I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.4.0I am using IFX to load fasteners into my assembly. When I go to re-open my assembly, the fasteners are missing from the model and give errors in the model tree. Is there any configuration settings I need to make to specify a path for these fasteners?

 At our company, we're working to enhance our Creo Sheetmetal modeling practices to better support manufacturing. One idea we're exploring is adding small notches or cutouts at the ends of bend lines to help suppliers align bends more easily, without manual measurement.I've attempted to create a UDF for this purpose, but it's not as user-friendly or automated as we'd like. Ideally, we'd want Creo to automatically place these notches at the ends of each bend line during the modeling process. My questions are:Is there a built-in or recommended method in Creo Sheetmetal to automate the placement of such notches?Can bend line geometry be accessed or referenced to allow for automatic notch placement?

Hi, I'm struggling with a function within a solve block that requires two inputs, a force and an angle as shown below So when I evaluate R3(F1a,_delta_) I get the error that it must be a 3 element vector. I'm pretty sure my mistake is simple, but I just can not work it out.  Any help will be greatly appreciated Shane

Im running in Creo 10.0.3.0 and am having an issue getting usable code to post. My manufacturing assembly is generating toolpaths and everything simulates correctly. I am able to generate and save a CL file, no problem. When I go to 'Post a CL File', I choose the CL that was made, and select uncx01.p11 from the PP menu. We are using Haas VF4 mills and although this post is labeled for VF8 mills, we have had other engineers post code without issue in the past. I have a series of calculations that I've been doing in Prime 10 with no problem.  Now that it is opened in Prime 11, I get a plot error "These array elements must be scalar".  The plot still generates.It will not pass to a chart element and work.See attached document and data file.  Any ideas would be appreciated. Bob Adams 

I need new drawings to automatically show our standard tolerance block (by decimal places) in the title block. We work in millimeters most of the time. I’ve set the drawing_setup_file in config.pro to point to our DTL, added tol_display yes and the linear_tol values there, and confirmed the drawing format note uses the correct system parameters (e.g., linear_tol_0.0 (text config files) →&linear_tol_0_0 (drawing), etc.). I've restarted Creo and the machine. Still, when creating new parts and drawings, the tolerances in the block don’t match what’s in the DTL/config. I have a number of relations based udfs for creating manifold block designs. All the logic is built using Relations in Creo-Parametric. There is a specific logic I have built around transferring dimensions in decimal form (say 3 decimal places) to a 3D hole-note written with relations, so that the hole note shows the 3 decimal places. (Usually, when transferring to string form, Relations only transfers the integer part of the dimension) I have a work around for this, which works well, but then, every such hole, has to have the logic built in its relations.  Is it possible to have this common logic as a subroutine, written in the part relations , which I can access, every time I want to increase the decimal places ? Hi all,   We have a ThingWorx instance that has been running for the last 4 years. In the database, streams have consumed 1 TB of data. Is there a way to find out exactly which stream has consumed the most space in the database?       Thanks, VR  

I'm using Creo 12.4.0 When changing the "circ_interpolation" factor, arc_only seems to be broken: "Points Only" simulation does the cut correctly: "Arc only" simulation only does the lead-in and lead-out:This is for a trajectory toolpath.  But it also applies to thread milling.  The "Arc Only" path cuts the lead-in/lead-out only and doesn't cut around the part like it should.  Both appear correct in the toolpath display, but on the simulation (and in real life) the paths are broken. Toolpath Display for either setting: Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?  The workaround is to choose "points only", but this makes really huge gcode files.  And if I forget to change the setting, it can crash the tools.  

Anyone have success pointing Mathcad to the Anacona3 installation directory?   I have Anaconda Python.  Root environment is v3.11, but I have a personal v3.8 environment.  Both are supported by Mathcad Prime 11 for Advanced Controls.  My installation for Anaconda 3 is at:   C:\ProgramData\Anaconda3    Note: Anaconda doesn't like paths with spaces, so it installs in C:\ProgramData by default.  This directory contains python.exe, python3.dll and python311.dll.   I think this is the correct "Python installation folder" that I have set in Options.   I pointed the Mathcad Options item for the Python path to this directory.   Restarted Mathcad Prime 11.  It still can't find Python in my Custom Control script editor. Hopefully, someone out there has gotten this to work and can shed some light.

Dear Community I am using Creo 8.0.8.0. I would like to export or extract simulation results in a easy way into a csv-file or other file format that can be imported into excel. Currently I am facing following problem. I have done a Contact Analysis using 2 time step and I also wrote.In the post processing I created a graph using a measure (force) vs. time. Somehow I cannot export the graph. Also I cannot plot two measures (e.g. bolt force vs. input force) that shows their correlation over each time step. Somehow Creo creates several output-files and also folder of each time step but I am not able to find how to use this file and to extract the information I am interested in. Below you find a screenshot of the graph I would like to export into a CSV or other format.Within the post processing tool (Simulate Result) I was not able to export a CSV file. Solidworks 2022 Professional installed on the Windchill Server running on Azure VM. OS is MS Windows Server 2022 Datacenter Azure Edition and I am aware that it is not supported by the book.Installed Creo View Adapters 10.0, both SOLIDWORKS and OFFICE worker agents and workers have been setup. OFFICE worker starts and becomes available (though not tested in practice), while SOLIDWORKS is always "Off" or "Fails to start".Both swbatch.bat and swrunInteractive start without problems: I had luck converting a test.sldprt file in the local adapter folder with swbatch and swrunInteractive brings up the Solidworks GUI.swworker.bat fails when started directly from the setup folder. In the monitor log file I get the following line "Got version 8 INIT FAILURE (with no description) from WVS.". Hi everyone,I wanted to share an issue I ran into while working on stress intensity factor () calculations in Mathcad, and see if anyone has advice on how to resolve it. When I calculated , Mathcad returned results with strange units: ΔK(a0) = 6.013×10^6 lb / (ft^0.5·s^2). That term in the denominator makes no sense — stress intensity factor units should be something like ksi√in (force / length^1.5), with no time dimensions.It seems that Mathcad is treating lb as pound-mass (lbm) instead of pound-force (lbf). Because of that, it introduces extra time units through when it tries to reconcile the dimensions. This appears to be why an is showing up in the denominator. Even after trying to redefine lb as lbf in my worksheet, Mathcad still seems to carry the time unit into the result. I can’t just delete the s^2 term — it keeps reappearing.Has anyone else run into this issue where Mathcad sneaks in an term when working with fracture mechanics equations? I have a huge library of existing parts and assemblies that were all created with the same start part and start assembly files. If I make a change to the start part or start assembly templates, will that have any effect on existing parts and assemblies, or will it only be applied to new parts or assemblies created after the template change?

Hello,I'm having trouble with Creo View Adapters proe2pv.rcp settings. When assembly has multiple multibody parts all of them are published using one shape and same is for having multiple parts with flexibility.This should be easily fixed by changing conversion mode to full, but I end up with the same result no matter which conversion mode I select. Only way I can verify is when I choose Conversion Mode: Minimum Memory, I can see in log file waring as this function is deprecated."proe2pv Warning: Publishing job with deprecated option - Conversion Mode: Minimum Memory. This recipe option will be removed in a future release of Creo View Adapter." If I run in batch mode from command prompt I can see that output is only one *.ol file for each assembly component. Publish jobs are run from Windchill and worker is on separate server. We are using Creo 10.0.5.0 and Creo view adapters 11.0.0.0. Any Ideas why is that happening? Or what I'm doing wrong? /Girts

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: This idea is to help prevent the bad practice of letting files sit with upload errors without attention for long periods of time (weeks/months/etc.) This report would be able to capture all files within Windchill that have upload or other related errors, so the support team can work with those users proactively instead of reactively when something is broken or lost at a bad time.Description: We had a scenario where a user had some check-in errors from almost a year ago on some files and didn't address them then like they should've. Since so much time had passed, the user may have deleted something referenced as well as some file name conflict issues that were present. hello: I am relatively new to Mathcad and rusty on how matrices work within the program haha. I am trying to clamp a minimum value in a 5x1 vector in a spreadsheet i am generating for wind loads. I have a for loop  that generates a 5x1 vector for one variable  To which i use GCpnegzone4 5x1 to generate wind pressures in the following loop  Which works... however i need to clamp the values to a minimum of -16psf per code. meaning it should look like this:  the approach i have been using is taking the same for loop used for Pnegzone4 and adding a the min function in hopes that it will go by element and compare the min value and replace when necessary. However the code just reports the lowest value as show below:  Any help on how it should look like would be appreciated! my file is attached Thank you in advance!
