Dear all,   I am using the direction cosines to find angle (or rather, the change in angle) along a curve at specific points. But when the first part is a straight line, the change in angle should be zero (cos(theta) = 1.000) but mathcad is giving me cos(theta) = 1.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 or something and because of this, when I use the "acos" function, I am getting imaginary angles. Currently I just added a 10^-20 to the denominator and the problem seemed to go away (maybe). But is there any way I can avoid this altogether ?   The calculation sheet is attached below. Please dont mind the extreme decimal values for the "y" variables. I am attempting to programmatically add a property to a remote thing. I need to set the push type to "Always pushed", but passing a value of "Always pushed" as a parameter yields the following error:   Error executing service <Service>. Message :: Invalid Push Type : [Always pushed] - See Script Error Log for more details.   I've experimented with every variation of "Always pushed" I can think of with no luck. I have a textbox that takes input from a scanner (I'm using a hand-held Android based scanner). The user can scan bar codes and then services are run in the background once a user scans something. The textbox auto-selects, so there is no need for the user to click anywhere - he can just continue to scan different bar codes again and again, etc etc.    This is exactly the functionality I want, except I just want to make the textbox invisible. Once I change the 'visible' property on the textbox widget to be 'false', the textbox will no longer auto-select and all my functionality goes out the window.    Anyone ever run into this?

Hello,   I am hoping someone can help me with a problem I have been having for a while now. So far it has not been a huge problem to deal with but recently, with more intuitive models, I am starting to struggle putting things together.   When I first started using CREO this wasn't an issue and I dont know whether it was something I have done but now every time I want to assemble a part in an assembly or an assembly into another, the whole model turns black.   I have attached a picture for reference. The grey model is the assembly and the black part is what I want to assemble onto it.    

Hi, I have DataTable containing ID and Name of several different Things. On my Mashup i want to click on Grid row, with specyfic ID and Name and populate TimeSeriesChart with data from Thing. And also - every Thing will be added by REST Api and there will be 300 of them, so adding it one by one to mashup will not work. What is propper way to do that? Please Help.

After that, i am trying to start Zookeeper and unable to start Zookeeper server. I am getting the error. Hi, I am trying to achieve functionality similar to the vuforia studio motorbike welcome experience. I want to be able to press a 3D image button, and have a section of my 3D model highlighted a different colour. There are three different sections that I want to have their own button. My process so far has been: create 3 figures within Creo Illustrate, one highlighting each part. I then uploaded the .pvz to studio, along with the 3 .pvi files individually and did not select a sequence in the model widget. I then added the following lines to my Home.js   $scope.firsthighlight = function() {$scope.view.wdg['model-1']['sequence'] = 'app/resources/Uploaded/l-Creo 3D - TestFigure1.pvi';$scope.view.wdg["model-1"].svc.play = true;   with the function call firsthighlight(); in my click js for the image button. This seems to do nothing and I'm not sure why, any help would be appreciated! Thanks

I used to have a mapkey in wildfire where I could hi the "+" button and it would go to the next drawing sheet and I could hit the "-" button and it would go to the previous drawing sheet.   i'm having a hard time finding where these buttons are in creo 4 so I can duplicate that mapkey.   any suggestions?   thanks guys and gals   Carlos

The error I get in the ThingworxMSSQL_install.log seems to be: Step changepassword_thingworx script failed :: 1 For information, I've set up a PingFederate server (on the same server).   I also attach all the logs I collected.   I've already checked all the first resolution steps (JAVA_HOME, user admin etc...) Hi, currently experiencing an issue with localisation with the date picker. It appears that the calendar displays incorrectly in French (and possibly other languages which I haven't checked). The issue is that the days of the week are a mismatch with the actual calendar below. The reason for this is that in French the days of the week start with Monday ('Lu') where as in English they start with Sunday ('Su'). The actual calender days are always arranged as if the first column is Sunday.   Presumably there is an array of strings somewhere, but I am not able to find it to modify it. Does anyone have a solution for this, or has seen this issue also?   Thanks, K  

My repeat region (for BOM) is vertically extending for assembly and going outside of sheet. Is there a way to break or divide table so it does not keep growing vertically and could fit into sheet.   Thank you

Hi Team,   I have a device connected to a remote Thing by using an AppKey (DefaultAppkey) with no permissions (The associated User has no permissions). What I'm trying to do is:    - To use that DefaultAppkey only to have the device connected to the Thingworx (appearing in the Unbound Thing List), so that I can create a Remote Thing, a new User (DeviceUser) and Appkey (DeviceAppKey) (with specific permissions to run services and read/write remote properties)  - After completing the last step, I want to send that new DeviceAppKey to the device through a remote service (Let's call it SendAppKey_Service) and set some Remote properties.   I've made a service to create all these Entities, using EntityServices, set the remote properties and run the Remote Service to send the DeviceAppKey to the device (Let me call it CreateDeviceEntities_Service).    That CreateDeviceEntities_Service is called from the Thingworx side, by an Administrato

I tried to create a program that can calculate capacity of a concrete column. However, I had a problem with matrixs and if/for loop. Even my input is a matrix; my output of for/if loop is a number. I could not solve that. Project is attached. I would be glad if anybody can help me and solve this.

How is this parameter used? Does it take Reg-Ex as input or does it work on 'contains' mechanism? Kindly share some information/samples/examples on how to use this parameter. Hello,   I am currently working on a HoloLens experience which will be used in large physical space and the users need access to some of the information no matter whether they are near the loaded experience or not.   The HoloLens Start menu and the Vuforia Studio Experience selector menu uses the concept, which Microsoft calls tag-along. We are creating a hole table with Creo 1.0 M020 in the Drawing. The table is created successfully after we choose the coordinate system we want but the table only shows 10 holes and we have 36 in the model/drawing.How do we get the hole table to show all the holes?
