Hello,Using this fit formula from below, how to determine a, b and c coefficients in such a way to fit the below plot Core Loss vs Flux density: or   So, I think (but I do not know how to do) to read all the data points of each line (300kHz, 200kHz, etc) and then to make the curve fitting by using genfit Mathcad function, minerr or something like that.

I'm modeling an object that I want to add embossed/debossed text onto, in a manner similar to what's illustrated here. I want to be able to make the text easily editable, because it will serve as a label providing identifying information on the different permutations of this object. If I try to go back and edit the text in the original sketch, it breaks the offset command later in the feature tree, because the specific curves that were projected in order to define the sketched region to offset no longer exist. In the offset command, is there a way to tell Creo to project whatever closed curves exist in the original sketch, such that when the sketch is edited to include new text, the offset feature will be updated to reflect the new regions present in the sketch it's projecting from? Apologies if any of this is weirdly phrased or if this is an obvious question, I'm a beginner in Creo. Using Ver. 10.0.3.0

I'm encountering an issue with a CAD drawing part where the version is labeled as B2. The problem arises in the `epmDocument` table where the `[versionLevelA2versionInfo]` value is consistently showing as 1. Despite there being 6 versions (A 1, A 2, A 3, A 4, B 1, B 2), all records display the value as 1. This issue persists across all data entries, although the versions appear correctly in Windchill.What could be causing this discrepancy, and how can I resolve it? Additionally, is there another method to check the versions of these parts via SQL? Note that the same issue is observed in the `wtpart` table as well.

One of our designers had a problem modifying a Family Table that he created so instead of asking for help, went and created 3 independent part files with the sme number scheme.Now I want to merge them into the family as instances.Is this possible to do with Windchill 10.0 m040? I know I could do it with Intralink 3.3.Is there a PTC document that explains the process or has someone got a cheat sheet for the steps involved.Thanks.

Hi,    Found this issue bizarrely on a customer server however the following did not resolve it:    -  wt.index.enabled was already true  - Recreated org level indexing policy for WTObject > All > WBLIB - Deleted all indexing  Objects still showing no policy  - Selected "Reset objects with no policy" - Still showing with no policy  I guess this will have to be a PTC call but just wanted to share with you all.    Thanks.  

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.2 and Datecode with CPS 11.2.0.1We have a JNDI adaptor to allow us to login using our corporate Active Directory credentials. It has been working fine. Then our IT group imposed a password requirements of 20 characters minimum plus at least one special character, on the bind password for the adaptor. After making the change the Windchill method server will not start - see error below. What are the requirements of the bind password? I am curious what goes on behind the scenes with using trustedHosts setting. I am knee deep in on playing with SSO but still have some accounts that are not using SSO (not AD). This help doc points to using trustedHost parameter:  https://support.ptc.com/help/wnc/r12.1.1.0/en/index.html#page/Windchill_Help_Center/WVSPrintManagement/WVSVisualizationFormbasedAuthentication.html Seems like doing this, I can remove the password from auth.properties for my publishing user. From what I knew before with basic auth, the creds would get passed to the CAD worker with would start a Creo session and register a workspace just like a normal user. I would expect that to hit the webserver which is configured for SSO. What black magic occurred since it appears like Windchill trusts all connections from that host? How did it not get blocked by the webserver?  I may need to explain for our security folks. Is there any other alternate configurations for the publishing user when configured for SS

So I have imported a part from Solidworks to Creo and I no longer have access to the Solidworks account. How do I check the dimensions of the part in Creo, even though it was originally saved as a Solidworks part? Thanks!

Is there any way to move text around the sheet without it snapping to grid? I need to move some text in between two grids to put over an image. The lines of the image do not line up with the grid perfectly.

I'm not even exactly sure how to ask this question so if I seem ignorant that's only because I am. I assume that I'm having an issue understanding a fundamental concept of interacting with an OPC UA server.  I'm attempting to create an OPC UA client in Python to ultimately read values that originated from Modbus PLC registers. The targeted PLC is successfully connected to KepServerEX6 and values from registers are being pulled into KepServerEX Project>Channel>Device>Tags perfectly. The data (values from PLC registers) is being and has been successfully used from this KepServer by another application for several years so KepServer and connections to multiple PLCs (multiple brands) is working just fine. Python code completely aside, in a 3rd party OPC UA client application (UaExpert), I can connect to the OPC UA server, I can see a lot of things about the server/KepWare, (Root/Objects/Server, ServerCapabilities, ServerDiagnostics, etc) but the Objec

This issue continues the same problem I presented yesterday. This calculation was also easy to do in Mathcad 15, but I am having trouble getting it to work in Prime 10.I have marked the part of the calculation sheet that is not working in yellow.You can see that I calculated the normal to be cylinder using symbolic calculation and tried to use it afterward to calculate the magnitude of the normal vector to be used down the sheet to calculate the total current. However, now Prime 10 does not recognize the results of the symbolic calculation to obtain the magnitude of the normal vector. See the attached file. Thank you in advance, Rogelio

Hello to all,After converting a Mathcad 15 file to Prime 10, I encountered an issue with calculating the gradient of a vector function. While it works seamlessly in Mathcad 15, the same function does not yield the expected results in Mathcad Prime 10. Is there anyone familiar with this issue who can tell me what needs to be adjusted or modified in Mathcad Prime to make it work?I am attaching a file with the function and the gradient, as I converted it from Mathcad 15 to Prime 10. I really appreciate any help you can provide. Rogelio

I am suffering a similar (though much more repeatable issue).When we as a company upgraded to Prime I was the only one that could not use the symbolic engine & when I raised the issue it was fixed within 2 weeks. Since then I have had a laptop upgrade & it has reappeared.a repeat of the IT ticket has not resolved the issue. Even the simplest task causes the symbolic engine to crash: is the final response after many minutes of the sunflower twirling. Sheet is attached, but probably not helpful as I can give it to colleagues who don't get the same problem. For them it quickly returns the expected 4/9result. I keep harassing Martin the local IT guy, but all he can do is refer it up the chain & hits a wall. Any suggestions of things to try would be appreciated. ThanksAndy  (too)

Hi guys, can someone assist me with this one please? Seems like it should be fairly straightforward but it's got me stumped! A bit long-winded to explain so bare with me. I have data representing mass of concentric steel pipes and mass of the cement in the annuli of the pipes, bonding the pipes together, in separate arrays. The pipes/cement are long and get cut into manageable lengths. The columns in each array represent the remaining mass after each cut. The rows in each array represent each pipe or cement 'donut'. Hopefully this diagram helps, which is a cross-section through the pipes/cement, looking at one half only. Hello All,      I have a datagrid widget in which i am showing some entries as you can see in the picture below i can choose which parameter to show and which do not. when i select the parameters and save changes then it appears and shows me but then when i open the mashup next day again then its again gone and do not show me the parameters which i have selected to display on the mashup in datagrid. I want the parameters which i selected to show me always there until i do changes. anyone has an idea about it?

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0Trying to use basic ODE solvers like rkfixed within a solve block. My goal is to solve a pair of nonlinear ODEs (intial value problem) which are not linear in the highest derivative term, using state space if possible. I need to use the iterative solver block because reducing the ODEs to standard form is quite difficult. the odesolve function cannot handle these equations. Are the basic solvers usable in a solve block for this type of problem? If so, an example sheet would be very helpful, the documentation and forums have not been enough. I have begun trying to solve the simple spring/mass system this way, before tackling the full equations, but not yet successful.Here are the errors that I facedVariable undefined. Creo 9.0.4.0 Educational Edition I came across this problem when I try to use a pin connection to assemble the component "SELF-LOCKING-MECHANISM.ASM".  The assembly was smooth and seems no problem, but when this is done I try to drag the component to see if its going to rotate correctly, Then this pin connection is not working and software had a small error reply, I cannot correctly drag this part.  The software tells me that "The connection "Connection_29" of component SELF-LOCKING-MECHANISM.ASM from CLIMBING-ASM.ASM with id path [ 132 ] will be suppressed because of invalid constraint(s)."   All the related information are highlighted in the pictures above.  Hoping to find any skilled people that can help me to sort this out.  Much Much grateful thanks!!!
