I'm trying to solve for f in an equation. All the variables in that equation are previously defined. but I can get the find function to work. this is very confusing. Can somebody let me know what is wrong with my work please? thanks !

I have values for position and values for time. But when I try to plot them I get the error "All evaluations resulted either an error or a complex result". Can someone please help? this is very confusing!

With a fresh install using the textual installer using all defaults.   if I run $ catalina.sh stop $ catalina.sh start   I get the error: *** CRITICAL ERROR ON STARTUP: Improper value found for model provider configuration password, system cannot start without valid password *** Web Application STATE is being set to ERROR! *** If I destroy the VM and reinstall, foundation runs fine after the install. But any attempt to restart will not start.   The config for h2 (created by the installer) contains "PersistenceProviderPackageConfigs": { "H2PersistenceProviderPackage": { "ConnectionInformation": { "password": "\u003caddsecurepassword\u003e", "username": "twadmin" } } }, (This is after finishing up the install of the analytics server, so it would really suck to have to start all over again)

Hello,   I need help for creating an autonaming rule for a node (partslink). I can't write correctly a rule taking account an "if" function with boolean (yes/no)   Input data :- "My part" (text)- Attribute1 (boolean)   My formula :"My part" + (attribute1==yes) ? "something" : ""   The second part of the formula doesn't work. I'm trying to make him write that if the attribute1 is "yes" then write "something". Otherwise, don't write anything more.   Can anyone correct me ? Regards, Arnaud

Please see the attached.   Not sure why the "CustomerExists" validator keeps triggering the "EditCustomerThing" service.  This service gets triggered regardless of whether the output is true or false.  It is only supposed to trigger when the output is false.

I'm trying to export a project and place it onto the hololens. I am wondering if it's possible to load the project without using a thingmark; is it possible to access the hololens's files and just place the contents directly into the application and have it start upon loading up Vuforia View?

In solidworks there is a Display/Delete Relations PropertyManager that will show all constraint for a selected line or point. Is there something similar in creo?   Thanks!

I have a drawing that was created by a predecessor. It is a general view (from the top of the part) and from the best that I can tell, it is not an instance, nor a rep., nor a section view. The view is missing a top plate so that parts beneath it can bee seen. I am not sure how this was accomplished. Any suggestions?Typically you would see the plate and the four screws.Thanks, Dale

Hello. Help me assign the value to the "text input" cell by the number of clicks on the "button" cell. For example: You click on the button once - cell "text input" takes the value "1". You click on the button twice - cell "text input" takes the value "2" etc.

I followed the instructions of the vuforia support tutorials "create and publish a mobile experience" (https://support.ptc.com/help/vuforia/studio/en/#page/Studio_Help_Center%2FBeginner_CreateAndPublish.html%23), but at the end the view app doesn´t react to the marker. Do I have to add any information or what could be my problem?

Hi,    I have purchased a Creo Advance with PDLM - Locked, but I am having hard time to access my company's Server (WindChill). They need to create a new account for me, but the system is not allowing them. Not sure how can I go about this. See the photo attached for how the WindChill looks like from our end, which is different from other. I have been told, other can easily create a new account. Please advice. 

Hi All, I currently try to use "ImagingFunctions" from Imaging Tools Extension, but i have some problems 1) I can't input image parameter. MDO requires "every part" has mass assigned... and then collects those into bodies. But I want to perform some dynamics predictions of large complex assemblies that are unfinished AND... contain many STEP objects that don't necessarily have masses assigned. Essentially, I want to ASSIGN mass properties to BODIES so that MDO ignores the incomplete part masses. Is my interpretation of documentation correct that this is NOT possible?    As a second option, my bodies are almost always constructed as stand-alone assemblies! So, I'd like to think I can ASSIGN mass of these assemblies and expect MDO to then properly ignore all information from subparts. However, I'm pretty sure I tried this a few years ago and MDO did NOT use the assigned masses as expected: It continued to compute the masses of subcomponents that had masses assigned. Or maybe just did that for 3D skeletons Anyway, it did not work and I spent a lot of time trying to get it to work.   Does anyone have advice on

Hello,   i am trying to get the data from my PIR motion sensor to the remote PiThing i created in the Quickstart guide. i added this code in the PiTemplate.lua   properties.PIR = { baseType="NUMBER", pushType="ALWAYS", value=0 }local sensorCmd = io.popen("python etc/custom/templates/11.py")s = sensorCmd:read("*a") properties.PIR.value = s   and i tried with 2 types (with and without a loop) of python code (the code works fine if i am trying it from terminal only in the raspberry Pi, does not work in TW) that i attached.   the other sensors as in the guide work just fine, only with this one i am not getting any data, event though the remote thing sees it as a property   can anyone please help?

Hi.I'm trying to hide some 3D-Labels and 3D-Images in the Canvas to have a better overview while developing my experience, but it does not work. If I select the widget and click the "Hide Components"-Button nothing happens. Do I miss something?Is I click on the widget the Button is active but the widget still vissible??? I have a question regarding Dynamic Frequency Analysis (DRA). The FEA model that I am working on have quite a few modes (20). I want to run the DFA using different damping values for different modes but I only see field to enter different damping values is limited to only 4 modes. Is this a bug or is there another way I can enter different damping values for different modes. Am I missing something ?   Normally based on the structural complexity, I have anywhere from 15-100 modes for different systems that I analyze. FYI, I am using Creo 4.    Thanks !

Hello, How to check the CSS properties of a widget?   For the help tutorial, the drop-down widget shows CSS examples like select or .item.   Buttons do not tell us what properties to give when we hover or click.How do you use the buttons as well as other widgets when you want to check the detail properties?Please let me know.   Below is the CSS that I have configured so that the black button becomes gray when the mouse hovers and becomes green when clicked.Not applied. .btn { background:black; } .btn hover{ background:gray; } .btn active{ background:green; } Warm Regards, SeonHo

Hi,   I am using the Thingworx 8 Foundation Trial with Analytics Server. I am attempting to go through the guide "Build a Predictive Analytics Model'. Everything is working fine until I get to the point where I view the model.   The model is created successfully but then I select view Thingworx just gets stuck in a loop processing something behind the scenes. I checked the logs and there is nothing indicating there is a problem. Has anyone successfully completed this guide that could offer some tips? Screenshots attached. What I am expecting is some form of graph showing how accurate the model is.    Thanks, Martyn.

I have a datetimepicker widget on a mashup (TWX 8.4.1), and I'd like to limit the available range that a user can choose from. For example, my user should only be able to choose a calendar date within the past 7 days. By default, it seems that the widget has no time limits.   Anyone done this before?

All - I wanted to share a hard learned lesson when using the Utilization Subsystem to track statistics on the executed services on the platform.  The Utilization Subsystem has 4 settings on its configuration tab, and we had all 4 set to TRUE: We found that when we had the last setting set to TRUE, then our TempDB file for MS SQL Server was growing very quickly (40 - 50GB every 24hrs).  Our server was running out of disk space daily and when we restarted the server, we got all the TempDB space back and everything ran fine for another day.   We wrote an app that monitors the TempDB size on our SQL server and you can clearly see when we changed setting "Enable Statistics Persistence" to FALSE and the growth speed of the TempDB database slowed drastically.   Wanted to share with anyone else using the Utilization Statistics in 8.3 and above.  

I am looking for a option or setting in Windchill, that will allow retrieval of assembly in state it was released which includes all the sub-parts and their drawings as well when it was released "in production" refer to image attached basically, if in a released assy + parts + their drawings = all in production state, if I take a sub part and revise it and check it back in to common space, then when I download/retrieve the top level assembly, it downloads the latest version. I want the top level assembly to download sub-parts and their drawings in same revision as when they were released in production in conjunction with top level assembly
