I'm trying to set up Project in Windchill for my engineering group.  The one thing that I need with this is the ability for the Guest Role to see the projects that they are guest in when they go to All Projects and change to Active Projects or one that I create.  How do I accomplish this without making them part of the Viewer Role and making them join the project?   I am on Windchill 11.2.1.0, but this should be doable no matter what version.

Here is the situation: I have a Mashup Master that is used as a header for several different contained mashups. I have a label at the top of the header which I would like to change based on which contained mashup is displayed in the master.    Here is what I have tried: whenever a mashup is loaded: call SetGlobalSessionStringValue({ name: "MashupName", value: "Mashup 1 Header" }) where "Mashup 1 Header" is different for each contained mashup. (see ContainedMashupLogic.png attached) on my mashup master, I am calling GetGlobalSessionValues when the mashup is loaded, and when MashupNameChanged event occurs (see MashupMasterLogic.png attached) I am then running an expression to combine MashupName with some other static text, and bound the result of this expression to the label in the Header   What is happening: the header never changes after initial load of the mashup, navigating between the contained mashups does not trigger the change in the header

Hey Everyone,   I'm currently using the WS EMS to facilitate a file drop interface between a VM on a private network, and a cloud ThingWorx instance. The WS EMS is installed on the VM and used to transfer files to/from the VM and the ThingWorx platform.  Currently I have one instance of the WSEMS running and pointed to our development ThingWorx environment. Is it possible for me to install a second instance of the WSEMS on the same VM and point this one to our production environment? Or can only one instance of the WSEMS be installed on a server at the same time?   Thanks!   Andrew

This is a follow-up question to a recent Mathcad 15 solution provided by Werner_E. I manipulated some control parameters and "converted" your "rainbow-effect" surface plot of a two-variable function into a nice-looking "contour" plot [see attached file]. How can I overlay it with an x-y plot of a parabola [shown in the second attached file] so that the vertex of this curve coincides with the contour plot [x, y] = [0, 0] and opens to the right [i.e., in the y direction]? 

Creo 3, M070I have a sketch made up entirely of 4 geometry pointsI then created two other sketches, both almost exclusively tied to the first of the four points in the original sketch:I then group those two sketches and create a pattern of the group driven by the points in the original sketch.Creo creates 5 pattern instances instead of 4, one being slightly off of the original.  There's an extra set slightly offset from the original and not aligned to any of the points:Anyone ever see this?  I can selectively disable the extra instance that doesn't align to any of the 4 points, but at some point I assume Creo is going to try to remove the wrong instance and screw up the children of my pattern.How do I fix it?

Hello, When we are trying to use the Save-As Function in our Windchill for the Windchill Part, Model and Drawing we get an Error Message that the Object Type is invalid. I didn't find any preference which prevents the copying of CAD-Models/Drawings. Is it possible that the Save-As Function is not working with Data from Direct Modeling? Thank you in Advance! Hello,   I'm trying to solve these three ODEs for cell growth, ethanol production, and glucose consumption. It keeps giving me either Too few initial conditions, or variable not defined. Just recently,, I discovered that my license for Creo 3.0 student edition has expired and I can't find anything about renewing the license (I am still a student) Where can I renew my license?

I am facing an issue where I applied Organization containing the System User Visibility permission to a Thing template which is inheriting Generic Thing. I am still getting the error that template does not exists.   Is System User visibility does not work with the Thing Templates?  

Hello,   I had installed manufacturing apps 8.4.3 extension on Thingworx plaftorm 8.4.5 with PostgresSQL 10. The installation went ok (without errors) but I can't see the filters in the asset advisor window (attached is the screenshot). Hi Everyone,   I'cant install CREO! :-[ When I press Install on the screen it sits it freezes. Have I lost it? It seems like I used to be able to copy and paste notes and symbols from one drawing to another, but in Creo 2 it's not working. I pick the item, pick copy, then nothing is available for paste on the destination drawing.

how can i use pvroptimizer.exe to compress pvz files outside Vuforia Studio. The reason is to compress the pvz before I can work them in the Studio environment.   Thnx @Giuseppe_Fiore

Hi folks-- Creo Illustrate 6.1 offers a new feature that allows you to attach a decal graphic onto a part, so that it moves with the part like a texture. I'm currently using Creo for decals and textures, but it would be a lot easier if I could do this in Creo Illustrate instead. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that the current Vuforia Studio supports these decals. When I create an illustration/sequence with a decal and publish to PVZ, and then load it into Studio, the decal is not visible. Does anyone from PTC have and information on when this will be supported in Studio? @RolandRaytchev @sdidier  Thanks!

to all   A silly question. I am reading the vbapi user's guide (still early days) and I cannot find  how to "execute" a .vb file as-is. By that I mean read a .vb file in CREO so that it is executed straight away. (no compilation, etc done). Is this possible? if 'yes' how ?   Thanks Regards

(view in My Videos)I have members of the Developers group in the ThingWorx Platform connected to the ES that are able to sign in to platform, however, they are unable to validate via the ES with their credentials, nor are they able to publish unless I add them to my administrator's group.    I do not want them to have admin access, but DO want them to be able to publish experiences.    Any help is appreciated.    Best, Alexander
