I have a mass system that I am designing isolators for.  I'm attempting to create a new coordinate system that represents the principal axes so that I can use that to identify locations and angles for the isolators.  My problem is that when I compute the principal axes, then create a new coordinate system at the location and orientation of the reported principal axes, the location is correct but the rotation is slightly askew and I can't figure out why.  In the picture below, I would expect my 1, 2, 3 axes and X, Y, Z to be on top of each other.  I uploaded the CAD files as well.    

How can AFX (framework) use predefined parameters for the automatic component drawing function?

Hello forum members,I am using Creo Parametric 10.0.7.0 together with Creoson and Python to create a (more or less) fluid animation. In the files you can look at my code.My problem here is that whenever the value for the parameter is set and the regeneration is done the view changes so that the assembly is centered in the middle. Does anyone know how to do something against that?I'm grateful for every bit of help, thank you. Kind regards

As a company, in 2022 we downloaded Creo Illustrate 8.0. I have just started using it and am stuck on this issue. Currently, when we go into Windchill (version 11, soon will be going to version 12) we access an .asm file and convert it to a .pvz file and then use that in Creo Illustrate to make images for use in end-user manuals. Our understanding is that when a pvz is created it “breaks the link” between the active version in Windchill and what’s being used in Creo Illustrate. So, if our current model is Revision A and we have created 20 different figure views and then changes are made several times and we are now using Revision C, this means the file information in Creo is outdated, correct? How, if at all possible, can we automatically update the files in Creo Illustrate to Rev C without having to redo all 20 images? Is this can be done, how do we do it?  If this is not available in Creo Illustrate 8.0, is it available in a more current version?The pers

Version: Windchill 13.0   Use Case: Working on getting specific WTPart attributes overlaid on published drawing PDFs. Description: I thought this would be simple enough but I ended up struggling the last two days in trying to achieve the following: Code collects and makes available an EPMDocument ID. ✔️ EPMDocument could be either a drawing or a model and it will have an associated WTPart.  If this is a drawing: tried this from the community: How to retrieve drawing that references an EPMDocument from Java . This does the reverse and gets the drawing from a model. Ok. So I figured I'd do the reverse and use the  EPMStructureHelper.service.navigateReferences(etc etc) instead... from here I can't resolve either the EPMReferenceLink IDs or the EPMDocumentMasters (depending on the boolean settings) to get the related model.    It's not clear to me where to go to get the "rolename" values or "buildrule" integer values to be able

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: My company is trying to move as much information from network drives to Windchill as possible. The biggest move would be ~14k PDF drawings. I am struggling to think of a way to get them all uploaded and accessable.Description: The PDF's I've uploaded so far have been just normal documents, however, these are pretty much completely unusable. Whenever you try to download the "primary file" it just gives you a document filled with XML, and not everyone has Creo View. Which even if they did, publishing ~14k viewables seems like a tall ask for the Windchill+ job scheduler.  Any ideas? Or has anyone attempted a similar move?

Mathcad Prime V10.0.0 is failing to convert a V15 Mathcad file with a .xmcd extension. The file was originally created in a much earlier version of Mathcad - possibly V12 - but was used periodically using V15.After failing to convert, Prime creates a new file with a .mcdx extension to it. Does anyone have any advice on what the issue might be and what the next step could be? For the avoidance of doubt, I could previously open, edit, execute and save the original Mathcad file using Mathcad V15 without any issues.

Password Reset and New User Account Emails are not being sent to the users from the server. The "Send Test E-mail" button on the Enter E-mail Configuration window successfully sends emails to specified users but when resetting passwords and adding new users no emails are sent to users stored emails.The XML file has all the correct lines referenced in CASE: CS69595.

Performed in place upgrade from thingworx version 9.3.8 to 9.5.7 and several system tokens seem to be missing. Windows server 2019 MSSQL 2019. Example screenshots below. Is there a place to download the system localization tables for english and spanish? None of the custom tokens are missing it appears to be only tokens that are system that did not exist in the version I started from.

Hi, I am using external fonts and trying to apply those on thingworx widgets.I am using font-face css syntax and able to import them.I have succesfully applied the font to all the elements of grid expect the popup that shows up when pencil icon is clicked on each row to edit the values of each row. The problem arises when trying to inspect the popup. The popup vanishes when inspect is tried to know class and part details. Please find the attached screenshot with popup on the right and the popup is part of the Grid widget. Help me with css code to update font for this popup and verify the changes using inspect feature of browser.

Hi,    I have an instance where the trace logs are generating heavily, resulting in data exceeding 50GB in just a couple of hours in PROD, and the C Drive becomes out of memory, causing the entire server to crash.    I need to disable only the trace logs in ThingWorx. So if I create a threaded hole feature I can see the hole callout on screen giving me the details of the  that hole feature.BUTIf I create a counter-bored hole feature I get no hole call out.Why is this? If this is a setting that needs to be adjusted why is it not uniform by default?

Greetings:I'm really struggling to understand Creo's drawing module and one of the issues is hole callout.   I was told that the drawing mod.  does have that ability and you have to use 'Show Model Annotation"  weird but okay.  So I found out a how have hole call out show but the callout is not what I was expecting.   Need some help on this been at it for 1/2 cay and still can figure it out.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Is assembly with fix option a solid hold ? meaning it will not move . What does fix relate with in asm. Like what is it constrained to ? I hope its not free floating in space and moves uncontrol. ANDWhat is the difference between fix/default/csys ? THANKS IN ADV

Hi,  I'm currently using a trial version of KEPServer EX 6 for some testing and research. In my current set-up, I have a Matrikon OPC DA simulator server simulating some data for some tags. Then I have the KEPServer connecting to the Matrikon OPC simulator server via the OPC DA Client Driver, The KEPServer is used like a middleware to convert the Matrikon DA Simulator data into OPC UA protocol, for OPC UA clients to retrieve Matrikon DA simulator data. I am currently using KEPServerEX 6 demo and trying to establish an OPC UA connection with UA Expert for testing purposes. Hi,I am using Kepserver 6.10 and trying to communicate with Lovato DMG610. DMG610 is communicating with NB114 (Serial to Ethernet Converter) and NB114 is communicating with Kepserver. There are total 13 devices connected. I am unable to define slave and Modbus address of DMG610 in Kepserver.  Kindly provide a solution for this. I am attaching the details for further referencing.
