All,I'm trying to import a series of points, generated externally and formatted into a .pts file. I'm following the route of Point -> Offset Coordinate System -> Import.I have a previous model where we've done this and the points are reported at full accuracy (7 or 8 decimal places). However, today when I import the points the values are being truncated (or rounded) to 3 decimal places, which is enough to create visible imperfects at the scale I'm working. If I manually edit a value with more decimal places they are truncated (or rounded) off again.Is this related to model accuracy - which is currently absolute, 0.01 (mm) - or a config option somewhere?Thanks!This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. I have started a worksheet that will calculate many simultaneous equations at the same time. I have set everything up and all of my units work out when checked individually, but when I set the equations up to solve all at the same time then I am receiving an error claiming that my units are incorrect. I have attached the file for help. When I trace error it comes with saying that the problem exists with solving for "Q".

Is there a way to insert a new object in between its revisions via code ?

Recently we've been experiencing some issues when bursting an Editor document into Windchill. Apparently, special characters such as ':,>' etc. are not allowed within Windchill object names. So I've found the following Xpath code (to be inserted in the burst configuration naming rules) which should be able to substitute any special characters when names are generated: <namerule elementname="map" rule="xpath" nameexpression="translate(title/@outputclass,' \*:()|<>%.?/"'',' ')"/>I cannot however get it to work. If anyone is familiar with Xpath syntax, could you please provide an example of how this code would look when using it to substitute characters in chapter object names? I suspect the issue lies with the 'title/@outputclass' part of the code, since I have tried for example 'title/chapter' and many other variations with no luck...

HiIs there any option to move the object from common space to work space without selecting check out option ?I studied that when revising the object it should not be check out , also the revising can be done in workspace .

Hi, We used to work with MsWord where we used "highlight text fucntionality" to identify the paragraph, sentence that need to be modified or reviewed later on.But as we moved to Arbortext, authors are finding it impossible to markup/highlight text that are not finalised.Is there a similar function in Arbortext we could use to identify text within an element (e.g <para>) as "not final".Is there a way to highlght text in Arbortext?This could be a great help and reduce intermediate authoring in word only to be copied to Arbortext later on.Thanks, Edwin

Creo2 M070 I cannot get this config.pro option:   sketcher_dim_of_revolve_axis yes   to work.   Although it is yes even as default value the Intent Maneger Dimensions to the centerline are radius dimensions instead of diameter dimensions.   Is something wrong with my centerline? I think there is only one type of CL again. I can manually create diameter dimensions and the feature regenerates OK. Trying to create my first patern relation and having a bit of a problem. I want to pattern a hole so that there are 12 instances total. The pattern will only be in one direction which is an angle. The first hole patterned I want it to be 25 degrees away from the first hole. The next 9 holes I want to be 30 degrees away from the 1st patterned hole. Then the last hole I want it to be 25 degrees away from the last hole. Please see the picture attached.Now I know I could define each hole at a certain angle but I was wanting to do it a little more simpler. Below is what I have. I'm trying to change the title block in the drawings from the old engineers name to mine. This is driven by a parameter. When I change the parameter it gets changed back to the old engineers name though(i'm guessing when it gets regenerated).I looked at the parameter and under the source column it says "program". Hi im writing my master thesis, and im almost done, as a last step i want my values to be exported to excel, and i know how to do this BUT.My problem is that i want to repeat the calculation with different parametars, and after that upon the users will, the values will be exported.In my case, i have done a automatic export of the values upon every recalculation and i want a button of some type that does this when clickedThe task: One button click to export all the matrixes.Ofc the script will be later integrated into my orginal script and Matrix A to E will be different and present different load-cases and stages.Also if you cant help me, you might want to take a look into the strings I have created that first calculates how many rows in excel that have been used and print the data after that row, so you can collect samples for different input-data, into same file without having to change the write function manually. Im also aware that i could do a for loop to make the script shorter,

Hi All,can't figure this out..I have a sheet metal tub, and the welder is complaining. I don't blame him, I am too!I have a tub, with 4 folded up sides. The bend radius is nice & big, 1/4" radius, for cleanliness & wipe down regulations. But, since this is a bend radius, Creo applies the default bend calc to it, and I get a great opening where the two flanges radius to their vertical, upright positions. I need to add a chord flange, a little arc of material to the ends of the flange where radius is.I can't seem to add a flange, then cut away want i don't want, because it cuts into the mating flange! I don't know how to add a bit to this flange, and a bit to the other flange, withough cuttting into each other. (I seem to have to 'unbend' then add a flange, then cut away the squareness, to leave my 'chord' portion.. But that cuts into the other side, so i can only modify one side, while mutilating the other..) And the 'extend' don't work, cuse I'm grabbing the teh same face edge
