I am using Creo Parametric Release 12.4 and Datecode12.4.3.0 I am building a parametric model derived from an anatomical scan of the lower leg to generate a custom orthosis, with the goal of regenerating the model when the input scan changes. To define a specific point on a curve within this model, I am using a feasibility study in the BMX (Behavioral Modeling) module. The study runs successfully and returns a feasible solution, but the checkbox to save the study as a feature in the model tree remains grayed out and cannot be selected. I have successfully saved a similar feasibility study as a model tree feature in the same model previously, using the same approach, so I do not believe this is a configuration issue. The behavior appears to be specific to this study. Hi, We have a new installation of Creo and Windchill., and I am setting up the system before rolling it out to our users. I want to be able to use IFX in a multi-user collaborative environment where everyone uses the same setup, thus having the same options. I also want to store the data in Windchill.. I have configured IFX to use catalogs of the fasteners we want to use, and I have created the dat and prt files to accompany this. The dat files contain all the instances that we need, and also adds specific parameters to the files on creation of the prt instance. All of this works perfectly when in a stand alone environment on my PC. (Thanks to Oliver of B&W for his help on this) The problem occurs when I try and enable the 'Windchill' options in the IFX options. I have uploaded the catalogs and data files to Windchill, and pointed the options to these folders:When I start IFX, it creates the folder ‘PATH_ABS_WINDCHILL_DOWNLOAD’ and populates the sub-folders correctly

I propose CodeBeamer to add a function to set the default stream.Every time I login in CodeBeamer, it stays in initial stream. And I have to switch to other stream every day.

Hello, Has any configured KEPServerEX to be able to run timers between a start and end trigger tags? I want to be able to setup Operation Cycle Time Logging from plcs tags and be able to calculate the time that it takes for the operation. Example: Timer between hit of a start button and final test saying that the test passed without having to create a timer in the plc itself to monitor this operation Thank you

Hi, I have a customer that is using Kepware Server for OPC DA / OPC UA / OPC DA communication between two systems. At the moment we are having issues with certain slow updating tags (booleans and integers) that freezes and are not updated between the two systems. Continuous updating values are no issue... The issue seem to be that the tags gets timed out and are not correctly mirrored between the systems. If we create local subscriptions on the KepServer node on the actual tags the error seem to disappear. Is there a way to configure kepware to establish the subscription to the source tags regardless of the client status? We cant find any correlating error messages in kepware. 

Hi there, I’m trying to set up a connection between Modbus TCP driver in Kepware Server 7 and modbus ModRSsim2 simulator.Port 502 and device ID = 1 are used in both ends.When Kepware starts, it shows the following line i log window:   Channel1 | Starting unsolicited communication. | Protocol = 'TCP', Port = 502.   Should it be something like Modbus TCP Client/Master mode instead ?In Kepware Server 7 where do you switch between Modbus TCP Client/Master mode and Modbus TCP Server/Slave/Unsolicited mode when you set up a channel ?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance,Henrik

The assembly contains a few child components that originate from SolidWorks.When the user initiates the 2D publishing process, the publish job fails. Hello everyone, First of all, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the authors of Creoson and Creopyson for their work and for everything these tools make possible. We have developed a Python application to automate the export of DRW drawings into various output formats while applying specific file naming conventions.However, we are experiencing significant delays when our application requests Creo to access DRW files. For example, opening a relatively small drawing can sometimes take several minutes. We do not observe these delays when opening the same file directly in Creo.For reference, Creoson, our Python application, and all Creo files are hosted on an internal company server. We are trying to determine the source of these delays. The orientation of CAD representation in the Visualization tab in part structure browser and in Creo view is showing upside - down. while it is showing correct orientation when opening in Creo and also in the thumbnails in windchill. Any solution is available for this ?

I’ve been revisiting Mathcad after some time away, and I had a question about functionality that used to exist in older versions.Back when I was using Mathcad 15, I remember being able to plot vector fields (for example, visualizing a 2D vector function with arrows over a grid) fairly directly using the built-in plotting tools.Now that PTC Mathcad Prime has been around for a while and has gone through multiple updates, I’m wondering:Does the current version of Mathcad Prime support vector field plotting natively? If not, is there any recommended or standard workaround within Mathcad Prime (without exporting to other tools)? I have created an Excel document in which I calculated the start and end coordinates for strips. The total number of strips is 23. I generated the strip data using table options in Mathcad.Now, I want to perform the same calculation for strip start and end coordinates directly in Mathcad. Please refer to the calculation used in cell F42 in Excel. How can I replicate this equation in Mathcad?
