How to make computers that have different IP scopes, but in one domain to be read on the client's computer? Or is there a way to add servers manually instead of choosing from the Microsoft network?Me and my coworkers still haven't figured out how to read the servers on computers that have different ip scopes but in the same domain.    Hoping to get a solution 

Version:Creo Parametric 5.0.6.0 OTK C++Description: I tried a lot of combination of using RetrieveSymbolDefItem method but they seems don't get the right object.For example I'm using it like this :pfcDetailSymbolDefItem_ptr pDefSymDefItem = pOwner->RetrieveSymbolDefItem("circlerevice.sym", pfcDTLSYMDEF_SRC_PATH);Of course my pro_symbol_dir  is set and the symbol I want to retrieve("circlerevice.sym") is in the directory.I've tried add fullfilepath and change pfcDTLSYMDEF_SRC_PATH to pfcDTLSYMDEF_SRC_SYSTEM along with move symbol file from user defined dir to system symbol dir but the method still doesn't work.Can somebody help me?Thanks a lot. I think it would be better if those API document come with same demo code.

Hi Guys,   I tried to enhance mathcad Prime's page counter as the counter does not allow starting with a page number other than 1. So I'm using a textbox as a page counter. In this textbox I have an input and an output. The counter shall increase by one on each consecutive page making it possible to combine several files into one. Or so I thought. For some reason I can't hide or collapse the left side of the textbox which makes it appear ungainly. I've tried to hide it and to collapse it. To no avail.   Does anybody have an idea what I'm doing wrong? Raiko P.S. I'd prefer to have this textbox in the footer, but prime does not accept it. Any idea how to change this?

I'm looking for a solution to modify the decimal places shown in the bend note in a sheet metal flat pattern. The default is 2 decimal places & its shown in the sheet part bend note as shown in this example below: ∠&benddir__&BendDim90_00° This needs to display as a parametric dimension in the drawing & not as a workaround. I am submitting a support case as well. @ links to members The versions of Creo I currently use are 9.0 & 11.0

Hi, I am using a date picker widget on a popup  on ThingWorx 9.5, for some reason when I select a data from the calendar, the pop-up closes automatically. Is it a known bug? and is there any work around? Thanks in advance.

I have an issue with Creo Parametric 11 - Once I hide a part, there is no way for me to save the visibility status. Take the following steps as an example:Open assembly with 2 partsHide 1 partAttempt to save ("save part" works, but "save (visibility) status" is greyed out)Further info: Once I hide parts, I can see them under the "Hidden items" under the layer tree, yet I still cannot "save status".Close part (Including erase not displayed, close creo, etc.)Reopen part. (Once the part is reopened the hidden part is no longer hidden.)I used to do this on Creo 7 constantly. Has this changed? Is there another way to do this now with the visibility/layer tree status? I do not want to use simplified reps, because I want to hide many parts quickly and then go back to my original view by using a "reset status" mapkey. Simplified reps take too much time (or too many clicks per part rather than hide), especially on large assemblies.

I am trying to find the easiest way to make a pdf and dxf of a sheet metal part in creo 8. The current way I achieve this is by having a part and drawing with the same name and then a separate drawing with partname-dxf. This dxf drawing is not copied when a new part is generated when save a copy is used. Is there a way to have this extra drawing copied as well. The pdf is needed by our break press operator to show bend locations. The dxf we make is of the part in saved flat view with hidden lines removed for a machine to cut out that can only read dxf files.  I have been thinking of ways to add this dxf drawing to the drawing that that shares the part name, however this comes with problems of its own.1. The drawing format we use has number of sheets in the corner, so by adding the dxf drawing increases the number of sheets. I was able to set the total to a parameter in the drawing but then it has to be set manually if the drawing pages increases. is there a way to change the

The source is not clustered and the target is clustered.Description: File vaults will not validate when set to the proper UNC path instead are defaulting to the local vault instance. I am under the impression that vault configuration data may be stored in the database and may have been wiped, potentially looking at how to restore the proper settings. Good morning, I have a problem connecting to some OPC UA Clients.Sometimes I get this warning:Warning OPC UA Client XYZ.B&R | Read request failed on device. | Status description = 'The operation timed out.', Status code = 0X800A0000.When it happens some tags are in 'Unknown' quality and until I force a synchronous write the status cannot return to "Good" status. I tried to change "Asynchronous Reqst Timeout", but increasing it immediately returns the value to the default of "1000". Let me know please.Thank you.Regards

Hi All, I know the basics of creating a section view. i am trying to get a specific section view if possible? below are images. I want to cut a section view on this part shown in the first image just like this with the arrows placed the way it is, but only show this specific part and not the whole part (shown in image 2). how can I do this? I tried so many ways, but cannot do it. the only way to do this is by creating a square cut to only obtain that area. by doing this, the arrows on the main view will be weird( Image 3 & 4). is there a possibility? thank you all 

Hello, Besides assigning yourself as one of the Reviewers and waiting until everyone else has signed off on a PR, is there a way to "self-demote" a PR? For example, you push it through and then realize you made a mistake on a drawing. In our current workflow, we have to ask one of the reviewers to mark their task as rework. Is there a way to do this yourself? Thanks!

It's been a few years since I had to do look into this.We have a Change Notice that is a Workflow at the Org level. The OIR calls out the lifecycle and Team Template.The team template has no uses or groups in the roles (it's at the Org level).What is happening is that all the Roles in the workflow at the Product context level are being populated with everyone in that same role in the product context team.I created a new OIR at the Product context and it calls for a new Team Template with just a few people in the roles but it still populated everyone from the Product context team?If I reset the team it does the same thing - everyone.What am I missing here? Thanks.
