Hey Everyone,   I am currently using Operator Advisor 8.5.1.   I am unable to query for rows containing null values when using the Operator Advisor queries and JSON filters. When I query the tables directly using sql from the database thing, I am able to pull rows containing null values. However, when using OA queries/JSON filters, there is no way for me to pull these null values. I have attached a word document showing different filters I tried + the error messages.   Does anyone have an idea how I can pull rows containing  null/blank values from postgres database tables while using the Operator advisor queries? The MissingValue filter is not supported, which is what I'd use when querying a data table or stream.    I want to avoid writing direct sql queries to do this if at all possible.    Thanks, Andrew

I've tried re-import the file and extensions. not working.

Hi,   We recently added floating "Subscription" licenses to our MathCAD license pool. I am able to monitor the usage of our regular floating network licenses, thru the FlexNet License Administrator application, on our central network license server. But how can I monitor, or generate a report of usage for our Floating Network Subscription licenses?   Thanks, TC

I am trying to transfer some log files from a remoteThingWithFileTransfer to a FileRepository with the tw file manager. It appears that I can transfer the data correctly, but the logs report the following error:   [ERROR] 2020-02-17 14:28:18,163 SDK: twFileManager_FinishFileTransfer: File: myLog.log not found in open files list   Have I misconfigured the FileRepository thing? Again, I can see the updated logs through the Thingworx composer and I get a VALIDATED file transfer notification so this error seems strange. I would be happy to send the complete logs in a PM if that will help.   Thanks, Connor

Hi all, I am using a master as follows: The left sidebar contains widgets to enter values for filters and buttons. and "contained mashups" are mashups containing the grid whose data is queried from the database. I want to use the left bar to filter content for grids in mashups. But I don't know how to run the service in mashup when I click the button in master.Is this possible or not? First of all I would like to thank the community for continuous support. Returning to the question:- When I place a 2D widget in the left panel at a particular place then I am not able to place any other 2D widget at the same location. I searched the community an found little piece of info about it from this thread : https://community.ptc.com/t5/Vuforia-Studio/Hide-2D-overlapping-elements-during-desing-time/m-p/642128#M7304   But even after using that i was just able to hide the widgets from that place only during design time.   Is there any proper solution to this? It would be of great help if someone could attach a sample project which could help to rectify the problem.

Hi, We want to create an (Excel) application that downloads the viewables from Windchill in a batching way. All users are non-Windchill users. What kind of license(s) is required. Is it allowed that e.g. 20 Excel users download from Windchill via one license or does everyone needs his own license ?

Probably wrong area to post, feel free to relocate it.   At the 2020 Winter Event it was stated there would be unlimited training access for 1K$ per year. And by course option at a rate of 100$ per hour where most courses are expected to be 3 hours. The courses are to be WebEx based with live instructors.   Second item being considered was two certifications, first being Fundamentals, basic commands. The second being Professional, certified in advanced commands and possibly badges in add-ons like sheetmetal. The certs would be for two years and maintained by PTC outside of this community.   Anyone have dates or better info on these two topics.

We have a parent mashup with a collection passing an infotable to the child mashup and would like to use a column from the infotable as input for an expression.   When I click the bindings icon in properties on the mashup and select binding target, I don't see the expression and it's parameters. (If I click binding sources I can select the output of the expression).   Am I missing something or has this been removed in 8.5?

Hi, i've installed Drafting 20 but every time I open it, it gives me back this message "C:\ProgramCAD\pDD_20\cdm\Enhancements.pe4\x64\Al Tools.dll wrong type". Then it works but our company customization fails to load. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, to delete all the regedit keys, to copy the dll from another PC where this error does not appear. But nothing...   Can anyone help me?

I use some things as a library container for some specific functions On those things I have services and properties.   I also have sandbox and production cloud hosted instances.   I develop on sandbox then export to production when all is OK ... as all probably do 😉 The problem is that properties contain "local parameters" and the values are different between sandbox and production. So ...if I export from sandbox and import to production, I could overwrite the right production properties values ! Note that this overwrite may happen also if I export a thing now "as a backup", and import it again after some time   What is the best way to avoid this ?   May be I could work with thingshape instead of writing directly on the "Library thing" (and export-import the shape instead of the thing ), but this will make a little more complicated and unnecessary for a single thing (shapes are useful for usage on many things). Or I could bind properties of the "library thing

Hi I am calculating the dielectric refractive of index. The data point n is 0..200 When I tried to calculate P0(n), I got [201, 1] in all the points and all the values suppose to be complex numbers like showing as Pw(n). Does anyone know what happened? Hong    

I am trying to plot a function which is dependent on 1 variable.  The attached worksheet calculates the required depth of embedment in soil for a cantilevered retaining for the case shown in Figure 3.11.5.6-5 of 2010 AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Requirements. When I try to plot the solution for the required depth, the plot dialog reports, "Plotting failed. Replace complex values and NaNs by real numbers."  The function is defined in terms of real numbers and the root() function provides a solution to the equation.  I am trying to plot the solution to see if there are other solutions which may be more appropriate for the conditions.
