Hello ptc community, Is it possible to get an overview to loading cycles. For Example a big assembly should get loaded to Creo, my point of view at Creo 4.0 is, that i only can watch at the taskmanager that the file gets loaded (throgh looking at the RAM load, CPU and GPU have not much to do at that state). Also between loading utilizations the programm is kind of locked until the File is completly available.I think a progress bar maybe with a percentage value would give an overview of the task. For program commands (for example: clusters) there is already a progress bar that shows the final calculated geometry that has been clustered. Yours sincerelyAlexander

Hi all, Trying to setup a new analysis model and having an issue with the Model File URL field. I am inputting my URL in the format /Thingworx/FileRepositories/<Repository Name>/<File Name>. It is giving this error popup however. Is there a different format to be used? Or a way to get the exact URL?  

Hi thereI want to exclude some values from d when it is bigger than the width .... I want the program to just exclude the values that do not fulfil the condition, I used this program ,but it shows strange error ...I'm sure both of them have the same units How to fix this ? 

Hello ptc community, If I create a List of materials (BOM) of an large assembly, the list does overlap with the frame of the drawing.Is it possible to split the list from one to two, to shorten the length? I know that I could use a bigger format for example to change from an A3 sheet to A2.But if everything fits to the format sheet (If the list is split to two) it would be worse to take a bigger sheet. Version of creo is 4.0 Yours sincerely,Alexander

Hi, My understanding is that the support for MathType introduced in Arbortext 8.3.0 is not entirely complete (limitations for publishing?). Is there a description somewhere of what is supported or not supported?And will the next release be more complete, and when would that be expected? Thanks,Richard Steadman

Hi,  Our current drawings use stroke font as the default for drawings. But we need them to be with Truetype font. The reason behind it is that we need to manipulate the PDFs after Creo generating them. By simply use "use Truetype font" option during PDF export does not work well. The default Truetype font looks very different from the stroke font and also is much wider. Hence cause issues to fit into the table. Unfortunately, there is no option can change the default Truetype font. The only method is to change the default annotation font for the drawing.  The drawing default font is controlled by a ".dtl" file in each drawing. There is no universal setting that can change the font for all drawings all at once. That being said, the "dtl" file needs to be changed in every drawing one by one. For one project, we have around 3,000 drawings. It will take a long time to change them manually.  The Creo object toolkit or VB Api doesn't offer a function that can be

We are able to create the problem report also the attachment is able to attach in that newly created Problem report. I have an expression that needs to evaluate sin (x)/x for x =0. I was doing this with simple program with if'sBut Luc suggested I use sinc I know these are the same and even checked by evaluating them numerically.  But if I use the sinc expression, it must mess up something later in the worksheet because the results are completely different. (And it is the form with the if's that I know is correct.). I cannot figure out what is happening. Since I have a version that works, maybe I should just ignore the issue and move on, but, if someone can help, I would like to know what is going on. I have posted the worksheets in MC14 and MC11. Both contain the expressions for PHI but evaluation is disabled for the sinc form. Results are given in graphs at the bottom of the worksheets.  

Hi,I'm experiencing an issue while trying to install Creo 7.0.8 on my machine. When I run setup.exe as an administrator, nothing launches — no installer window or error message appears.Interestingly, I was able to install Creo 11 without any issues, but my professor requires us to use Creo 7 for the course.I’ve already reviewed and followed the suggested steps in the following PTC Community threads:CREO 7 Installation on Windows 11PTC Creo 7 setup.exe not runningI’ve also consulted with classmates and others familiar with Creo, but haven’t found a working solution yet. Hi all, I am trying to set up an alert that will trigger multiple times if the value is below the threshold a few times in a row on data change. For example, PropertyX has an alert where if PropertyX < 800 then it alerts. PropertyX changes to 300 and the alert triggers. PropertyX then goes to 400 directly after, but this time the alert doesn't not trigger. From what I see an alert won't trigger again until it goes within the threshold again. Is there any way around this so it will trigger every time the property is below the threshold? Thanks!

Hi,referring the article CS392162, I'm not able to edit the name of the folders. In my example I need to add the mechanica beams and I want to maintain the original ones.I already create the folder structure, as you can see in the image attached:- simulate    - steel_beams_mm_mechanica    - steel_beams_inch_mechanica I want to change the label of the folders:- SIMULATE    - MECHANICA MM    - MECHANICA INCH I need it in two different languages, english and another one. Thanks in advance

Have you ever encountered such a situation: In Creo3.0, when editing parameter properties, I wanted to define a drop-down value list for the parameters, but I found that I couldn't click the Define TAB in the Edit Properties dialog box. However, this issue does not exist in Creo4.0 or later versions.

I am trying to create a solve block to calculate the value of alpha as per the below equations:I have never used solved blocks before so hitting a bit of a stumbling point. Why when we want to create data table or value stream should create data shape ? what is the main function of datashape to data table or other storage feature in thingworx? 

When I try to export a mathcad worksheet to PDF file, all the green (no error) boxes are also getting exported. Is there any way to hide then or switch it off when I export from mcdx. to pdf.? It`s a bit annoying when any of my clients see it that way with green boxes rounded off at random places.

I am having issues trying to open a UDF from a folder in our Windchill library.I get this error:'wtpub://PDM-PD/Libraries/COMMON CAD/CAD Documents/user defined features/90-4118-795-000' does not exist in the database.Caught exception: com.ptc.wfc.Implementation.pfcExceptions$XToolkitGeneralError When I dig into the log, it looks like it is failing here:Exception of type com.ptc.wfc.Implementation.pfcExceptions$XToolkitNotFoundXPFC Message: pfcExceptions::XToolkitNotFound...at com.ptc.wfc.Implementation.WFCRemoteCommImpl.makeObject line: 5453 If I put the UDF "90-4118-795-000" into my working directory, it executes fine and places the UDF as expected. I have tried to retrieve the UDF in a sandbox code and get the same error, so it seems it is related to .gph files?I can retrieve .prt files fine, so I am looking for any ideas on how to resolve this issue.

There was a lot of templates and macros used, Now the Align function and buttons are greyed out.I will re-install ISO in couple days if no solutions so i can keep moving forward. 

Hi all, I am trying to find a way to simply disable grid hovering in the Thingworx grid widget.  I have this grid with red and white rows. When hovering, the red rows hover as white text on white background, but the normal rows don't change on hovering. I'd like all rows regardless of state (there are a few other state colors not seen in the visual) to not have any change when hovering, but I can't seem to find any setting to disable this and can't seem to find a way to bind a state definition to the hovering settings and all rows are required to have the same hover settings. Is there any way to simply disable this? Normal: Red row hovered:
