Started a new job this week and installed mathcad express onto my computer this morning.My question is: how do I convert all of my old ".mcd" engineering worksheets into a format that this newer mathcad version will recognize?Thanks for your time,JT

I'm in WF5.0. When I want to show dimensions in drawing mode, I go to the Annotations Tab and click on a view, then "Show Model Annotations": it obviously shows every annotation in that view, but they are all checked by default. I have to uncheck everything, then select the ones I want to keep. I always thought this was counterintuititve, but just the way ProE does it.... but we have recently started a new guy here, and I noticed that when he does the same thing on his system, the boxes are unchecked by default.There must be a .dtl or a config.pro setting that unchecks them by default. Hallo ich habe soeben Creo 2.0 installiertund wollte eine Baugruppe erstellen leider konnte ich keine Baugruppe öffnen und keine neue anlegen Es wurde auch kein Fehler angezeigt. Es passiert einfach nichts. I am asking a serious question here. Could PTC make the plus/minus operation possible? That way, there is no need to repeat the same operation, and possibly forget about the plus/minus sign? This is especially true in terms of applications in GD&T. I doubt it is hard to program, so why is PTC not making this operation possible?

I am creating part files in creo 1.0 student version and was wondering if the files could be opened in the full version programs too?Does any one have experience in opening files across the two versions of the program? Hello,My bundle allignment seems bugged.The dotted line is my network, the full lines are the bundles.This is what I get when it is NOT alligned.And is what I get when it IS alligned.Why does it turn around 1 of my bundle when it is alligned?And how do I fix this?I've tried alligning them to different points, in different orders, all at the same time, all seperatly.But that 1 bundle always seems to turn around.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. When I regenerate my assembly, I get a warning at the bottom of the screen stating;"Cannot update placement of component(M198)"Does anyone know how to find out what component is "M198". I looked for this in the old help and in the help at http://help.ptc.com/creo_hc/creo30_pma_hc/usascii/index.html#page/pma/introduction/about_PTC_creo_help.html Neither place mentions string_length(). But at http://www.mcadcentral.com/creo-drawing/14098-string-functi-ns-proe-relati-ns.html one responder has string_length in a list extracted from some version of Help file.As in the title - is string_length() still a valid relation function? Dear all,We have our companies products set up in Windchill products. We now want our Change Management process to automatically assignan implementation plan activity to an assignee. These assignees are member of a Product (context)role.I am able to create the implementation plan activities, but I can not seem to get to the principals in the context team roles.Below is the code I am testing to retrieve te principals in the PRODUCT MANAGER role. Hello,l have a problem with swept blend feature. Can´t put right "control points" together and results swept blend is rotated.What i have tryed:- hangling white points around all vertexes- rotate sketches- redefine secondary sketching plane (know sometimes it makes similar rotating with boundary blend feater)- define swept blend X-direction (just tryed my luck --- not familiar with this)Part file should be attached. First question: Could you explain me what is wrong with second swept blend feater? Second question:Do you have any idea how to do middle part better way? Just in 1 feater without merge? I've just encountered a problem when installing Creo 2 on a machine in te building. I've installed it onto many others using the same method, we also have a licence server setup which takes care of the licencing of Creo 2. However after installing the software this time i'm getting a licencing error saying it's not valid for that version. Does anyone know if the Installer looks on the internet for updated files for the software and could this be what is causing the licence issue?   Thanks   Chris

Hello, I have a set of 48 wires curves that are oriented along a cylinder to give me structure of a stent. Then I import these wire as part in Creo Parametric to give the stent wires 3D structures. Every time I sweep the wires I have to select each wire separately and sweep them 48 times. Is there a way to sweep all the wires at once? Hi all, I am trying to create a Report table for my assembly using Repeat region. The assembly components are not of the same material and hence have different weight .I want the table to show the weight of each component used in the assembly. Can it be done using Repeat Region? I wanna make a template file which can automatically place style curves on a layer .in the default template file, it can automatically place sketch curves on a layer , coordinate and planes for layers, but cannot set for style curves. why ? any one could help me . thanks much in advance.

There is a script command called getTransactionContext in the Server Bean. In the description, it mentions a map that can be used to pass information from one script to the next during a transaction. I cannot find how to set or add to this map however.Would someone please let me know how to add to this map?ThanksMark
