I'm struggling to get a for loop to run in Mathcad Prime 7.0.0 I have a matrix "d" that I want to stack "N" times. The matrix "d" could have any number of rows, and "N" >= 1  (these are defined elsewhere in my sheet). But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to iterate through the loop. Where have I gone wrong? The examples I see are using "i" inside the loop to perform an operation (sum several terms, etc.). Maybe since I'm not actually using "i" for the calculation anywhere it's breaking? Maybe because my stacked matrix isn't actually a function defined by "i"? Should I be using while instead of if?

There is a circular face and I want to create a helical sweep (like a spring) from it. However, the origin circular face is angled such that it is not normal to the helical trajectory.  Currently using Creo Parametric version 8.

We are in the process of testing Creo 8.0.0.0 and Windchill 12.  My question is regarding sheet metal flat pattern representations and multi-user use thru Windchill. Our design team would like to design the formed configuration and put in the flat pattern rep.  They check this into Windchill.  Our drafting group would check out this model, do the detail drawing of the formed view, and then check these both back in. Modified parameters in the model used in the title block causes a change to the model and we're OK w/ this.  At this point the Adv Mfg Eng team would like to pull out the formed design model and create a new drawing showing the flat pattern rep with the overall dimensions and the dimensions to the bend lines.  These are created dimensions in the drawing only.  Sheet 2 would be a 1:1 view for DXF output. In our testing, the act of creating a new drawing and creating dimensions in the drawing has caused a 'change' to the design mode

Hi I want to use the values from a feature analysis that I have in a component in assembly.All feature analyses are suppressed when I insert the component into the assembly. Does anyone have an idea or a way to allow me to use the feature analysis values?Thanks,

The green line and the blue line are displayed together. I used the fixing move and changed the parts, but the line appears both before and after the move. I converted the file to STEP format, and the STEP file still shows the lines. I tried changing the layer tree, but both lines are on the same layer, so I couldn't delete one line. Please tell me how to delete the line.

All, I am using a building code prescribed equation with a constant that does not have units assigned in the code.  As a result MathCad gives a Unit error.  Now I could backsolve to find the units but that seems cumbersome.  Can I simply force MathCad to solve the equation and remove the red rectangle from the output/print?

 I am using Creo 7.0. I have an assembly. I want to show the BOM position of a particular part in the drawing as a note. Can we extract that BOM position as a parameter in the drawing. So that whenever the position of that part change, it will be refreshed in the drawing too.

This is a generic problem but one that I face now and then moving code changes through GIT and wanted to get your thoughts. I have some integrations where properties files store the connection information to that other database. That database will be different for Dev/Test and production so that file needs to have the right connection information. Just recently, I have changes to my security labels and am calling out a group for Agreement Managers. That org tied to that group is different in my Dev server and my production server. Obviously, this needs to be changed during deployment.  As I moved toward more automated deployment methods, how based do we handle these server specific file alterations? I am considering moving many of these specific parameters to an .xconf file and out of the GIT repo. This will take some refactoring. The securityLabelsConfiguration.xml is another story. Is there any limitations in importing rows in master sheet for DPM.I m importing master datasheet in DPM but facing an issue when it comes to material master sheet.DPM all of sudden stopped importing and screen was ideal for 3 hrs. We are implementing some Modelcheck settings for multibody parts, primarily to enable generative topology optimization applications.  I know that there is a Modelcheck test to determine if a given part has more than one body.  Are there any other checking strategies that you folks would recommend to use for parts which have more than one body?  Thanks in advance...Barry

anytime I try to open creo parametric 7.0.8.0  I get these error messages telling me it is not able to run the quality agent( error 0x06000012) and another telling me the creo agent didn’t initialise correctly. 

Hello all,In general, the question I have is whether I prefer to work with isolated Creo-Illustrate files for large projects, or preferably just one, where I combine everything together. The problem is, of course, that Creo-Illustrate files are getting bigger and bigger and thus harder to handle. My example:Let's say I create two separtate Ci files (Ci 1 and Ci 2) for two different pvz files (Assembly-1.pvz and Assembly-2.pvz).In each Ci I create for example three 3D figures (3D figure 1...3 and 3D figure 4....6).After some time I realize that it would make more sense to have only one Ci instead of two.So I copy for example the Ci 1 and name it Ci 1+2. Here are now already the 3D figures 1...3 included.Then I import the second pvz, i.e. Assembly-2.pvz. So far, so good. Here is my question:Is it now possible to copy (transfer) the 3D figures 4...6 from the Ci 2 to the new Ci 1+2?Or do I have to recreate the 3D figures 4...6 in the Ci 1+2?Attached is the schematic vie

I have set an index then restart my thing then reindex service i have executed. Now in FindDataTableEntries  service in parameters(maxItems and values) in values parameter i have written in useridentification field for eg JHON and other all fields i have left empty because i need the data where the useridentification field will match to JHON  but it returns no data. Can someone please give me details about my problem. Having issues with the solve block, "units are not compatible" I know the part that is bad is the part in the screenshot as that part was added specifically for this scenario. Would also like to simplify it as its the same equation with different Q value determined by the Q[ value. Please advise, Thank you!!
