Every once in a while I run into a situation where I need to add an angular dimension to a sketch and it wants to change it to linear.The problem appears to be that the angle is less than a degree.Here is the sketch prior to adding the dimension.  There isn't a lot of difference of height but there is a difference.Here is what happens after the dimension.  You can see that the shading hasn't updated on the right corner.How do you force an angular dimension?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. What does a spring icon inside of an assembly's blue/yellow square symbol in the model tree mean??   I'm familiar with the different variations and combinations of boxes next to the names of parts in the model tree.  But this spring actually inside of the assembly symbol?   Any answers/theories are welcomed and appreciated.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Is there any type of example explaining how to write to the ThingWorx log from a remote device using the Java SDK?I've found some amount on writing to the TW log from an extension, which is somewhat similar, but there appears to be some differences and some libraries the Java SDK does not use.Any help would be much appreciated. Hi All,I've set up the office worker on a separate server using the Adobe Experience Manager. The Worker Daemon is started from a CMD Window and not set as a service. While publishing the doc2pv.exe application crashes.Details: Windchill 10.2            Creo View Adapters 3.0            Adobe Experience Manager 6The application crashes while publishing an Excel Doc (see attachment) . In the change request process we have nodes for various groups that need to approve the change request before it can go to CCB for approval. The task notices show up in their task list in Windchill, but not an email notification. What needs to be set so each group gets email notifications?Windchill/PDMLink 10.0 M040

I am having a problem making the Postgres SQL works with Thingworx. I want to install a fresh Thingworx server with PostgresSQL. I followed the instructions from https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/doc/refdoc.jsp?p=browse_results&Product=ThingWorx&Release=&DocType=&Role= to create the database in ThingworxPostgresqlStorage folder and create another folder-ThingworxPlatform to put the modelproviderconfig.Json file. I can see that the database is created in pgAdmin III. I deployed the Thingworx.war for Postgres but could not connect to Thingworx server. I got the error page as shown below. It seems like the database is not connected.Can somebody help?Thank you.

Creo 2PDMLink 10.1 M050I have users that sometimes have both Creo open logged into PDMLink and a separate IE browser logged into PDMLink.If they use the "Open in Creo" in Creo to open another CAD file it will use the existing session.  However, if they do the same thing through IE it will open a 2nd Creo session.Is there a way to stop that?  I don't want to disassociate the .pha file as a solution because I assume it would remove it from being usable through Creo.  I want to know how to make the "Open in Creo" check if Creo is already running and then use that session.

See guys this is the error I am getting. I tried to import each extension separately but all done except this Last one PTC_Navigate_View_PLM_App_extension.zip......It is throwing that error actually. Do you guys have any clue, how can I fix it and make it work.

Hi Guys,I have rather unusual problem.We do have a production instance version of 6.6.2.There must have been a bug in that build, because back then it allowed me to create a ModelTagVocabulary named:developers even though that there was already vocabulary named Developers (with different case).Now I need to upgrade our TW version, and when I am doing export->import (via source control entities as well as with ThingWorx storage) I have an error:Vocabulary developers already exists, but with different case. So I choose not to import that Vocabulary, but now every entity that contains that tag is not working.Is there a safe way how to delete whole Vocabulary, all it's terms and references to those terms?I need to clear my system before I do the export.Thanks a lotTomas

Hello. I am new to Creo and Ive been creating flat patterns using a family table. The bend notes do not show up even though they are turned on in options under sheet metal/bend notes display settings/show bend notes. The tangent bend lines show up however. Hi!   I've been watching videos on how to build different structures through the PTC Creo website. However, I find it challenging to follow some of them, since they skip a lot of intermediate steps, start at an awkward/confusing point in their project where they have something I have no idea how to get, or just don't talk about how they are doing what they are doing when they are doing it. Hello,   I would like to add contacts to my model.  There is a part that travels up an down a rod following cam paths attached by a spring.  I have a washer at the end of said rod, theoretically, keeping said "traveling part" from coming off the end of the rod.  When I attempt to use the 3D contact feature I am not able to select the two surfaces that I am interested in.   I am fairly new to Mechanism so it's possible that more information is needed to respond.  Please inbox me for any additional information and/or clarification. Hello,I need to solve a system of simultaneous equations to find reference parameters for a PV model. I have entered the same set of equations in Mathcad 15 and Mathcad prime 3.0. As far as I can see the equations are exactly the same in both worksheets. The problem I'm having is that Mathcad 15 is not returning an answer although I get a solution in Mathcad prime 3.0. I would like to resolve the issue in Mathcad 15 as I need to plot graphs and do some further analyses using functionality that is available in Mathcad 15 but not prime. I also have no way of telling which algorithm Mathcad Prime  3.0 applied to return the solution so I can't even replicate that in Mathcad 15.I also noticed that if I change the guess values in prime and then change back to original guess values that returned a solution, sometimes mathcad prime 3.0 doesn't return a solution also, no idea why. (Note that for a valid solution 1<a<2 but when I include this constraint mathcad prime 3.0 won't return

Can I view an animation created in Creo parametric in Creo View Express.
