We noticed that amended quantities in Inventor BoM don't transfer over to the WTPart structure. In the example below the qty of M0030387 has been modified in assembly but the WTPart BoM shows the qty of model occurrences (2) instead of the desired qty (13). Has anyone come across this before?   Regards Rob

Hi All,    I am using Postman (calling RESt API) to create things and network. I was successful in doing so. Now I am trying to build the hierarchy in the network for the things that are created. The catalina log has been closed.   I have Tomcat 9.0.37 and Java 11.0.9 in my local machine.   Also let me know how to set JAVA_OPTS using bat file as I am unable to locate "setenv.bat" file under Tomcat directory.   Kindly help.

I have a program that works (PPPWorks_12_19_2020) for solving a system of odes using Radau with the Jacobian (I am using this because the solutions have peaks which are slightly better resolved with this choice). I made what I thought was an innocuous change (PPPNoWork_12_19_2020) adding the equation dA=0 so that I could set the value of A in the initial conditions. Now the calculation for the Jacobian grinds away for a while, then crashes MathCad. What did I do wrong? Maybe I now have two many equations d(...)= 0 for setting parameters in the IC? Any suggestions?

Hi,   I have installed and configured Azure IoT Hub connector 3.0.1 in Thingworx version 8.5.1.  I have added JSON parameters list to IoT Hub device Thing and bind the properties Remotely, Data is getting updated to properties. Where I can see the complete IoT Hub JSON data instead of Parameter wise in Thingworx .Could anyone help me on this?   Regards, Latha

Can someone explain what's going on with article numbers?  The URL makes it look like they've had three digits added to them, but the article number displayed on the page does not include these extra digits. Are the articles also going to be updated to include these extra digits?  I'm in the habit of using the URL to snag the article number, but now I'm hesitant to do that.  Just curious what the end goal here is.  Thanks.

Trying to follow the Mars Project with the interactive Dashboard where an image is background, seems only be possible with the legacy responsive Design. Has anyone a tutorial / example - how to set images in a layer behind other widgets like labels and gauges. When I am setting the image as background it is not responsive anymore and gets stripped away when the size of the window changes.   Goal: Set the image and add other widgets on top that has fixed positions like in the Mars Project example (where the passengers and weather warnings are displayed as labels on top of the image).   Looking for a way how this is done in ThingWorx 9 (in 8 it is quite straight foward) - Currently running on ThingWorx 9.0.2-b136. - Thank you!

I try using Solve Block to find the solution of an equation by fixing "FS" to a constant value using the variables "alpha" and "w".  But it doesn't seem like working even it shows no error message.  Also, the unit for "alpha" supposed to be in "degrees".     The file is attached.  The first part of the worksheet calculate FS using the correct "alpha" and "w" values.  The solve block on 2nd page used the trial values of "alpha" and "w" to solve the equation.   Please advise.   Thanks,   Vincent

Hi there!   I created a custom READ only role (by following documentation) and I could remove Composer tile from composer. But if the User enters the http://<domain>/Thingworx/Composer/  URL in the browser they get, although limited, still access to the ThingWorx Composer. I'd like to change the behavior by changing the response (to not responding at all, responding 404, or redirecting) so that the user can't see the Composer at all. Is it possible to export nested infotable in excel: I have a infotable which contains an other infotable. I'm struggling with displaying the data from the nested infotable. InfoTable A : { name: "toto", address: { number: "2", road: "pin"} }   I can easily display name by referencing it with {{name}} in excel template but i'm not able to reference number and road. Hello Everyone.   For a customer we recenlty migrated to TWX 8.5 to 9.0.3.  Instead upgrading system we did install from scratch to new server using TWX installer  and copy entities from  8.5.       Our major problem is Subscriptions.  Almost all are remote things are bind to Kepware and getting data from various machines. After upgrading most of our Things their subcriptions imported as Disabled. We had to manually Enable most of our Subscrptions. The method we did use to create subcription is to create subscription either on the ThingTemplate or ThingShape level to which Things to inherit.    After monitoring for two weeks our Application Logs are crawling with the Error = Error Executing Event Handler '<subcriptionName>' for event Type.Thing:Entity.<thingName>:Event.DataChange:Property.<propertName> which is mandatory to use this DataChange event on Things to run our logics But they are simply dont work wa

I have a custom dropdown widget that I noticed when implemented doesn't update when some options are selected. I checked the console logs and the error that comes up is:   "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'dataMgr' of undefined"   It occurs when updateSelection() is called in the code. I first thought this might be an issue with my data source feeding the widget but the dropdown selection works completely fine when the mashup is previewed in the Composer with no errors occuring.   Any ideas what could be causing this issue?    

Is there any config to make WVS publish rules language independed in Windchill 11.1?   I wanted to make a simple condition for released drawings and i noticed, that the attribute doctype and the lifeCycleState are language dependend. When i publish a drawing out of an english Windchill web interface, the docType is Drawing, when you do it from a german interface it is Zeichnung. The lifeCycleState is even more strange to me: The value is always in german (Freigegeben), independed from the Windchill user language and the Creo language settings. (I added the english one just to make sure it will work in other conditions i haven't tested..) I have also checked the resource bundles for errors in  translations, but it seems allright. In the Windchill interface the the translations are correct regarding to the chosen user language.   Workaround i found so far: Instead of checking the docType i can use the filename extension. <condition name="drawing_released"> <and&
