Hello all, I am looking for Search feature for Tree Widget .I have list of assets falling under Network Connection which I am trying to show in the form of Tree widget.I am able to display the List of Assets in the Hierarchy for Tree but faced Issue while searching a particular Asset.So, for search functionality I had added the textfield  widget which has input parameter of  AssetName coming from my service.My service works properly if able to showcase in Grid but while searching for Asset in Tree Form , asset doesnot show up properly. I am attaching the screenshot for the Issue faced along with the service used. Inshort,to explain I am looking for the feature which is already available in "Networks" section for search In Thingworx Composer .Please let me know if I had missed out something for Tree Widget? Can anyone please help me with this usecase. Thanks In Advance !!

I have not used the Thermal Mode of Creo Simulate and I'm struggling with this problem. I have a hot exhaust component that is heating a nearby pin joint and causing grease in the joint to leak out. There is a gap between the components of about 31mm so the only way for the exhaust to heat the pin joint is by convection and radiation. The exhaust is 300 degrees C and the ambient temperature is 0 degrees C. I want to determine how hot the pin joint gets after X amount of time, say 5-10 minutes. I don't know what the heat load is so I am trying to do this with prescribed temperature boundary conditions. I looked through the course viewer but didn't find anything that helped me with this problem. Is Creo Simulate even capable of doing this or do I need to go to Creo Flow Analysis? This is a simplified version of the model. I'm representing the exhaust with the yellow part. 

Hello Community :), My question is the next: My use case: I have one temperature sensor that send to me data each hour and I receive 4 measures (1 each 15 minutes) in order to have a correct implementation I use the fuction AddNumberValueStreamEntry to record the historical values (the measures in the moment that the device record they) with the correct timestamp.How I can generate one alert if from the sensor I receive historical values? One of  the methods that I thougth is uncheck the logged type property and to have only persist checked, set the data 2 times:1. Things[deviceName].property = valueProperty; (JUST TO GENERATE THE ALERT)2. Use AddNumberValueStreamEntry  (To record the values with a correct timestamp)but the problem is that the alert is not going to have the correct timestamp. Exist any solution in thingworx to do this? Management has asked me some questions about MathCAD 15 that our users are refusing to upgrade to MathCAD Prime 9. We have licenses for both programs. Are there any security issues with using MathCAD 15 and the files it generates? We are working in the nuclear industry so a lot of the calculations and data used are classified and we want to be sure that nothing in MathCAD will allow that data to be inadvertently compromised. Does someone know when the End of Support date was for MathCAD 15? We can maybe use this as leverage to force the users to adapt to MathCAD Prime 9.  

We have a combination of Base and Advanced licenses in Windchill 12. What is the difference as far as capability within Windchill between these 2 license types. I would think that the advanced licenses would have all of the capabilities of the base licenses. The reason for asking is that with the Search window not being shown for certain people assigned to the Advanced license group, but when I added them to the Base group, the Search window appears.

Hello everyone. I'm a student, and I have PTC Creo student license. I want to try free 30 day trial of Mathcad, however I can't find any Zip* code in the form they ask for. Any help is highly appreciated, thank you.

CREO Version 7.0.4.0Win-10GPU: RTX A2000 8GBRAM: 24GB Within a newly created part-file, when I extrude a line or curve as a surface.- Upon completion the extrude is hidden- When I Un-hide the extrusion, it remains invisible on the part.What I've tried:- Reboot- Changing the following configuration settings (both in-session only, and added to config.pro)        - shade_surface_feat no        - style_surface_mesh_display on        - u3d_create_color_surfaces yes Not able to get surface models to show still. I tried updating the following document with some additional information: Creo/ProE Drawing Repeat Region/BOM Syntax...This ... - PTC Community Although I could edit it the website wouldn't let me save it and got the following error: "Message cannot exceed 20,000 characters." Yet, when I copied and pasted the contents into Word and count the characters I get 3725 characters (including spaces) When I look at the "source code" in HTML I get 80,287 characters (including spaces)   Based on this I am thinking that it is rejecting my edits due to HTML being ridiculously verbose.  Is this intended?  Can the limit be increased?  Can you have it count text only instead of HTML code? Anything else that can be done?   It is noteworthy that I only added a few lines and it was otherwise as the post existed prior to me touching it today.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.3.0I'm creating a parametric model with family table (end product will be a metal cast part). All basic features (revolves, extrudes, etc) scale appropriately with the values in the family table. However, when I added draft features, these features were failing in the dependent models (not failing in the generic model). It appears that draft features are losing their associativity to the relevant faces/edges/planes/etc, even when these features are still present in the failed model with the same name and number.

I am having issues with the following ModelCheck checks in my start file. I want to be sure that the CLASSIFICATION parameter is set to only one of the values set in the classification.txt file. Hello All, Greetings! I have been trying to configure CAD worker for Creo Parametric to work with Windchill PDMLink 12.0, but getting the error with connection to the Windchill Master Server. I have also tried all the steps from PTC Articles related to this error yet couldn't find a resolution. Connection Error Message What could be causing the CAD worker's configuration issues when using the Creo View Adapter to work with Windchill? Would appreciate anyone's support or guidance in resolving this configuration issue.  

On a brand new install of Creo, I'm having an immediate issue with the embedded browser...The contents of all tabs in the embedded browser are shifted to the right so that a portion is cutoff. Resizing the window only changes the amount of white blank space to the left of the content. I don't have Windchill setup currently to see if it is affected as well.I've done some quick Community searches and haven't seen any similar issues posted in the past. I've also tried some config.pro modifications to see if I could fix it myself to no avail. Thanks.

dear  all expert  i plan to multiple users  dynamic scheduling every user separate scheduling time how to implement. i have done for single user   email sent massage scheduling. but how did multiple user and dynamic scheduling  email sent .      

Starting with Creo 7 PTC changed the start parts to have absolute tolerance instead of relative tolerance because of multibody. I am aware of the topics on this board discussing absolute vs relative. I am curious as to whether anyone has done any studies about whether this has impacts on large assembly management.

I have an Excel file that has merged cells. I don't want to pull the native file into Creo. I am importing these now as a .csv but when I do that I loose the merged cells.   Does anyone have a technique or a better way of doing this? I looked at creating my own tbl file but they are not straight text.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.2.0What if the angle dimension does not display the suffix zero? I filled in 'ang_unit_trail_zero' and changed it to 'yes', but it didn't work. I tried searching for' draw_ang_unit_trail_zero 'but couldn't find it. I hope everyone can answer this question. Thank you.
