When I am working I screensnip and paste sources I am using for my calculations on the side of the document for easy reference. If I try to copy them further down the same worksheet or into a different worksheet often the image doesn't paste and instead I get a "Browse for Image' button. THE IMAGE IS BEING COPIED FROM THE SAME WORKSHEET!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN??? It doesn't always happen, which makes it even more frustrating!! The problem is that the image is a screensnip and may have been taken by someone else using the document or not saved to my computer, so there is no file for which to browse.  I am kind of new to mathcad, so maybe there is something I am doing wrong, but this is a very aggravating problem to have.  Attached is an example of what I am talking about. Some of the images pasted, but not all of them.Also some screensnips.   Any help is appreciated!!

Hello, I defined an electron volt in terms of Joules, and tried to convert Joules to electron volts in prime 11, and got an error saying electron volt was undefined.   What am I doing wrong? I get the same error when I replace the J with the eV in the 2nd to last expression.  This worked in MathCAD 15. Thanks for the help, Paul

Hi... I have user for Remote Devices, which do not have a password - so they are unable to login anyway. However, some of these - for troubleshooting - will receive a password, but should be extremely restricted in what they can do / see. This includes the User Profile Configuration with all the available menu points.   How can I empty all of these (except for "Modelling - Things") ? I tried to use the ConfigurationTable, but was not successful. When exporting to xml, I can see that the "Settings" Configuration Table does not have a dataShapeName. However, the service requires an InfoTable with a DataShape, so therefore the ConfigurationTable is not updated.   I do not want to do this manually as per https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r9.6/en/index.html#page/ThingWorx/Help/Composer/Security/Users/UserProfileConfiguration.html#wwID0EY64Y ... so how can I do this via a service?

And works just fine.But my problem is sometimes job orders and products change via equipment things even job order sync and product sync configurations are disabled. Creo Parametric version 8.0.7.0 I'm trying to create a mold for my subject and want to split the body using a plane. Which fails. Then I tried to extrude a body out of the plane I want to split, and the use boolean operation feature to either intersect or subtract the bodies. I was successful on one side, but the other side fails, which I believe the same problem it may have faced when splitting using the plane. Any advise, help is greatly appreciated. I have some personal designs that were made using an education version and have recently purchased a commercial/personal version (Creo version 12).  I cannot open the files in the new version.  The help talks about using a converter but you have to make the conversion in the education version.  I no longer have access to the education version as I have retired.  I am using Creo for my personal use as I am a self employed farmer/rancher.  Any help is appreciated.

Hi,   I just installed ThingWorx 10.0.0 and created a service that will create User ApplicationKey for this User Organization with a Top Organizational Unit with the User as a Member After this, the service create a new RemoteThing and sets visibility to the Organization and adds Runtime Permissions (property read/write, service invoke, event invoke/subscribe) and Design Time Permissions (Read).   With the ApplicationKey and thing name I can now connect a CSDK application. The application has three properties and on changing the status of the "isConnected" property, the Platform will run a service that will create these remote properties on the RemoteThing.   However, when running the CSDK I can see that the properties are connected but they fail to synchronise with the following error in the CSDK:   [ERROR] 2025-08-20 10:58:30,206: twSubscribedPropsMgr_PushPropertyInfoList: Error pushing properties for ON1111-2. We are now a week into Windchill 13 so lots of new things and experiences to understand but one that I do not remember seeing for a long time was deadlocks. I've seen two events were I had a deadlocked or dead Methodserver, both fixable by restart. Aside from grepping logs for "Deadlock", are there any JMX alerts that can be configured to notify when this conditions arise? I thought this was a function of the ServerManager to detect and whack misbehaving methodservers and restart them. Also monitoring SELinux from being the cause of all my grief.  I can see it blocking things randomly causing unexpected behaviour and threads to halt. For a service I need to compare a SHA256 hashed value with a value of a ThingWorx property. As ThingWorx only knows the actual value, I need to SHA256 it to be able to compare it to the value I receive.   Is there a built-in service that can do this? I have only seen EncryptionServices which don't really help, as I am not interested in Encryption but only Hashing. Ideally I wouldn't want to move this out to an external library (or Java-SDK service).

We have an existing part made from sheet metal.  I'm stumped whether or not it's a Creo "sheet metal" part.  I've watched some tutorials and none of them seem to be close to this use case.  I'd rather not have to make punches and dies. Also, as a sheet metal part, I can't figure out how to model to the finished dimensions without creating dummy waste material with dummy dimensions that you have to get rid of at the end of the model.  Seems like poor Creo practice. As a solid part, you could brute-force this as a single revolve feature.  It's bordering on poor practice having that many segments in the sketch.  Ideally there's a "better" way? If you try to use a thin feature instead of a solid feature, the dimensioning scheme doesn't work.  Some dimensions are to the inside surface while others are to the outside surface.  Also, I hate flexible modeling.  You should be able to do this in either as a solid part or sheet meta
