I would like to bend a solid from state 1 to 2 using solid bend/flatten quilt combination (or other solid bending Creo 2.0 functionality). In the past I have used flatten quilt to bend solids. However flatten quilt will completely flatten out the surface 1. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Hello,   I'm wondering if it's possible to define your own part sub-type. If you select New > Part a sub-type has to be selected e.g. Solid. I would like to define our own sub-type besides the already available sub-types: Solid, Sheetmetal & Bulk. Hi,   My first script in J-link, I will make an export of the part into IGES, but I can't get it to work.           IGES3DNewExportInstructions igesInstrs;         GeomExportFlags gef = pfcModel.GeomExportFlags_Create();         gef.         igesInstrs = (IGES3DNewExportInstructions) pfcModel.IGES3DExportInstructions_Create(gef);         model.Export(model.GetFullName(), igesInstrs);   As I can see I need to put in some Export Instructions, but I can't find any info about the GeomExportFlags.   Can you help, or is this the way to go?   Regards Allan Kok

Hello,Is there a way to delete application logs entries with a script from ThingWorx ? I saw in the LogView mashup that we have access to the ApplicationLog resource that has a QueryLogEntries function, but i couldn't find any function similar to deleteStreamEntry or purgeStreamEntries anywhere.Any advice on this ?Thank you,Veronica

In property section we are creating a password basetype and then in mashup we are binding it with a textbox. But it is not getting binded. Why is that so?

I am working on drawings and need to change the line weight of a cutting line through a cross section. I cannot change the cutting lines using the line style manager and I need a different line style that what is available with cutting_line options in the drawing properties. I'm having some difficulty with Creo Simulation 2.0 using perimeter welds. For model that I have created a perimeter weld feature, every time I start the simulation the weld that I have created and the contact interface that I have also created are suppressed.Is there a way to make the application accept this joining condition? Hi. I'm using MathCAD Prime 3.1.How do I type in temperature units °C or °F ? I know you can click on "Units" on the "Math" tab. But I'm hoping for a simple and faster way to type it in.There is probably a very simple answer to this question, but an hour of banging my head against the desk has not helped me find it.So, if i am trying to write "50°C" I try typing: 50 Alt248 C =This gives "50°•C=0.87*C"Hmm..., so it thinks I want degrees and then Coulombs.I tried many things after this and finally found a rather long way:50 * " Alt248 C RightArow Delete LeftArrow LeftArrow Delete =This gives me the correct answer: "50°C=323.15K" Does anyone know of a faster way to type it in?

Hi,Version: Thingworx 7.2Steps: We are trying to auto update a data table in mashup, so we did following,- created a property IsUpdated (Boolean) in data table.- This property is set to true whenever write occurs through service.- GetProperties of the datatable is used and also checked "Automatically update values when able"- output of getproperties (IsUpdated) mapped to expression widget, whenever data changed a service is called to retrieve datatable.Issue: We found that writes into data table entries are happening in asynchronous fashion​, we would like to know, how to make the data write to data table synchronous, so mashup would know exactly when the data table has updated.Regards,Penchalaiah

A slightly trivial subject, and quite possibly an even more trivial answer, but: how do I get Creo2 to show dimmed tangent edges in solid shaded view, like Wildfire used to? Now it looks like Catia, and tbh it's ugly! Options -> Entity Display allows me to choose from a variety of options for tangent edges - but it doesn't seem to respond when I change the setting.

I am trying to solve a set of equations using Given and Find.  I wish to define some boundary conditions. Eg. I may wish to limit some answers to a range between 0 and  1 or limit some values to positive numbers numbers. I don't know how. Your help will be appreciated. File is attached.Basically I am using current and voltage data from relays at both ends of a line to find a fault location.If we limit all values to real and  M is between  0 and 1 The expected answer for U  is about  0.75 - 0.76.

Hi guys,does anyone knows how TQ are defined and processed in ThingWorx.We are use to seeing those VTQs in SCADA systems, where the quality tag travels across whole system from its source(PLC) to the consumer(OPC client).I have not found anything about this in Thingworx reference guide.If you display my property as VTQ all of those are GOOD, so I kind a missing the point.It has to do something of coarse, otherwise it would not be there..Any knowledge about this stuff?ThanksTomasEnjoy your weekend.

Has anyone else had a problem with the Auto Refresh widget not dragging from the Widgets section in Mashup Designer? I can drag any other widget but Auto Refresh does absolutely nothing. I've tried in Chrome and Firefox, same problem. I'm using Thingworx 7.2.0-b155. Any ideas?Regards,Greg

I'm working with the ThingWorx MQTT extension on version 7.2, and I'm finding that updates to properties via MQTT topics aren't firing DataChanged events on my Things. Manual changes to the properties the topics are bound to fire the DataChanged events. For example, if I use the String type of the data coming from MQTT, I can alter the value and see a subscription on the object change. But if that same change happens via the MQTT topic, no event is fired, even though the property data is updated.Is there a way to see catch property changes when MQTT topics update a property?Thanks,G

Hello, I have an STL file that was created from a 3D CT scanner. I am now in the process of creating a parametric model from it but I am running into a bit of a problem. The STL is 500MB and contains 9,705,964 facets which is making my CREO run real slow and it typically crashes when saving.
