Hi All ! I'd like to ask if you can help me solving my problem.(Thingworx 9.3) I have a Grid where the user can edit data. Data is saved to MS SQL database upon SAVE button. I want the users to use their login name and password for performing the save action, -> the concept would be a pop-up window to confirm the save,-> only if passsword matches the username, the data is saved to the database, otherwise it would notify user for invalid password and he can try again. -> by cancelling the signature process or closing the pop-up window, the save must not happen. Could you please advise how to make such "electornic signing" proccess ? Any advise on how to do such logic is greatly appreciated !  I've already made a mushup for signature purpuse , but cannot figure out how to pass/bind the "result" of the password validation from the pop-up mashup back to the mashup which triggered the pop-up. 

I am experiencing a problem with the following: https://<WINDCHILL_SERVER>/Windchill/servlet/odata/DocMgmt/Documents('OR:wt.doc.WTDocument:288032')/PTC.DocMgmt.UploadStage1Action. I executed this API in the document, and there is no issue related to DocMgmt. However, the actual thing I need to run is not DocMgmt, but CADDocumentMgmt. I access the data as follows: Windchill/servlet/odata/CADDocumentMgmt/CADDocuments('OR:wt.epm.EPMDocument:22567231'). But when I send a POST request to Windchill/servlet/odata/CADDocumentMgmt/CADDocuments('OR:wt.epm.EPMDocument:22567231')/PTC.CADDocumentMgmt.UploadStage1Action or UploadStage3Action, I don't get any response. What is the solution to this, and can you help me?

Hi everyone,   My question is suppose we have an Infotable like the below one.     Now what I want is filter these data based on Gender and School  Requirement: Like we have two dropdown in the mashup UI  one for Gender and another for School now if user Select any of the dropdown data should be filtered in the grid according to selection in the dropdown   please let me know how can I configure it in Thingworx 8.5 version   If Possible please share the exact solution  please share binding as well   Best Regards, Rayon.

HiWe have a requirement to stop traversing a structure in BOM report if the assembly has part type = inseparable or source=buy when generating a BOM report. The reason is that the buy or inseparable compoents does not have child components in ERP. Can this be done without major customizations?

Hi everyone.I need to display in the same chart two data series. The common X-axis will be time of the entry and one Y-axis will display data using Bar-Chart, the second Y-axis will display data using Line-Chart. As you can understand, they should overlap in the same widget.We currently using Thingworx 9.3 and after I read article CS323245 I learned that only Label Chart is capable to do it.Our production team is concerned about it usage since its already marked as 'Legacy', and would probably cause troubles if we decide to update TW to next version.Is there any default/well maintained alternatives we can use?Thanks.Illya.

I need to get a 2D matrix barcode data from a PLC and split them into date, time, part number, cavity number, etc. and then save them into the database. Is it possible to do so?

I just upgraded to 10.0.2.0 yesterday, and I'm getting an Unhandled Exception error.  I don't know what the issue is.  It's probably clear to someone else from the error message, but non of this means anything to me. 

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.10When creating a promotion request, selecting certain workflow processes on the "Select Participants" step results in the "Participant List" showing a completely blank table, regardless of the table view selected. The roles of the related workflow are not present and users are not selectable. Other workflow processes work properly. This issue does NOT occur if the user is in the Product Manager role. Need to determine the cause.No errors observed in MethodServer logs at time of creating the issue.

Hi all,I'm trying to make a custom note for the MBD annotation of a tapped hole pattern.The note contains the following text4X &SCREW_SIZE:FID_374 &THREAD_SERIES:FID_374 - &CLASS:FID_374 &Thread_Length:FID_374where FID_374 is indicating the hole with feature id 374.It is my intention to replace 4X with something like &HOLE_INSTANCE_COUNT.My problem is that the parameters THREAD_LENGTH and THREAD_DEPTH no longer seem to be available in PTC Creo 9.0.3.0 (although they are mentioned in the manuals).The hole pattern feature has apparently no parameters. For Creo Parametric, I would like to store the "Controlled" versions of files in Windchill (Primarily things like symbols and manikin configuration files)  but have Windchill do a nightly or hourly write of those files to shared network locations so that the common Robocopy method can be used to pull the files to the users local machines.   (Creo has slow down issues when reading symbols and manikin poses from Windchill directly).    Is this possible?  Can I be pointed to the correct terminology or relevant help files.     Even better would be if there is a way for Windchill to update the users local Creo Parametric files without needed to use RoboCopy.   Thanks for any help or direction. (Using Creo 9 and Windchill 12.  But should be moving to W13 soon)

I am having one Windchill 12.1.2 installed and running on my PC with SQL Server. I want to install another Windchill 12.0 server on same server with Oracle Database. I have created separate oracle DB for same. Do I need to create new DS as well or I can use already existing DS? Also Can I keep already installed instance running during new installation? Other than this what other pre-requisites I should take care. I am looking for tips and hints from others who have done something similar. 

I have a user who would like to roll back a new part to yesterday.  It is new, so never checked in.  Is there a way to roll back a new part in a Workspace?

Hi All,I published a project to Experience Service failed,but it show in Experience Service file.Then I deleted my local project and remote Experience Service  project in (*/studio-es-store/projects).It still stay in vuforia view library list. I have restarted ES and it doesn't work.May I know how to delete it in view list? Thank you. 

Stupid question...I'm just getting back into MathCAD (Prime 7.0) after several years absence...I'm trying to see if create a simple routine that will automatically strip the units from a variable and display only the numeric portion...so I can turn it into a string and use it in text functions. Essentially what I have right now...The routine divides out the SIUnitsOf(variable) and multiplies that by a conversion factor that it sequentially looks up in a matrix.And it divides the variable by the conversion factor's base unit (from the same matrix).When I type out the procedure for an individual case, it gives the expected answer.When I try to put that procedure into a "for" loop, it gives me an unexpected "These units are not compatible" error....can anyone see what am I doing wrong?

Hi All, I have been given the task of trying to make this MathCAD program work in Prime. It works perfectly well in MC15 but throws up unit errors in Prime.  I was guessing that it had something to do with the unit which is Newtons, which I added in, but it still doesn't work. Any advise on where this is going wrong?

Hi.I am using Creo Panametric 8.0. I am new to this programme, but for whatever reason I can't figure out why my removing material when extruding doesn't work. I have looked at other forums but nothing seemed to work. This includes changing the type from solid to surface, as well as making the extrusion into different shapes: some shapes seem to work, some do not.I have made an extrusion out of ellipse and line tool and want to cut that extrusion out of my current cuboid.I have the "remove material" selected and it goes through the cuboid but it doesn't remove any material.Thanks

(currently using the PTCU virtual desktop version of Creo parametric) When I'm creating sketch elements, such as lines, circles, etc., is there a shortcut to immediately enter in the values as I'm drawing them? Such as, a shortcut that brings up the type-in dialogue immediately after placing the element?Right now, it seems like the fastest way is to create the element, then press escape (if drawing a line), then close out the tool using the middle mouse button, then find and click on the little dialogue for the dimension (hoping it isn't overlapping something), THEN finally type in the dimension.This seems very cumbersome and slow, so I wondered if there's a more streamlined process I'm not aware of.

Hello everybody.To create custom menus in Thingworx Apps we need to create records in 3 tables, as written in "https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS405431?source=search". They are menucontext, menu and menucontextlink. The first two tables have fields related to tokens. The menucontext table has the displaynametoken and descriptiontoken fields. The menu table has the fields displaynametoken, descriptiontoken and shortdescriptiontoken. The thingworx apps manual talks about some of these tokens very superficially. The menucontext table fields are not difficult to understand. But the others...Could anyone tell me where each of these tokens are used?ps. This doubt is also valid for icons. Where are they used? What are your sizes?Any help will be appreciated.Thanks.

why when I start Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Express 8.0 in Italian, the window to activate the SW that was activated at installation appears?Why does it have to be activated each time with the temporary use key for 72 hours?Why is the Italian version of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Express 8.0 no longer available for download, only the English version exists?

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.2I get a Windchill Error when searching after leaving browser alone for a time period of about 20 minutes or more.Here are the errors that I have in the browser window.Status Code: 500Message: Cannot restore "wt.query.SearchHistory. 198022734" because it no longer exists.This isn't the only 12.1.2.2 issues we are seeing with the GUI.
