Building a decent sized harness that will have a few places where things get spliced, found this video which give me some information on a way to do it...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1Ff4-zHkbA Few things I'd like to know is one is this the best way to add splices to a harness? Would there be a way to do it without adding another physical part to the mix? I have not verified this but doing it in this way would create a new wire number (W-1,W-2 etc) for each new wire that comes out of the splice which would show up as individual wires on a to from table in a drawing. Would there be another method that would call out all those wires as one wire number but still allow multiple gauges? If this is the only way then I get it Creo being Creo. I just find it hard to believe that there isn't a way to splice wires without adding another solid body to the harness assembly and just doing it right in the harness menu.

I have thingworx 9.6.5 cloud hosted.   On a mashup I have dropdown menu automatically populated and selected with the right value at page load.Esample I have 3 options mode1 mode2 mode3, and at page load I populate the dropdown and select the last selection (ex mode3). I also use the SelectedItemsChanged event, in order to update the selected value with a service, whennever the dropdown is used.The problem is that at page load, when it auto-select the last value (SelectedText input property of the widget), it launch the SelectedItemsChanged event and so it saves  that first selection as a change ... but this is not needed and cause some problems.   I know if I use an external SAVE BUTTON instead of the events I could solve .... but I would it saves changes directly when dropdown is changed.Is there a best practise to to that ?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.8.0While trying to set up ModelCheck, the instructions say to go to "To configure the Creo ModelCHECK settings, click File > Options > Environment > ModelCHECK Settings." However, that menu option (Environment) is not available to me.How do I get File > Options > Environment to become available to me?Here are the errors that I facedNone

I'm using MathCAD 9.0.0.0. I laid our 2 sets of 3 equations. One set is using variables. The other set has the values plugged straight in. The set with the variables should equal the set with the values because the values are the same, but they don't and none of them equal the correct answer. What should happen is...Rx=Rx=-22Ry=Ry=211.5R=r=213My MathCAD program is written to follow this example...This is how my MathCAD program looks...Ignore the 25 degrees and the 75 degrees in the diagram. This is a homework problem altered to match the example problem so I can test to make sure it works before plugging in the values for the homework problem. Also, I'm interested in fixing the "values" problems Rx, Ry, and r. I only created those to figure out why my variable problems Rx, Ry, and R aren't working. We have our vaults set to 25K while the default is 50K and Microsoft says the 50K per folder is an okay limit. If we go back and change the limit to 50K and make the existing vaults writeable again, will Windchill start putting the files in vault 1 or continue with the last folder used and then move to the next new folder?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.6.0Unable to find where Creo Chromium-browser-cache is located for Creo 11.0.6.0 on the client to be able to clear it at every Creo start.

I'm using MathCAD 9.0.0.0. I'm not sure why I'm getting the wrong answer. The calculation should be...R = 329.687 N...but I'm getting...R = 108695.156 NIs there something wrong with my settings? Thanks,    Brent 

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.8.0Basically I’m trying to learn how to create a hole feature UDF with pro program embedded in it where pro program would be prompting user to read values from a text file which would create a different size hole each time the UDF was placed. If I had a part model that had 3 different size tapped holes, could I place the same UDF 3 times but each time read the text file (modified with new values) to create a different size hole (8-32, ¼-20, etc.) Or is this not what Pro Program was intended to do?

Does anyone know why the attached issue is occurring? It seems that when you run units of feet, there is some kind of internal rounding error.

As mentioned in this topic.I have the same issue with the inability to identify the context type when creating a workspace from the Windchill home page. however, one of my TEST servers is currently exhibiting the desired behavior and i do not know what is different about this server. i have seen the same output in 1-2 screen shots for CS Articles in the PTC KB, but PTC TS cannot determine what is causing the context type to be shown after the name in ( ). anyone else experience this?   we are running wc12.0.2

Hello With reference to this tip, I am not able to connect to external database  In properties section of DB Thing it is showing as not connected    But somehow some services are getting executed

Hello, I'm trying to draw 3D spline go through 5 points defined by matrix "a" .After defining matrix of x range, y and z, these three matrixes are not able to be combined by "augment" function.Are there any way to combine these three xyz matrixes? or any other way to plot xyz?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.4.0I have written a C executable that will not run unless ucore68.dll is in my Windows path. I want to not be dependent on DLLs if possible.Here are the errors that I faced:The code execution cannot proceed because ucore68.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

Hello,I'm using a worksheet in Mathcad prime 11 with the pwrfit function to interpolate the curve of electronic components.Since I like working with units in Mathcad, I slightly modified the interpolation coefficients to include units.Solve this kind of equation, but with the interpolation VPROT = F(I). I is the resultMy goal is to solve a function that uses this interpolation. Hidden line removal for quilt not working with 2D cross-section from Sections used. I want image 2,3,4 to be like image 1 that hides hidden line for quilts. The matrix of the element is 4x4, "i"= 1 to "n", n: number of elementsI have an auxiliary matrix that defines in each row the degrees of freedom associated with each element. For example row 1 contains the degrees of freedom of element 1 and so on. I named this matrix GDL  What I want is for Mathcad to grab the matrix of each element and place it in the global matrix at the positions corresponding to the columns and rows that indicate the row of the auxiliary matrix GDL. For example the stiffness matrix of element 3 must be placed in rows and columns numbers 1, 2,5 y 6 of the global matrix.I understand that once the correct routine is created I would have to use a FOR cycle to do it for each element.
