Does anyone know how to add a title to a plot in prime 3.0? Add a legend or even label an axis? From my searching it seems these features are no longer available in Mathcad Prime. Also, I can't believe there are only three settings for the document margins! In the previous version of Mathcad I used (v14) I was able to customize the margins. Am I missing something here?

I have been trying to install the student version of CREO 2.0 and when I try to enter the product key, a window pops up and says "PTC Installation Assistant has stopped working" and no explanation as to why. I have attached a jpeg of a screen shot. I've submitted support requests and have heard nothing. What's going on?

I have setup my worksheet to have the default display for Multiplication as 'X' as this is needed in the equations. I am using MathCAD 15 M020However, the X is showing between the numbers and the units. Between the units we would like a Thin Space.To get the Thin Space between the Numbers & the Units, I right click over the X between the Number and the units and select View Multiplication As.. and select the Thin Space. This then displays the correct format we required (Thin space between the number and the Units).This only applies to any number that is not in the same default value as the default units. The worksheet default is set to Pressure (Pa), and all of our units are in MPa. If you change a Pa unit to MPa, it automatically adds the X between the number and the units.After changing all the required X to Thin Space, I save the worksheet, close it and then re-open the it. All the X re-appears in ALL the places where I previously changed the X between the number and the Units t

Dear Community Members,When I do a Creo Parametric 2.0 "Save a Copy" within Windchill, it states it has been successful at creating but I cannot find anywhere within Windchill folders. See screenshots of steps below...Yet that file does not appear in any folder within Windchill.Any suggestions?

We have Windchill users who are not familiar with Creo, but who need to access Creo data. They are really missing the option that was available in previous releases to download e.g. a part file directly from the details page of an Windchill object. It worked well with sending a URL, pointing to a particular Windchill object, to these users. These guys are working with simulation and running applications foreign to PTC, it is actually an export functionality that they are missing. Todays trend in the CAD business is to be able to open objects from other vendors.With Windchill it seems like you can only access data today through a WGM. A WGM for all the applications that might make use of a CAD file would be a massive overkill for us.Has anyone found a clever workaround for this or would you also like to have the direct download option back.

to alli wnat to use the root() optin to solve a "simple" 2nd order equation. The 1st pass works fine but I now would like to set it up so that root() give me a set of x values for a set of given parameters. I was introduced to Scalextric 4 Schools some years ago at a session run by Paul Spencer at Edge Hill. At this session we built a car using a chassis frame that fits the components that you can obtain today. We are trying to simulate a toothed-ring with radial loads outwards due to a shrink fit and rotation. In the corners of the valleys between the teeth, the stress is incredibly high compared to the stress in the rest of the part (see screen shot below with a thin red line at the inside corner). I have searched several forums and cannot find an answer to this. This question is specific to a PART, not an assembly. Is there a way to calculate the mass properties of a part for a given simplified representation? I need this information when making a drawing package for an assembly - certain features (holes, finished surfaces) are not represented in the part or weldment drawing, but are later shown in the final machining drawing. I do not think family tables are a good fit here as this does not change the overall part or assembly of parts in the model, I just need to show representations of the parts at different stages in the manufacturing process and their associated weights.   I have seen two config options for this, force_new_assem_mp_in_simp_rep and mass_property_calculate but this seems to only reflect assemblies, not individual parts or part drawings. Paginated BOM: Regneration gives this: The only way I can clear up the BOM is to re-set the extent of table. I am new to Creo 2.0; however, I used Wildfire for many years. Just trying to set up a 'simple' thermal analysis in Mechanica (sorry, Creo 2.0 Simulate).I want to apply my heat load (and also my convection boundary) to a fairly large collection of surfaces - being the inside (and outside) of a cast gear casing. I'd assumed that I would just be able to use Seed and Bound selection to pick any interior surface and stop my selection at the holes where the shafts stick out - but I can't seem to make that approach work, and both the Boundary and Intent options for selection give me just one option for selection, namely the entire casing.Any pointers?Thanks!

I am trying to create mulitple triggers via the command line and I'm have one minor problem. I have done a static analysis on a beam and I want to calculate the stress at a specific point. How do i do that? I have tried using the dynamic query but I cant pick out the exact point as I want to.

I'm working with the Variance (wt.change2.WTVariance) object (waivers and deviations) and trying to get the objects that are on the Affected Objects table. Hello,The problem is when firewall is OFF, all my applications like parametric, simlute etc are running but as soon as I turn it ON there is a warning messege that "License server is down or not responding" .But I want my firewall to be turned ON and use the apps. Having followed the process to sign up for a student copy of Creo 2, I have installed the software as directed, however when I start the software it notes on the startup page that this is a 30-day trial copy. The web site states that students get a one year license copy? What have I done wrong?
