raised, but I still haven't found an appropriate answer for my issue). So I try to find a symbolic expression for epsilon_c2, which is a parameter of the equation N.Solver succeeded with the issue, but with incompatible units (see picture)So, I have tried to find out the solution in the community, but the advice of @Werner_E  with calculation options didn't resolve the issue (see the picture)So my issues are: 1. How to make the symbolic solving more "seamless" with appropriate units' manipulation in the solutions?2. Why does Mathcad not see the assigned values of the  epsilon_c2 obtained in the previous solution? After some time, when the file has been refreshed, some magic happened, and now I can use the roots of epsilon c1 and c2 in a "normal" manner.But the next issue is that it doesn't let me

I am trying to upgrade my PTC account so that I can download MathCAD, but am receiving an internal error message when I submit the upgrade request with my customer number and site number or sales order number.

I have two vectors .. ztop and z ztop shows the depth of each layer (cumulative value of z in each layer) . ztop  has 11 valuesz shows points in that depth .. it approximately increases by 0.02 in each layer. ( it has 3670 values) each layer has its gamma and its ztop .. ( both have 11 values)what I need is to write a program that will repeat gamma values for each z so I get the 3670 gamma values . In the first layer instead of having one gamma( 17 kN/m3) one value for all the layer , I need to get a vector which repeat this gamma as many as z in this particular layer .. and do the same for the rest layers. Can you help me with that? 

Any suggestions what the potential problems could be? What's a DPA target? I cannot find the API service. I entered the Windchill server in the localhost section, but when I try to access it via http://localhost:80/Windchill/servlet/rest/v1/contexts  or Swagger, I get the following error: Failed to fetch. Possible Reasons: CORS Network Failure URL scheme must be "http" or "https" for CORS request. It also gives a 404 error. I need to connect to the API in order to use it for my middleware application and perform operations, but I'm having trouble connecting to the API. In fact, I don't have a proper API at hand.

Hello Community, we are facing an issue with Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 20.7 + Annotation connected to Windchill+. When creating a new drawing from a 3D model (e.g. model name TEST) and saving it to the Windchill workspace, the drawing receives the correct Windchill number (e.g. CAD0000403) according to the OIR.However, in CED Annotation the drawing name is not updated – it still shows the original model name (TEST). In the TRACE log we can see that the number (PTC_WM_NUMBER) is correctly transferred from Windchill to Annotation, but the expected macro (Docu_set_drawing_no) is not executed. On another CAD workstation running Modeling 20.6 with Windchill 12.1.2.5 (on-premise) the drawing is renamed correctly, which corresponds to the standard behavior of the CED–Windchill integration. So far we could not identify a configuration difference. We also checked PTC documentation but did not find any known issue related to this behavior. My questions:Has anyon

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: In our customization, we use the SaveAsHelper class to duplicate some WTPart (and structure) and would like to "tag" the function used by setting a comment on the new WTPart, for example: "created by Copy Machine". Hi everyone, I have created a part with two bodies and assigned a material to each of them. Now I want to control the material or its density for one body using a parameter in the relationship.Is this even possible? And if so, how? Or can I only control the overall density? I use Creo 8.0

In RTPPM 10.0 the OEE gets calculated at Work Unit Level but when I check the OEE at the Work Center level in KPI Dashboard or reports it shows 0. Any suggestion if I have missed any configurations?

Hi, I want to manage the members of a codebeamer project preferably using REST API.  Swagger doc shows a  GET /v3/projects/{projectId}/members endpoint for retrieval, but doesnt show any PUT or PATCH or DELETE methods.  Is this operation to add or remove members to a project not available via REST API?

I’m trying to download and install the 30-day free trial of PTC Windchill Risk and Reliability (formerly Windchill Quality Solutions), but I’m encountering an issue when accessing the trial link. When I click on the download link, I receive the following message:“Document Not Found — The web page, PTC Windchill Quality Solutions Evaluation, was retired on September 30, 2025.” Could someone from the PTC team or community please assist with obtaining access to the 30-day trial?My company is evaluating this software for potential purchase and would like to test its functionality before moving forward. @PeterCase 

The New community site has way too many bugs.  When you click on a topic it takes to you a blank page to fill in a message.Remove the 80 Character Barrier for String Parameters And the formatting of the screen is awful.   Everything is way too small and too disorganized.  The UI is not at all user friendly. Worst upgrade I have EVER seen.

No, this new look is more modern, but a terrible waste of real-estate. Please make sure that each topic consumes less space on the screen.   And why can't I paste a picture? And how do I get the body of a topic showing?   The attachment shows what I get to asee about this topic.     Luc
