I've read the help and old posts from 2013 on this topic. I can see that this uses the old template processors and the developer is 8 years retired to Shangri-La. So who here has mucked with this? Users are asking for some basics for both workflow task emails and notification emails: Put PBO number in email subject Remove unneeded attributes from email body (who cares who created Product area) Pass more attribute detail in body of email like workflow attributes.  Windchill help has this confusing verbiage about "Subject" templates. What the heck is that? Does this pick a template based on the task name? Who wrote this? Lastly, is there a complete listing of all possible methods that can be called? It might be worth it to extend it and add more custom methods for more functionality. Windchill 11.1 BTW.

Hey Guys!    I currently try to send payloads to my MQTT Broker. The MQTT-Broker is under a public IP. My target is to hit a button in Vuforia Studio which then sends a payload through Thingworx to my MQTT-Broker. The Broker is already connected to Thingworx & I am able to receive data in Thingworx and picture that data in Vuforia Studio. At the moment I don't know how to send payloads so it would be great if someone could help me getting one more step towards my goal.   Thank you in advance!      

I want to download the source control entities folder structure present in an "Azure DevOps Repo" to a "Thingworx Repository" through API. Kindly suggest the service to be written.   Once the download is complete, I want to call Import Source Control Entities service to complete the deployment.

Hi Guys,So we have a plotter that used to be to be on the network.I was able to have my .pcf file point to this. Below is my .pcf file.Plotter was on network “...”Plotter called “...” plotter postscriptbutton_help Print C sized ANSI to Ricohplotter_command windows_print_manager “...”delete_after_plotting yespen_table_file “...”paper_size Cplot_label NO plot_stroke_text YES  Now we are pointing directly to the printer on some older windows 7 computer.printer address is: “...”printer is called “...” What should my .pcf file look like. I cannot seem to get anything to print. I tried editing the above .pcd file and just calling out the printer name with no luck. plotter_command windows_print_manager “...”also tried:plotter_command windows_print_manager “...” Do i need to change the plotter call out to something other than postscript? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Plotter prints fine in other software on these older windows 7 computers. My end goal is to bring parts into Autodesk moldflow, have surface splits exactly where my gate location is. This will allow Moldflow to populate a node exactly where I want it, allowing me to create a beam off that node and create my gate in the precise location. Solidworks has a feature called "Split Line" that allows you to use sketch entities to split a surface, or face of a solid body, into separate surfaces and/or faces. A lot of the posts I've seen pertain more towards having the ability to change the color of the faces/surfaces. In my search I found the following solution: "1. Copy and paste the surface you want to split. 2. Trim the surface the way you want it. 3. Apply a warp to the surface. Don't make any actual changes to it; just apply a warp feature and hit green checkbox. 4. Solidify it. It will now show up as a separate surface that you can paint in a separate color." I tried this but it does not split every surface, and with the few parts I've tried

Does anyone know if you can import an image into Creo then use that image to create a piece of sheet metal with that shape. Below is the image I want to import and turn into a piece of sheetmetal. I'm working to create some container images for Thingworx and I'm looking for a way to script the import of Thingworx extensions, unfortunately the only documentation that I've found about that explains how to import using Composer. Is there any API or external call that I can do to import an extension?

Hi,Can some one help me how do you extrude a scale on a cylindrical part with the numbers from 1 to 10 the easiest way. The only option i have found so far is making a lot of planes and extrude the numbers individual. I am seeking a smarter way to do it, because i need to do it with many more numbers  

I am using Mathcad Prime 7.0 7.0.0.0.Our first installation of MathCad Prime is installed on a Windows10 client. Is there a function that allows to differ top and bottom components?   I use ProSolidDispCompVisit to visit all components. Put all in an array with ProArrayObjectAdd and loop all models. Hello, is it possible to convert MCDX-files backwards to MCD-files? Best regardsMichael

Any time I open a tool or click on anything that opens a pop up window (such as the options button or currently the profiles function with in framework) the window opens up so tall that I can not see the bottom making it impossible to use. I cant even re-size or drag the window upward to be able to see the bottom. How do I fix this?

Hello Creo peopleI created couple of cosmetic sketches to show paint masking area on my solid part.In my drawing of that part, I can see those sketches only on my ISO view, but not on front or any other projected views.Any idea how to make cosmetic sketches visible? How to control it?Thanks

The config.pro option online_resources_location is not effecting the default Online resources.As a test I changed this option to:online_resources_location https://community.ptc.com/But when I open "File: Help: Online Resources" it still goes to the default location, which I think is:https://www.ptc.com/en/creo/start-page/wildfireAm I doing something wrong is is this just broken?  I have never used this before.   I am using Creo4 M140.

I encounter the wrong output of the calculation.Equation[x y z] := [x=A, y=x, z=sqrt(x)]T --> solve,x,y,z,Of course sqrt is input as mathematical root actually.The output becomes;[A A 0]The z value is wrong.How can I fix this?
