Hi, I am having some difficulties to figure something out.I have things based on my lets say: myTemplate_01. Some of these things should contain some ThingShape and others not (or different).As far as I can tell, there is no service setThingShape on some Thing.Is there a way how to achieve this?Thanks

We are new to CREO 3. and Windchill 11.0.We have set up a Library in Windchill where our designers check in new CAD designs (drawings, parts and assemblies).this Library has a folder named for each designer (I.E. Desinger A, DEsigner B, etc.).currently the process is for the designer to check in their design and in the check in window they would select their specific folder to check in their CAD docuemnts.Is there a way so when the Designer checks in their CAD cosuments their specific folder in this Library is automaticlly selected?thanks for you help.

Hi,I work for a company that is looking to create multiple front ends for a wide range of monitoring systems, we know that Thingworx is compatible with the hardware we are employing however we are unsure regarding the distribution of the finished products. Does Thingworx support a developer creating an application and then selling that application? And if so how does this work? What are the restrictions etc. Not been able to find any information regarding this so any help would be greatly appreciated.ThanksAlastair

Hi,I tried to create a Thing that'd be associated to a ValueStream using REST API. I have associated the ValueStream to the template I'm using as a basis of the Thing. However, when the new Thing is created the "Value Stream" box stays empty.Should a Thing inherit also the ValueStream of the template or do I have to separately assign it to the newly created Thing? If option #1, why is the box empty? If option #2, how do I do it (with REST)?BR,Risto

I thought I could sneakily work out how to use this by using Firebug to look at the request made via Composer, but I always get an error in the Application log that says:Forbidden file upload from https://x.x.x.x:y/Thingworx/Importer(address redacted)The curl command I have been trying to use to upload XML for a single (if that makes a difference) entity is:curl --user 'Administrator:xxx' -F 'file=@entity.xml' 'https://x.x.x.x:y/Thingworx/Importer?purpose=import&usedefaultdataprovider=false&WithSubsystems=false'(address and password redacted; and I've slightly simplified this curl request but only to omit --insecure because I'm using a self-signed certificate)Where is this wrong...?  Shouldn't I even be using the resource in this way?

Hi,No matter what user account I use, i cannot login and this error message is displayed:"Credentials do not match a valid username-password combination for this Organization. Please try again."I have created a Organisation and can load the login form correctly, I have also added members which were custom groups (Directors, Admins & Users)  which each contain user accounts & have tried adding individual users to see if the problem was with the groups.I have also set the organisation Home Mashup.Any help with this would be appreciated as i feel I'm missing something obvious!Thanks

I am trying to fill a hole on a complex surface.  I use curves to chop it up and boundary blends to fill it in.  However the tangencies are not perfect and I can still see a small seam.  Any suggestions would help.

Is it possible to do with using only ThingWorx functionality?I can write my services and do it my own way, but if there is a way to re-generate alerts after a certain time, that would save a lot of time and work.Thanks

Hello,I run into the situation frequently where I need to select the lesser of greater of two equations.  Suppose I have equation A and equation B.  I've input say 6 values for A and B in a single column matrix and evaluated each.  I would like to define variable C as the maximum of A or B output for each row.  I attached a worksheet that demonstrates my problem.

How may I reorder packages in the Package Browser?  I'm able to do it easily with its contents (Shift+Alt+up/down), but the option is grayed-out at the Packages level:(I'd like to put them in 01, 02, 03, 04 order)

Hey All,I have imported some DXF geometry into a sketch (I have done this hundreds of times over the years).My customer asked me to move the geometry slightly, so I redefined the sketch and attempted to MOVE & RESIZE to the geometry by windowing it in and moving it.  I moved the geometry by picking it up and manually moving it with the mouse and cursor AND also by entering offsets into the MOVE & RESIZE dialog box.  Looks like it is working just fine until I ACCEPT in the MOVE & RESIZE dialog box.  I keep my eye on the geometry and see it snap back to its previous location.The only way to overcome this seems to be to delete the existing sketch and then re-import the DXF file into the sketch.Any ideas?TIA,--Neal

I want to pass a table of data into Mathcad.Each row of data is like fluid_description (string), fluid_density (real value with units), fluid_viscosity (real value with units)I have succeeded in sending a matrix of numerical values with and without units, and also individual string values.  But can't seem to find how to send a matrix of strings.Also worth mentioning that whilst for now I'm using the API, in future it would be intended to migrate this to Mathcad gateway.Any advice welcome.

HelloI am trying to renew my license for Creo 3.0 Schools Edition and have followed the guidance given in the document “Creo 3.0 – Schools Standard Edition – Re-Licensing Guide”, mentioned elsewhere on the Academic Support Forum.On each of the several  occasions I have tried, rather than getting the “Success!” message, I simply get “Failed”.I have followed all guidelines including turning off firewall etc. and running Reconfigure as Administrator (Windows 7).Could anyone please advise?Thank youRoy Handley

I got a problem with some session parameters that i'm sending to another mashup, the thing is , after I redirect from one mashup to another I have to refresh the page once more to get the updated parameters in the session.
