Hi everyone,I’m looking for some guidance on how to implement an administrative workflow in PTC Windchill.We have a requirement where, once a year, we want to automatically send a task to all Product Managers in the Windchill application. The purpose of the task is to ask each Product Manager to manually review their Product Team and confirm that the team members and information are still correct.The expected behavior is:1. The workflow/task should be triggered once every year.2. It should identify all users who have the Product Manager role and assign them the task.3. Each Product Manager should receive a task asking them to review their Product Team.4. The Product Manager should manually perform the review in Windchill.5. Once the review is completed, they should be able to Complete the task.6. There should be no Reject option for this task. The only available action should be to complete it.7. We purchased a perpetual license for KEPServerEX 6.6 in 2018 through a reseller, INRAY (bundled with their FAS Server software).The system had been running smoothly without any issues until August 1, 2026, when the following error suddenly began appearing in the event log: Licensing - License for feature Siemens TCP/IP Ethernet cannot be accessed [error=-157] and must be reactivated.In the License Utility, the status for the Manufacturing Suite product is currently showing as Status - Broken: Anchor. (Note: We have not made any hardware changes, MAC address modifications, or VM migrations recently).Our reseller, INRAY, has declined to assist us because we do not have an active support contract with them. Hello,We received from customer Bend table in format which SolidWorks read well, so we are trying to apply that in Creo (Creo 11.0.3), but as we noticed Creo has a little bit different format. It has radius and thickness and values inside are bend allowance if i understood correctly, and the table from SW have thickness, radius , bend angle (which is not affecting k-factor if u see table, so it can be ignored), and k factor as value derived (0.618, 0.619, 0.693....). Does anyone know how that should be applied in Creo and have maybe some examples, or is bend table a right way in Creo to apply this.

Hello Creo 12 users,I’ve recently been having a problem with creating curves.When I go to Options for the curves and adjust the points, the curve jumps back to a different shape after I click OK.  It looks as though the points aren’t being saved.I’ve attached a video.Does anyone recognise this problem and have a solution?Thanks and best regards,Ramon Bohne(Siemens Energy)

Hi there. I built a pretty typical 4-axis desktop CNC machine with an ‘A’ axis which rotates in the positive X direction and controlled by Mach3 on a USB controller. Overall it works well for any 3 axis milling/roughing/surfacing operations. See below configuration.Unfortunately when I go to set up an indexed 4-axis program, the included post processors in Creo skip the NC path’s rotate command:AAXIS,  ATANGL,  -90.000000and do not include it in the exported .tap/ G-code. I assume this is normal as most of the included post processors are only for 3-axis machines.However, I have attempted to “roll my own” using the included option file developer, turn on a 4th axis option, and using the UNCX01.P11 post processor as a base model, but no luck so far.The material removal simulation in Creo shows the appropriate rotation happening. I can also manually type in the “A -90.0” command into the exported G-code in the proper spot, which works great on the machine and allows me to accomplish my g

I recently got Fanuc option G93 for Inverse Time Feed installed on a Toyoda FH500J.  I am working toward a goal of having an edit free post for that machine.  Right now, I get several lines where an F0. is placed before a B rotation.  I end up replacing any F0. with a more appropriate feed rate in the G-Code file.  It works, but its not a perfect solution.The part that will be the first part I cut with this is a 12” cylinder with a helical swept groove.  It is a constant pitch.  I don’t know why there should be many feed rate changes at all, but the way the post writes it is with a change on almost every line.  Then there are the F0. that definitely need to be edited prior to running.Anyone else out there using G93 on a 4axis horizontal?  Any thoughts on what I am seeing?I am using a cutline milling path and a 1/2” ball end mill.  The groove starts at the top and bottom where the cutter basically makes a u-turn as it works its way down (helically) to the center of the groove.  The spin

I have an assembly which I want to save a copy of. However, one subassembly throws an error which I would translate to english like "Model ~~.asm has been renamed by references." I have already tried saving the particular subassembly as a copy and replaced the subassembly by its copy. But this way, I was not able to make the error go away. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Please let me know if you need additional information to be able to comment on the question!

Use Case -  I need to add a Custom Attribute named as “Latest Revision” as a column beside the ootb “Version” column on a affected objects table. Is there a way to automate the collapse or expansion of areas depending on user input above in a worksheet?  Maybe by use of JScript or Python?

Our Windchill system creates a Default rep, a Post Publish rep, and a PVZ Publication Graphic using a PostPublish Delegate. But there are several parts in the resulting PVZ Publication Graphic that will not display, although they show up in both the Default and Post Publish rep of the source assembly.The problem components do happen to be models that were imported into Creo Parametric, but I would expect the same behavior for all outputs, not just the Publication Graphic.Everything was created at the same time and viewed in Creo View with the same settings, so I can’t figure out why there would be any difference in that one PVZ versus the other two.

The guidance we received was essentially:- There is no standard published checklist, and no customer examples were available to share.- For Windchill+, system-level validation is performed by PTC; verification of customer-specific business processes is the customer's responsibility.- A full UAT is not expected. The recommendation is a smoke test of representative day-to-day operations, for example: login, search, access to existing documents, document create/update/check-in, visualization (CAD viewables), file download, BOM/product structure navigation, and workflow approvals where used. That makes sense as a principle, but we would like to hear how this plays out in practice. This month’s challenge is about tautochrone curves and isochronous curves. They are very similar. Both involve placing an object on the curve and allowing it to slide without friction. With a tautochrone, an object placed at any point on the curve will take the same time to slide to the bottom. With isochronous curves, objects allowed to slide from any part of the curve will have the same period of oscillation. You can think of the tautochrone as “half” of the isochronous curve, as it is only concerned with how long it takes the object to reach the bottom.In this scenario, the “top” of the tautochrone curve is at a height of 10 meters on the left side. The end point is at ( 0, 0 ). (The “top” of the isochronous curve on the other side is 10 meters on the right side.)
