Hi everyone,I'm creating expériences using pvz and pvi files to generate animations. No issue during the creation process. I can declare the pvz model and pvi sequence without any issue but as soon as i save the project, the reference to the sequence is getting lost and i cannot select it in the scolldown menu anymore. I have to remove the model and recreate it from scratch, then bind again my toggle buttons actions on the model.Any help is greatly appreciated,

We have changed our default font from Font to Isofont on our drawings. We can select and update the font on most items, including balloons for the BOM. However, we cannot find a method to change the font for a reference balloon. Is this an oversight on the part of PTC software designers, an undocumented feature (bug) or actually by design? If by design, then I will open an enhancement request for Creo 22 (not a typo, I figure PTC will take that long to fix it) and hope that others agree this should be fixed.

Hi.Within Security Labels Configuration file I included a tag for Agreement Configuration.AgreementConfiguration enabled="true">    <AgreementManagersGroup>        <groupUfid>cn=Agreement Managers,ou=people,cn=AdministrativeLdap,cn=Windchill_10.2,o=xyz|Ldap.corp.xyz.com|Ldap.corp.xyz.com</groupUfid>    </AgreementManagersGroup>I then created a group called as Agreement Managers in Site Utilities and then added a user to that group.However when i login with that user i am not able to find any icon to create a new agreement ? Hi All,I have a mashup where I show the current status of the device.In this mashup I also let the user change the status of it.Because I want to show the user the most current status of the device I refresh the screen every 10 seconds.The problem - if the user choose to change one of the properties and didnt save yet, the refresh will reset its choise.The solution, every time the user click on a button it will reset the auto refresh so it start counting from the begining and only if 10 seconds passed since the last time the user click on a button it will refresh the mashup.Is there any way to do it?When I toggle the refresh button (Change from ON to OFF) it will immidiately trigger the refrsh and not wait to finish counting.

Hi,   When i make a multiple shared parts the program automaticaly gives the same name.different number of each part (the number is from .1 to .XX)   : When in the structure browser the program put shared parts, the order is not correct because the order put first all the .1X parts second .2X parts etc.This is no logical order. For me one way to do it right is give another range of names like (the number from .01 to .XX):   Is possible change some setting to do it autiomatically on Direct/Modeling V.17?

I have 2D matrix (NxM) created with indices which I like to plot in 3D. I wish to change the axes to display not the indices but rather the actual vector that have generated them (with units).Please see the attachment.How can I do that?

I've started to design a simple saw bench.  A cross beam with 4 legs, which Carpenters use, and develop the complex geometry using planes as a teaching aid.  Most of the teaching aids I've seen are a complete design bringing components together to be assembled. Here I've design the assembly to match the area and support required but now I'm now stuck as I cannot seem to copy the "leg" to develop the assembly and drawings as would normally be the case.    How should I go about this? I began by creating the "cut-outs" and to prove the design filled the cut-out with a short leg as shown. It would appear that I cannot easily separate these now to "reverse engineer" the design.  Are the any examples of copying and separating geometry like this?

I need a little help. Why isn't this working... How am I supposed to solve the system (except using a matrix without units or even this method but without units)

I have 60 top level assemblies and I created wt part for the same. Now I need all 60 wt part to be converted as End Items. Can I do this in Windchill or should I remove association of all wt, delete wt's, create End item wt and then associate it again with respective assemblies?

Hello,First off, I'm new to the cabling part of Creo but not to Creo in general. With that being said I cannot figure out how to add a location to a wire to route properly through my assembly. I know how it should be done but it is not working for me. I have a simple wire already connected. Here is my process: enter cabling app, right click wire in the model, select 'insert locations'  and When I click on it to 'insert locations' the entire model/assembly turns red and it wont let me select any datum or surface or anything for that matter. Any ideas as to what could be the issue? I have tried everything I can think of.Thank you,Mike

Are there or have there ever been any plans for collection level events?We already have the SecurityMonitor for Login events, which is fantastic (and also, something I think I asked for way back in 4.0), but I'd love to see an EntityMonitor thing with events likeEntityMonitor.ThingCreated()EntityMonitor.ThingUpdated()EntityMonitor.ThingDeleted() (somehow magically running within transaction so that we could bail on the delete if warranted.)Similarly, that pattern for all EntityTypes would likely be helpful for someone. Hi community,Here I submit for revision and correction the results of a big formula to get the density of a mixture of ethanol and water given the temperature in degree Celsius  (t) and the alcoholic strength by mass (p) expressed as decimal. The goal is to reproduce an alcoholometry table attached as a pdf file where the formula is given together with the reduced result table .I attach also the Mathcad worksheet where I try to reproduce the table by applying the formula to different values of temperature and alcoholic strength of the mixture.Thank you for any help!Juan.

Hi All,Can anyone let me know what is ContextBasedAgreementType. I had encountered this element while i am trying to edit the securityLabelsConfiguration.xml file which is a part in creation of Agreements. Is ContextBasedAgreementType a subtype of Agreement ? Can we find this is in Type and Attribute Manager Utility ? Or do we need to create a sub type of Agreement as ContextBasedAgreementType ? I have created a new service "Mlist_service" in "Mlist_datatable" added up having field definitions "entities_name" as primary key. Then I wrote json script in my service using snippet"Add/update datatable entry". when I export my data and entities and use it in another system,the order of my entries in "entites_name" is changed.so  how can I arrange my entries in "entities_name" in ascending order??

We've been going through the updates for our students to roll them all up onto M110, as needed, and have noticed that the new build hangs on launch.  The issue seems to be all the "click here to not show these windows if you've used Creo before" that you get when you wipe out your .wf folder, as is required for the new WC11 upgrade.This hang has made some of our computers unusable for Creo.  We've tried installing/uninstalling/reinstalling/redownloading/repeat.  Issue is not isolated to one computer.

It appears that the new M110 Creo 3 educational date code does not generate new license files upon installation.  This makes new installs impossible, and only allows installations when upgrading from older date codes.  No files created in C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing as indicated in the instructions.

I'd like to programmatically add new Things, but I want to have some validation to see if the Thing is already Created.The validation I want to do is something like thisif(Things["ThingName"] == null){    //Then Create the thing}but by doing that, I receive the error which tells me : "Cannot read Property "ThingName" from undefined"Then seeing that, I Created another service that will only retrieve the Thing name / project NameBut both of them didn't work telling me the same error as before (Cannot read Property "ThingName" from undefined)By the way, the thing is already created.This is the code I used :var result = Things["ThingName"].GetProjectName();returning result as outputThen I tried with another Entity (tried ThingTemplate) and it worked.So first, is the Things[""] bugged for me ?Second, how could I add the validation I'm looking for?Message was edited by: Frederik Grondin

Hello everybody !I am just curious if the first argument of polyroots has some (useful) meaning (see highlighted region in attached), since subsequent calculations in the worksheet work fine.The equation originates from the simple DE :  dT(z)/dz = [deltaH/cpm(T)] * dgCO(z)/dz , with the initial conditions : T(0) = T0 and gCO(0) = some value.I suppose that's something coming from the cuisine of muPad symbolic engine...Note that value displayed as first argument at polyroots may change on re-opening the file.Best regards, Liv.

When we create designs of plastic injection moulded parts we model it as an assembly which contains the actual plastic part plus any inserts and/or paint with a naming convention similar to the image belowUsing the example above, auto-associate creates wtparts for MP123456.asm, MP123456_moulding.prt and the BP parts. We don't really need the wtpart for MP123456_moulding.prt. Is there a way to stop auto-associate from creating this wtpart using, for example the fact the number (mp123456_moulding.prt) contains an underscore or could an attribute be used to tell auto-associate not to create the wtpart?Thanks in advance.David.

Hi,I am facing issues when trying to build a  Thingworx Analytics Server VM image. When I run "build-virtualbox.bat " command from the command prompt, the installation begins and almost completes till the point where the VM has to shutdown. At this point I get a VBoxManage Error.Following is the error snippet:I am building Analytics Server (Version 52.0.4). I also generated the log file for the packer script and have attached it for reference.I am stuck and not able to proceed. Hello,i have a question for all of you: i have an assembly WIRE_ASSY.ASM with 3 parts, 2 generics of a connector and a flexible wire. i want to make a family table of the assembly WIRE_ASSY.ASM in which the different instances have instances of the connector and the wire with external diameter, internal diameter and lenght flexible based on the dimensions of the connector. but when i create a new instance of WIRE_ASSY.ASM it saves me also the previous instances. with Windchill the instances need to be checked-out.do you have a suggestion?thanks
