Hi, I am trying to get the datum plane handle (FRONT plane) use ProModelItemInit or ProModelItemByNameInit but it is failing.the reason is I want to use ProSelectionAllocCan some one please help me with it. Thank you. 

We tested it from different locations but the license server does'nt work.I am sure that we do not have a problem with the proxy server.Does anyone have the same problem?Question to the PTC folks: Is it possible to fix the problem?

I am trying to configure a grid widget to editable via a dropdown list in one or more columns.I have reviewed the documentation here and here. Both documents that detail JSON configuration and dropdown lists indicate statically defining the dropdown list selections in the JSON configuration directly (ie"dropdownConfiguration": {"items": ["Active", "Parked", "Undergoing Maintenance"]}Due to the potential size and expected change over time for the list of selections I would like to define the dropdown list via a service rather than statically defined in the JSON configuration.I would appreciate some guidance on how to define a data source to be used for the dropdown list

A customer wants to send 6 images via REST API, each around 25 MB. Total payload per request would be roughly 130–150 MB. After receiving the images, I need to: Store them in the FileRepository Save the path in a DataTable for later access Challenge: Sending images as Base64 in JSON would significantly increase payload size (~30% overhead). The customer prefers to send all images in a single request, not one by one. I’m unsure about the best approach in ThingWorx for handling such large payloads reliably (timeouts, limits, performance, etc.). Questions: What is the recommended approach for handling multiple large file uploads in ThingWorx via REST? Is it better to: Accept a ZIP file (Base64) and extract it server-side? I am trying to compute the equivalent annual percentage rate (APR) for a series of variable deposits with variable returns.Using the “find” function results in the error message “No solution was found...”. I tried opening up the TOL value, that didn’t help. So I tried the “minerr” function next and a different error message is displayed “Indexed assignment...”, My questions are:Which of the two errors is relevant? I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0 How would I solve this equation in mathcad: y’=(A’c*l1+A’c*l2+wcb*y’2/2)/(A’c*2+13*y’) where A’c=5.336in2, l1=26in, l2=18in, wcb=13in and y is in inches Tried using the solve block but getting errors saying variable A'c is undefined. Can solve it without units and entering the variables manually but assuming there is a better way.

Hello Ladies and Getelman, I am a student of the TU-Wien in engenering. I really like the Cad lessons and have great fun creating parts and assemplys with Creo butrecently my licensestoped working. I tryed activating it again with the installation guide providet by the TU but every time i try to put in the licencing Code It just says Error (Fehler!). I asked my proffesors about this and they just sayed that it looks like they can´t do anything and i should figure out a allternative like working on the projekts from a friends PC. But a have a assiment due the 24. and every student got a differnet one so i would have to make everything again with took an entire semester with 4 weekly hours each and many more at home. I don´t know what i can do, maybe i am just to dumb to install a new license. I would really appriciate a repply with a solution to my problem if there is one. I'm a SW user with about a year of CREO use now. I'm on CREO Parametric 10.0.4.0. I'm playing with a PCB layout, placing major components on a motherboard. So I've dropped in a PCIe card, and attached it to a PCIe Connector, and I've got power connectors, and other hand-accessible components (buttons, switches, etc). I've constrained them all to the PCB surface, and now I'd like to drag them around and figure out which layout works best for end-user and PCB design team. The only way I seem to be able to do this is to click on a component, and Edit Definition, and then drag the arrows for the unconstrained Degrees of Freedom. That's kind of okay, except that CREO seems to really think the assembly order matters. So if I place the PCIe connector first, I have to drag that around in its DoF, but that hides the PCIe card, and associated cables since those were placed later. And if I move whatever the first component is (in this case a button), every other component disappears so I hav

Hello,  Moving to Mathcad Prime 9 from V15, and noticed there are no rules or guidelines to align the different regions of the document. Any suggestions/tips/tricks to align the regions other by eyeballing them?

Mathcad Prime 10.0.1 correctly read cells from Excel which includes multiple lines (<ALT>+<Enter>), displaying de read content in several lines within Mathcad.The correct interpretation of <ALT>+<Enter> was removed in Prime 11 and 11.0.1.Formatting the displayed way of the content of read values, without this change of lines, is impossible.Is this correct interpretation restored in Prime 12?

When saving a 2D drawing as PDF, how do we stop the stroke lines around symbols, etc? This is how it looks in Creo.When saved PDF, this is how it looks: 

When I use the IDX process to create a board with KOZs that stay 0.5 mm from my PCB’s connectors, should I create references to the connector geometry directly from my KOZ sketch that is within my board model? This would mean that I would be referencing a component that is in my PCBA model instead of only using internal references to the raw card (example: the raw card’s side and front plane). Are circular references an issue with .idx files?

I went to create some exclusive symbols today and discovered what appears to be a bug in the symbol editor affecting PTC Creo from version 9.0.0.0 through the current release. When creating a new symbol with groups set to exclusive, or when adding a new group to an older symbol instance, the selections made through Menu Manager are ignored and all entities are displayed instead of only the selected entities in the group.Our current production version is 9.0.10.0, and I was able to reproduce the same behavior on clean installs of 9.0.11.0, 11.0.6.0, and 12.4.4.0.I was originally trying to copy an existing symbol created in Creo 8.0.7.0 using the same group selections, but quickly noticed the issue when entities I had not selected continued to appear in the symbol. What makes this even stranger is that the preview for the exclusive group displays correctly, but once the symbol is placed in the drawing area it behaves as though the highest-level group is active, with all entities displaye
