Creo Version: Creo 10.0.8.0 and Creo 12.4.4.0.I’m trying to figure out where the metrics files are being written.It looks like files are being written somewhere.   But Windows 11 search is terrible, so it can’t fine files I can see with my eyes.I have the config_init.mc option set as follows.DIR_METRICS    C:\ptc\mc_out\mc_metrics DIR_METRICS_NT C:\ptc\mc_out\mc_metrics DIR_REPORT_NT    C:\ptc\mc_out\mc_report (This works, so I know I have write permission)Image from ModelCHECK configuration tool shows files are being written somewhere.  (probably) 

Is it possible to complete a workflow task programmatically using Java code?For example, I would like to complete a Change Notice task programmatically rather than through the user interface. I am using Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Release 20.4 and Datecode20.4.3.0 If one of these situations happen, sometimes the CREO turns-off/dissapears (the window dissapears, as well as the icon in the taskbar) and all the work that has been done and it is not saved is lost. As the Windchill is still running, this are the steps we have to do: 1. Close Windchill 2. Reopen Creo 3. Reopen Windchill 4. Reload the cad. This has a long time consumption, as well as making us lose the work done. This situation SOMETIMES happens when: 1. The laptop is disconnected from the screens 2. The laptop is disconnected from the docking 3. Laptop enters sleep mode or autohibernation Here are the errors that I faced No warning. Only the icon of the CREO in the keybar dissapears, as well as the CREO screen.

I am using ThingWorx Platform Release 9.4 and DatecodeSP1 During installer inplace upgrade of thingwrox in windows with postgress as persistent provider. Do we need to stop the service of the existing TWX running ? I didn't find the specifics regarding this.

Attached are two images of my solve block.The example in screenshot 192200 does not work.  🥴  I am trying to define functions to be used in the equation to be solved.The example in screenshot 192321 DOES WORK.😀  I have explicitly put the functions into the equation to be solved.NOTE:  I cannot define the functions with the MATHCAD:= because I later use the solve block to compute a series of 𝛼 for a series of the parameters inside the Ans(….).Is my non working example simply not possible, or do I have some syntax or logic error? Thanks for any help.Reg

I have created a mashup and a number of services to create users from a mashup and give them a certain level of access.I am able to create and update user information as an administrator/developer.  However, I have attempted to create a user from a non admin account using my mashup and I keep getting the same error:JavaException: com.thingworx.common.exceptions.InvalidRequestException: Not authorized for ServiceInvoke on CreateUser in EntityServicesI have give all users permission to execute services for the users and read/write properties.  Are there any other permissions I need to add in order for the CreateUser service to function?  Thanks,Paul ​

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.1 and Datecode with CPS 13.1.2.6 I am working with a Product company and need access to windchill trainings, I need this to keep myself updated with latest products and how it can help the business users

I am using Windchill MPMLink Release 13.0 and Datecode with CPS 13.0.2.1 Had issues with Multi-Valued attributes in MPMLink. Adding additional values would cause the additional value attribute and clicking the dropdown list to find the specific value would cause the attribute to disappear. The Value would then appear on the view info page as entered double. This was on 13.0.2.2. We received a patch (13.0.2.11) and now we do not see the bug currently in MPMLink. Can you confirm the patch to 13.0.2.11 fixed bugs specifically to multi-valued attributes in MPMLink?

We would like to “react” to the loading of PDF representation on drawings (EPMDocument). The loading is done via the RepHelper  from Windchill Vieable Service in a separated process. Which event in Windchill should we listen at ? I thought ContentServiceEvent.POST_UPLOAD could be a good candidate, but i could not see it triggered during the load.

Hi,I am looking for solution to setup custom Fasteners that i already have in windchill into IFX inside CREO, could anyone help me please?I have added an example below to elucidate the problem.1. Model tree of the custom Fasteners i already have in windchill database looks something like this. I want to be able to create a dat file that is accessible in Creo IFX which performs the normal functions, (like size selection based on Dia of Hole and length selection based on grip length, etc )  I am aware that i need to setup Catalog file and dat file for these custom fasteners. but not sure on how to be able to access the instances inside the family table of my custom fastener inside the dat file. The family table looks like this :  How do i map these inside the Dat file ? i.e.Please do let me know if additional information is needed.Thanks ! 

Can we able to develop a web-based drawing automation application using Creo J-Link & Java Toolkit, where end users can upload the 3D data to generate drawings in web based application without opening or interacting with Creo? The drawing generation process should run in the background,  and users should be able to upload models and receive the generated drawings through the web application interface.

hole_file_resolution use internal How do I updated old files so that any hole callout they are using is saved internally, without going back through every part and updating every hole callout? Up till now, cad files have not been saving .hol files internally.The .hol files have since been updated to include default_callout_format_data. (which allowed me to combine multiple files into one)So using the same file names on .hol callouts wont work, because I was able to reduce the total number required.The main issue, now when I go to put in a hole, there are multiple ‘Thread Type’ selections and half of them will be unused going forward.But if I remove them, old files will contain incomplete hole callouts due to the ‘hole_file_resolution use internal’ not being set when the part was created.Hiding the old .hol files so they can still be read but are not displayed would be acceptable as well, but I’m not seeing any options for that.Any suggestions on how to use the new .hol files without wa

Hi everyone,I am running a kinematic/position study in Creo Mechanism and trying to graph specific measures. However, several models in the assembly contain Mass Property analysis features.This is causing severe performance lags. Mechanism is regenerating every single one of these models at every frame of the analysis to recalculate mass and surface area, even though these values are static and won't change during the run.In the Analysis feature settings, the available Regenerate options are: Always Read Only Only Design Study Ideally, I want "Always, except during a Mechanism analysis."Has anyone else run into this performance bottleneck? What is the best workaround to temporarily bypass or freeze these mass property calculations while running and graphing a Mechanism study?Thanks in advance!
