Hello,In Creo 4.0 I was able to cycle through different hatched components in an assembly drawing with the "Next" and "Previous" function in the Mod XHatch menu.However, in Creo 11.0 I cannot find this functionality in the "Edit Hatching" menues, How can I cycle between hatched components in an easy way?  Best regards,Erik 

I have a set of bounding temperature data Ti, at coordinates (xi,yi,zi).  I would like to linearly interpolate the temperature at interior points within the bounding points.  The bounding points could be like a cube, or other shape, or a plane or a line element.  Is there a mathcad prime program that can do this?

Hello, I have to process~750 rows, pulling values from another PRIME file using the INCLUDE statement.  I'm trying to write a text file in a certain format (just 6 row sample).  First column of values would have no quotation marks.  Second column of values would be text or string if a decimal place was included, only to two decimal places.  The delimiter between rows would be a comma.  Attached are a sample PRIME file of what I created and a text file of which I would like to see.Ideas?

I am testing imports of Orgs and Manufacturer objects and glad I did. Orgs went in just fine but the MANUFACTURER object was lacking a critcial field and the import ended up creating it in the site level I believe: Now this is not the WTOrganization it is tied to but the container. Obviously, it did not appear correct and it was invisible. In fact, it allowed me to create it via UI methods just fine creating a duplicate. Hello,  i have this center one below a contained mashup which i am switching among 3 mashups so each mashup has textfields to fill. my question is when i write something in textfield then  i click next and get another mashup and now if i go back to previous mashup then the values which i filled in it would be gone obviously its removing the mashup and loading new one.  i am thinking to achieve this task now to have four containers with each mashup in it and do visible invisible on them and then the values would stay or have four contained mashups in four containers and do invisible visible on them.... i am asking this query to know more about the resolution of this usecase.. any suggestions are welcome..   

In the BACnet software WebCTRL the value is 65.88 but in KEPServerEX the value is 66.  I forced to read and the timestamp updated but the value remained the same. I thought it was rounding it or something. I changed address to a different temperature that did show decimal places and it updated to that point's value and showed decimal places. I then switched the address back and only after doing so did it show a current value with decimal places. It's a little concerning that the value was shown as good and the timestamp having updated but the value  seems to be old. Is there a bug in the BACnet driver or possibly some weird dead band? In WebCTRL the value is currently 65.71 and is fluctuating a tenth of a degree every 5 or 10 seconds. In KEPServerEX it's just stuck at 65.86 and no longer seems to update. The polling rate is very slow but again if I force that one value to read or wait for the normal polling the timestamp updates but the value doesn't updat

When making a template in Mathcad Prime 10.0.0.0, i set the document -> View -> to "Draft".  I then save and reopen the template but it always reverts to "Page" view.  I never had this problem with Mathcad15.-Is there not an ability to set the user made template (document -> View) to always open in "Draft" on that specific template?-Additionally, i have the same question for setting the default zoom on the Document -> View.  Can the zoom setting be set in the user made prime template. Note: if i've got 10 people using the template, i doubt many of them will remember to manually change document to "Draft" view each time they open the template.   

I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.3.0I was able to use the Transform feature under Component Operations for one component of my assembly. Now I want to use Transform again on the same assembly but I can no longer find it in the Component Operations' menu

Hi everyone,I'm looking for a way to rapidly create scribe lines on a part. I have a wall with multiple parts welded on it. I want to be able to add to the drawing engraved line (in a layer with a different color) of the perimeter of the welded parts, to ease installation. That drawing will be exported to DXF, so that the manufacturer can work from it.I'm on Creo 8.  So far, the best way I found was:1. Activate the wall in the assembly.2. Create a shrinkwrap feature and select the mating faces.3. Place that shrinkwrap feature in its own layer.4. Create drawing and modify layer to what's needed. The problem with this method is that I have to select all the surfaces individually. In the example below, there's only a few surfaces, but in my case the walls have a lot more parts welded onto them. If anyone has a better idea on how to do this, please let me know.Thank you.  

During setup the ptc software, I need to input the license number.  But I haven't received any license code when I check the email. 

Hello,I have recently upgraded my study laptop, and desired to transfer my licence from my old one.however, when utilizing the platform i understand to be for it, on the customer support center, i recieve the message:"Thank you for using Mathcad. You have reached the maximum number of license requests available for your product type. To upgrade to the latest version of Mathcad, please visit store.ptc.com."Am i really not meant to be able to move my licence from my old laptop with a student licence?Any tips or ideas as to how to solve it would be greatly appreciated.

This time, I need your expertise to help me resolve the following:I have several 3D zones defined by two opposite diagonal points, as shown in the figure below. I have prepared the zones as an m × 6 matrix, where each row is [x1 y1 z1 x2 y2 z2]. Row 0 → Zone 1, Row 1 → Zone 2, etc.I also prepared a list of points as an N × 3 matrix. Let PTS be N × 3 with columns [x y z]:My inVolume formula is producing the correct Boolean answer (1 or 0) depending on whether a point lies inside the volume or not. However, my matrix implementation is not producing the expected result. I would like also to work with units of length.    Attached is the MathCAD Prime 7 worksheet. Hello.I am currently reviewing a new project.I am considering whether to configure the new server with Windows Server 2022 or Windows Server 2025.If KepserverEX works properly on Windows Server 2025, I would like to configure it with Windows Server 2025.Could you let me know whether this product is compatible with Windows Server 2025?

Going crazy here so an extra set of eyes can't hurt. I have a 13.0.2 Dev system (empty) and I am setting up PartsLink to match my Prod server for testing. I am admin and here are my licenses since I am linking in this thread: https://community.ptc.com/t5/Windchill/Issues-with-Classification-Attribute/m-p/926928#M77761  I see the classification attribute on my Part Create/edit screen but Nodes do not show up. 1. Created my string resuable attribute: partClassification 2. Created Global attribute on Part object and added Classification constraint: I used default namespace string of "com.ptc.csm.default_clf_ namespace" since I am old school. 3. Created a namespace using that same name and a root node. There are some that are instantiable so I know that is not it.  Did I miss a step? Is it possible to clear and start over? I tried deleting the constraint on the partClassification attribute but no luck.  

I've been exploring various research papers and online resources regarding four-bar mechanisms, and I noticed that most of them include complex and advanced equations for motion and force analysis. Hi experts,I experienced the following behaviour.I set up an assembly with AFX standard parts (Bosch, Item or comparable), no customizations going on. Adding connectors leads to additional material cuts in the profiles where needed. When I now create automatic drawings from within AFX these holes are not dimensioned at all. When I add a rectangular cut for example, it is fully dimensioned (s. Drawing_Bosch_Profile.png). Another funny thing about this is that when I use steel or alu beams everything gets dimensioned (s. Drawing_Alu_Beam.png). Any ideas what I'm missing here? Tested it with Creo11 and Creo12 so far.

Hi Community,Currently, we deploy by simply exporting projects from DEV and importing them into TEST/PROD. This works, but it also allows quick changes directly on PROD, which isn’t ideal for tracking and versioning.I’ve seen that PTC recommends packaging as extensions – which gives versioning, rollback, and cleaner deployments – but it also means every change requires a new package and PROD configs can get overwritten.👉 What’s the best recommended way in practice?Stick with simple export/import?Or always use extensions with versioning?How do you handle quick fixes vs. safe, reproducible deployments?Thanks for your advice!
