Hi, I'm new to Polymer and I'm trying to create my first widget using the Visual SDK.When I try to launch polymer from the simple-el folder, it doesn't give me the correct output on the browser (Chrome) (attached page1.PNG).Opening the inspector, the console shows this error:    Uncaught DOMException: Failed to execute 'define' on 'CustomElementRegistry': the name "dom-module" has already been used with this registry at http://127.0.0.1:8081/components/@polymer/polymer/lib/elements/dom-module.js:176:16     I think it is a problem due to a library conflict on npm (d3-array), but I'm not sure about it.There's anyone who has already faced this issue? 

Suppose I want to add image to any asset (while its onboarding) and I want to use File upload widget and Image widget then what is the process to achieve this functionality while onboarding as well as updating any asset image?   Please help with the logic.   Thanks in advance.

Hi Experts,   Can I configure a PTC System Monitor for monitoring multiple Thingworx instances. My use case requires me to perform system monitoring for multiple instances of Thingworx deployed in different geographical locations. Can this be achieved by deploying a single PSM solution which can configure multiple dynatrace instances (for each TWX server respectively) ?  Any directions will be really helpful.   Regards, Ankit

HelloI am having issues with the "find function". I am trying to solve for the reactions of the structure in the attached file. I've been wrestling with it for a while now and am finally asking for help.   Despite my units working out in the equations, MathCAD refuses to solve it. Hi, The default localization table , like zh-cn cannot assign project.  I have to export it separately after exporting the source code by project.   So I create a customized localization table called zh ,  but it's tokens  cannot be imported  although the tokens really get exported in the xml file .   Is this a know problem ?    ThingWorx version : 8.5.5   Regards, Sean

Hello everyone !! Is there a way to set a gadget added to a dashboard as a session parameter? The event that would change this parameter would be a double click on it.Specifically, I would like to be able to make a gadget in the dashboard 'clickable' to set a session parameter .. my final goal would be to bind data at runtime in the gadget. if the question is unclear I try to add more info .. thanks

I am trying to link a "Workflow Process" to its Change Task.  I can't get it to show the Task information.   This is what I have so far. Do I need to have an intermediate link to something else?   I am trying to link the Task to the Workflow Process.  The reason I need the Workflow Process is some of our workflows were not fully completed.  It's due to someone not taking something into account when creating the workflow.  I have a situation where the ECN shows Resolved, the Task shows as Resolved but the status of the Workflow Process still shows as Running in the Routing/Process History table. I am trying to create a report with a criteria that says the Status of the process is Running but the ECN Task is Resolved.   I can get the report to show the Workflow Process but I can't get it to show the ECN Task.  The columns are blank for the Task Name and Number.

My current instal of PTC states it is expiring in 4 days.  It appears it is a 30-day trial license versus the longer student license.  How do I avoid this shutdown in 4 days?   I have a sw_license_email_4969336.dat file in my university email.

Hello!  I'm wondering if there is any way to directly manipulate the AR scene being displayed to be able to add additional content.  I know that there have been several questions on this board about being able to dynamically add 3D widgets, with the general response being that it is not supported/not possible.  I'm wondering if it's possible to simply add a new model to the scene without having to use a widget.   From what I have seen from poking around in my files, I'm under the impression that Vuforia is using threejs to create and maintain the AR scene displayed to the user.  I know that threejs provides a variety of tools to control and manipulate a scene and that I have access to that library via the variable THREE in Home.js.  However, I've been struggling to identify the variable which contains the scene in which the AR content is rendered.   I thought maybe it could be the scene contained in PTC.GLOBAL_SCENE which can be obtained via PTC.GLOBA

Here are my steps: create a mashup drag two dropdown widget on the mashup add a service drag the service return data to two mashup view mashup when I select one of dropdown, the another dropdown will display the same value auto. See the attached screenshot. To all,   I want to do an analysis with symmetry. I have a solid model with the 2 DTMs for the symmetry. What is the best way of “splitting” the model to have the faces required to apply the symmetry conditions? to start with I simply did a ‘Extrude feature/Remove material’ thus ending up with a cut model with the faces needed Is this the only way to do it?   Thanks

Dear community,   I wrote a Mashup and a service. The logic of the service is: the input parameter is a data from the PLC. After a series of processing, the service generates a data as an output parameter, and then binds the output data to the mashup.   Now I want to realize that when the PLC data changes, the data displayed by Mashup automatically changes, what should I do?   I tried to use the AllDataChanged function, but it failed.

Hello all, I'm having a problem to select file for publishing in java code. I want to publish EpmDocument with selected one file from publish rule from java code as do it using Windchill New Representation Wizard! A new job and a new representation is created, but without any file, and it seems that adding user selections doesn't work! Does anyone have any idea how to do it? Hi,  My customer is going to use ThingWorx 9.1.0 as the production system and Tomcat 9.0.37 is the official supported version .     However ,  the customer want to use Tomcat 9.0.31 as it's their standard pre-installed version in template VM machines,  and they have hundreds  of VM machines,  upgrading to 9.0.37 will bring lots of work.    So,  the customer want to know,  is there any problem if running ThingWorx 9.1.0 on Tomcat 9.0.31 ?    Regards, Sean 

Hi,  The official supported Chromium is 85+ on ThingWorx 9.1.0.  However ,  my customer will has 100 clients to use ThingWorx in the future , and the pre-installed chrome in the client's PC is 78 (in Win7 SP1 or Win10 1909) .  It's forbidden to install new software and upgrade online in the customer's PC due to their IT policy.    So , is there any problem if use chromium 78 within win7 pro SP1 or win10 1909 on ThingWorx 9.1.0 ?    Regards, Sean

Hi Say I have an expression: Z(s):= c(s)[a(s)+b(s)]; where s is a variable When I evaluated them, they are not the same.    Z(s)=   The results is not the same as: c(s)[a(s)+b(s)]=   Please see attached for a better explanation. The bottom right row result is not the same as the bottom left result. Bottom right row is correct   I think it has to do with some kind of matrix errors   Thanks Rdliquid    

How may I get Advanced Grids Samples File. Help says to download "GridAdvancedExampleEntities-V4.0.xml from the PTC Software Downloads page under ThingWorx Foundation", but there is an extension available only "Grid-Advanced-Extension-4-2-2". After the installation neither new things nor mashups appear.    Actually, I am looking for examples for widget's Configuration property (JSON format).
