I'm curious if anyone has come up with a solution that is similar to using Find() w/in a Solve Block OUTSIDE of a solve block? I ask because I'd like to have the Find() ability to iterate/solve but use it as a custom function that I can call for N instances.There is a lot of value in Solve Block Find() but I have a case where I have a lot of inputs in V for which I would like to Find() solutions. I don't see this working just using a Solve Block.  

I am looking for the most efficient/quickest way to find the row containing two values in different columns of M. The function I am envisioning would be an alteration of 'lookup': lookup2(z1, z2, A, B).I have tried a few different solutions but was hoping for quicker performance. Using the masking method provided my  @Werner_E  and the efficiency of vectorizing demonstrated by @PEAH , I came up with a decent solution but was only able to cut the processing cost by ~30% when compared to Werner's FilterMlt function he helped me with not too long ago (solid function @Werner_E !). I am planning to use this lookup2 function a couple zillions times in processing data so I was hoping to cut processing time by much more!I also compared the time to run the built-in lookup function as a baseline which averaged ~0.15s @ N=10^5. I figure, looking up two values shouldn't be much more than one, max 2x 0.15 = 0.3s, but I am not able to achieve that.MCP wor

Hi folks, Having Windchill "X" instaled on Windows "Y" - is it ok to update Windows up to Windows "Z" on this same machine??. Both of Windows are supported. In the past, when I wanted to change OS - I created new machine with new Windows, new Windchill installation, and as the last step I moved Windchill. Now I wandering if new machine is neccessary.

I need to transfer my license (PTC Mathcad Express) to another computer, as I have to return the one I am currently using. I know that there is a procedure to do this, which requires the Product Code and the HOST ID of the new computer. I was provided with a license for my 30 days trial, but I can't find a product code within the file that I received. Can somebody please help? Thanks

Hi,I created a partial view with a colored zone. Picked my point and did my spline.Now I want the exact same partial view with a regular section black and white. Is there anyway I can copy the exact origin point and spline and apply it to my second partial view that I want to be the exact same?

I have 2 ode's that I solve using odesolve. However, I can integrate one of them analytically. When I do this, I get the error message "Too many initial conditions" even though I only have one for the remaining ode. Or can I not include the integrated function in the solve block?

Hello,I want to display a model parameter on an assembly drawing.I know that I can display the parameter by adding the note: &parameter.But because the model is an assembly I have to add a number behind it if I want to display a parameter of a model in the assembly structure. like: &parameter:<number>.How can I find out which number I have to use for which model in the assembly structure?(At this moment I am doing it with trail and error 😞 )

Hello everyone. I wanted to use the refprop database in Mathcad. Hello.Is it possible to set the velocity of a servo motor depending on the load applied to it, inside a dynamic analysis?For example, the linear drive (or hydraulic cylinder) below, would have a variation on velocity, depending on the angle of the arm, due to the variations on torque applied to the electrical motor (or pump).This would go according to the motor's torque and speed curve.And, how to give a maximum speed? I am using Creo Parametric Release 3.0 and DatecodeM010In my model I have two parameters that read : DESCRIPTION_LINE_1 and DESCRIPTION_LINE_2. These two lines show on my drawing title block as two lines of text if the description of the part is too long to fit on a single line.Is there any way to combine these two parameters so that in my BOM on an assembly drawings both lines of the description appear?Currently I am only getting the first line of the description based on the report parameter asm.mbr.description_line_1

I am still investigating but twice this week we've had issues where our DB (Oracle 21C Standard) would freeze up. All Windchill threads would pause and stack up. After 10-20 mins, the system would come alive but freeze again shortly large. We saw this Monday and this lasted for a few hours. Things were fine until this afternoon when issue returned. We were not able to determine the root issue but we know its database related. We capture ORA-00742 error in alert.log (log read detects lost write in thread string sequence string block).  My DBA is chasing down any Oracle related bug or setting issue. I started looking into what was going on at that time. Very close to that time, a user checked in a massive 1200 component assembly new. It looks like it succeeded since I can see the jobs filled up the publishing queue. I can also see that they were working in a massive workspace on Monday as well, 2400+ objects, basically some garbage, crappy STEP import.  My questions is these: i

The problem started after the upgrade to WC 12.0.2, which introduced JasperReports. Is it possible to pattern a pattern of patterns?I am able to create a pattern of patterns, but i would like to know if i could create another level.I have tried several times, but pattern interface is disabled. See the image below, can i create another element that creates a pattern which includes father and sons?

Hello, I would like to generate a 2D - .pdf-drawing from a file, which is an .dwg file.This file consists of one sheet which consists of three drawings itself (this is strange itself I think). See attached screenshot "File_View". There you can also see the strange reprensentation of the drawing itself and esoecially its figures and characters.  When I safe this .dwg file as an .pdf file / drawing (even with 600pdi) its not usable in my view - see atachement "Drawing_pdf". I zoomed in for the screenshots. The font and the size is the main problem I guess. The smaller drawings are even worse - see "Drawing_pdf_4" as an example. CREO tells me, the size is 291.147 by 80.4057 (I guess "mm"). I dont know how to slice the drawing up into different sheets and how to change the size if its even necessary. The drawing comes from CN. If you want import or export info or any other info - please tell me.  Can someone help me or does someone have a clue what the pr
