I recently got a new computer and had to reload Pro/E (Wildfire 5.0) onto the new machine.  I noticed that I can no longer use the mouse wheel alone to zoom in and out as I was able to do before.  Is there a setting that I can change to get this feature back?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I have several small calculations that I would like to do.  I can easily write a service for each of them and return an single value.  I would like to have one service and just return a datatable of all of these values.  Does anyone have an example on how to do this?  I have found a few snippets of code, but I can't seem to get the syntax correct.  Thanks!P.S. Dear Guys,Assume a case where where WC is not integrated with AD , and the pwd policy management policy (Pwd Auro-Expiration for 1 month ) is set up in Windchill-DS . When a users fails to change the pwd , his account is automatically locked. And it causes an over-head for the Admin tochange the pwd for the failed users(s) .. is there a way to downsize the effort ? meaning like sending mail with random pwd to the Users automatically after the pwd expiration ?Any other suggestions or ideas pls ?Regards,Sriram Rammohan

We're currently running the a FlexLM license server for our Creo licenses. I want to add a server daemon for FloEFD. Has anyone had the fun of doing this? Because of company policies, I need to set up an appointment to do this, since no one on-site has server access privileges (yeah, I know). I'd like to minimize the "experimentation" to get this running without knocking out the currently running Creo license server.Anybody had any experience with this?

Hello,I have in a dataTable, the history of location and status for a vehicle:When it is moving, i have a record with timestamp, location and eventType=Drive.When the vehicle stops i have a record with timestamp, location and eventType=Stop.It is not obvious to get stats from such data, so can someone help to answer the following ?I need to extract from this:* % of time vehicle was driving vs stopped* get a graph with average speed when vehicule was not stopped* get a graph like this one to display for each vehicle when he was used, and display in blue/green/yellow based on average seed.* Display a graph that display for a specific day

im wondering how to publish to a PDF, so it pops up the PDF, before i have to save it.  in intralink, the pdf would show up on the screen, then do a file save as, and name it.  this one wants me to name it before i create it.  i dont really want to do that.  i would rather have the pdf show up, then look it over before i save it.   thanksThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi, everyone,I tried to program a fourier series of a step function,  using the complex form. Imitating the example code of the real series from the HELP folder, it succeeded.But when I wrote it in terms of my own perception, it failed.Could someone help me check where I did wrong? Hi all, I want to use symbolic solver to convert a fourth order equation to the multiplication of two second order terms. All variables are real numbers. I defined the equation like this but Mathcad showed no solution for it. I attached the complete source code of Mathcad here. A big portion of this worksheet is the derivation of the left hand side of the equation, so you can simply ignore it (unless some of them are not executed by mathcad successfully). Would someone advise what is wrong with my solution? Can I put more restrictions in Mathcad, such as assume k0,k are real, to figure this out?Many thanks!

Hi, We' use MKS 2009.  We have a Item that has a User data type field that needs to be relevant (visible) when a Pick data type field is set to Yes.  The Pick data type has no default value and the User data type field is populated with the members of a Group.  The issue is that regardless of the status of the Item, when the Pick data type field is set to Yes, the caption (Text) of the User data type field is shown but not the field itself.  The field is shown only after the change is saved and the Item edited.  See attached.  Is this normal?  Thanks,

This is clearly wrong to me, because the event is fired by a widget, not a service (in the classic model-view-control software architecture, we could consider it as an event generated by a view component).Giuliano

I've got a service returning the imagelink I'd like to use for image widget.Is it somehow possible to use that image as a link?Would it also be possible to have the link change when the imagelink changes (based on service response) ?Imagelink gives an image describing a state but the web link should point elsewhere.Just thinking if this is possible. The more important thing for now would be to get the image widget work as a link (adding onclick event or such?)

HiHow to solve for multiple variable with one condition?for example: how to solve this problem using mathcad program, I use mathcad prime 3.0if n>2m=x+y+zn=x+yp=x-y-zelsem=x*y*zn=x*yp=x*y/zI know how to solve one variable with multiple conditions using "if condition" in Mathcad. i.em=if n>2 then.........if else.........else............In this example I have accommodated few conditions for one variable. But in above program, there is one condition for few variables. and I don't want to use separate "if conditions" for each of the variable. We have a file that when rendering in CreoView2 gets to the Generating Output stage after 8 minutes and then at 10 minutes Pro/E is stopped and the viewable is never completed.The MS log shows a 600 second time reached. Hi,I would like to know which version of mozila firefox can be used along with windchill 10.2 M030-CPS03.

I just want to inspect a model / assembly for clearance fits etc without going though creation of section views.  In Catia you can pick a surface or plane for a cut direction.  Then by grabbing the drag tool one can 'scan' back and forth or tilt the cut to see how models and assemblies are built and visualize fits.  With nothing esle in the way.Does Creo have a similar tool?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi. I'm traying to use Prime. After a very good first impression, I must to say that may be it was premature. Have some few, and probably innocent questions:- How can add any (or all) operators and symbols ribbons elements to the kick access bar? Right click works with the Regions elements in the ribbon, but not for any other. Ribbon is not my enemy, but occupies to much screen space for my visual preferences.- Script components, where are you?- Object insertion, inside mcad worksheet (but not just for scripting)- Can't find how to add my own math style (in variables, units, function, etc.).- How can enter in debug mode?- Right click in math regions give nothing? There are no one contextual menu for math?- Where is the symbolic evaluation? Those hor or vert with or without lines insertions? (by diff given ... by integration gives ...).I can found more functionality in the hp prime calc or ti new calcs than in mcad prime.Thanks in advance.Alvaro.

I created a GearAssembly.  It consists of a hub and an 80 tooth gear.  Made a motor assembly and put the gear assembly on the shaft of the motor.  I need to move the gears down the shaft toward the motor.  I am wondering how I do this?  When I put my motor in the assembly with the wheels and C-Channel part, the gear on the motor is in the wheels.  I need to slide it down the motor shaft to match with the gears on the wheels.Thanks for any help.

I want to eliminate the ability of the user to pick "Issued to Production".  Where can I make this change?  Do I have to change the LifeCycle, or is there another way?  I would really like to have 'Engineering Approved' be the only option available.
